As we close out 2024 and look ahead to 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments of this past year and share the exciting opportunities that lie before us. Navasota continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of our residents, businesses, and city leadership. Together, we have built momentum thatwillcarryusintoanevenbrighterfuture.

We ended 2024 with the return of our beloved HomefortheHolidaysevent.Navasotawasalive with festive spirit as families enjoyed activities, the lighted parade, and the Christmas tree lighting It was a wonderful celebration of community and a perfect way to wrap up the year

Throughout2024,wemadesignificantstrideson key projects. The 2024 Street Maintenance Project was successfully completed, ensuring safer and smoother roads across our city. Alongside this, several Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) addressed vital infrastructure needs, enhancing our quality of life and paving thewayforfuturegrowth.

Looking to 2025, we are excited to continue building on these achievements. One of our biggest milestones this year will be welcoming our new City Manager This transition marks an exciting step in ensuring our city’s continued success

We also have some wonderful events on the horizon! I encourage everyone to join us for the State of the City Address on January 9, held in conjunction with the Navasota/Grimes County Chamber of Commerce. This event will provide an overview of our city’s progress and share plans for the year ahead. Looking further ahead, don’tmisstheTexasBirthdayBashonMarch1at August Horst Park!
