f you need a sweet and charitable treat before the big pie fundraiser happening on May 3rd, head down to the curling club parking lot this Saturday, April 11th between 10-2 pm. Dale and Doreen Balde of Lakeside Concession & Mini Donuts will be there selling mini donuts and coffee with 100% of the proceeds going towards the new stove and flooring for the Chase Community Hall kitchen. “We wanted to get involved be-

cause everybody in the community benefits from this project, not just one particular group or organization,” said Dale. Dale hopes they raise a decent amount to add to the $4000 that has been raised so far of the $8000 needed for the new stove and replacement flooring. Buy your pie ticket from Naramada Downtown, at Sunny BC Realty for $20/slice or get a group together and get a whole pie for $100.
