March 2022 Update

In January, St. Lucie County convened the One St. Lucie Homelessness Task Force to meet monthly and work with local municipalities and agencies to address homelessness and housing in St. Lucie County and to develop strategies to prevent, reduce and end chronic individual homelessness in our area. Currently, the Task Force is hosting a series of public engagement workshops in Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie to help develop solutions to end homelessness throughout St. Lucie County. The task force is charged with creating and presenting a community action plan to the Board of County Commissioners no later than June 1, 2022.
