Responsibility: FPUA March 2022 Update: FPUA staff completed 30% design on March 2022 with the selection of the treatment process. The 50% and 90% completions are expected to be on schedule as noted above. FPUA staff has prepared a draft item with the rate sufficiency recommendations required to obtain municipal bond funding. The rate sufficiency recommendations will first go to the FPUA Board on May 3rd then to City Commission on May 16th. If approved as noted, the closing of new bonds will be scheduled in early June 2022. The construction of the new plant would begin in early 2023 and completed by 2024-2025. The Island plant would be demolished approximately during 2025.
