March 2022 Update

A. Orange Avenue Corridor (FDOT) Project

1. Provide City input into design Ongoing Coordination meeting with FDOT Design Consultant, last week of March 2022.

2. Complete resurfacing design for 33rd to U.S. 1 (FDOT)

7/22 Consultant nearing 60% design plan completion 3. Complete construction (FDOT) 2023 Project funding appropriated for FY 2024 (July 2023)

B. Avenue D Corridor (29th to Indian River

Drive) Project

1. Complete design

2. Complete construction 9/22 Design currently underway. 60% design plans by April 30th . 6/23 To be determined

C. Indian River Drive Corridor Project

1. DECISION: Interlocal Agreement with St. Lucie County 7/22 No change

2. Hire consultant 8/22 No change 3. Develop streetscape plan 8/23 No change

Responsibility: City Engineer/FPUA

FPUA March 2022 Update:

FPUA staff reviewed the projects listed above in general. An FPUA utility design will be completed once the final roadway project designs have been completed.

Additionally, FPUA & City staff continue to meet on a quarterly basis for project review of ongoing and upcoming projects. The most recent quarterly meeting was in March 2022.
