AMPLIFY YOUR WELL-BEING

Looking good will certainly turn up when you feel good. These two work as a cycle. Feel good because you look good or you look good when you feel good. We need to understand that looking good is not the only route to feel good.

Feeling at your best is linked to healthy habits – amplified drive, an improved body weight, and possibly the best if all, stress relief and a better mood. When we observe healthy habits, we look our best and feel our best. Eventually, it could make our work and personal relationships effective. Pretty good deal don’t you think?

People should put extra effort in holistic development not just on how they look or how they perform. There are individuals who look great and they can do things remarkably, but they are messed up internally as well as psychologically.

.

All the small or big work that we do every day will have the same outcome on how you will feel good on the inside. It’s alright to push ourselves a little higher or exceed expectations. Take care of yourself and stay healthy in all the things that you will do every day. And by healthy, we imply the entire mental, emotional, and physical facets of that word.

CSM: 2020 was dubbed a challenging and surprising year. Simplify how did you show your resiliency?

AMBER: 2020 has definitely been a challenging year. Get Things Done To Move Forward

Are you at a place that you feel you’re not making headway with your aspirations? Do you struggle to undertake what you set out to do? You can achieve progress by forming and attentively working towards your goals that align your mission. A growth mindset enables you to work on any problem which can shorten the fulfillment of your goals.

A mindset involves your beliefs –how you distinguish skills, abilities, facts or behavior. The belief system affects someone’s perspectives concerning ambitions and achievement. A rigid mindset hinders progress, but a progressive outlook allows someone to attain health, pleasure, connection and harmony.

Planning your goals is an easy task. Attaining those objectives is a whole new level and that is also the reason why so many people fail to seize their goals. This could lead to some people never setting goals again because their confidence has been knocked around by their mistakes or past experiences. These setbacks are caused by flawed process for planning and evaluating your progress.

A structure can help. It’s simple, but a powerful plan. A solid and effective plan should include measurements for progress, clear timeframes for completion, and planned forums to probe and learn. Get things done while being mindful. Consider the results that you created and the unexpected encounters. It’s not about getting things done, but getting the right things done. Revised implementation should accommodate change. Looking back is not a bad thing, but useful to obtain vital information. It comprises of what worked and what needs improvement depending on its complexity. Always review developments and contemplate any adjustments to move forward.

Debriefed details should be actionable. Don’t leave any significant details. Hold yourself accountable and integrate what you have learned. You must be responsible with your actions and your commitments. If this is overlooked, nothing will work. Some are distinctly tenacious, but most people are not. Progress cannot be achieved without accountability. Goals are vital in life because it gives you a sense of purpose. Purpose also helps you to overcome difficult days and eventually, this could also contribute to your overall happiness, contentment, peace, health and wellbeing.

AMBER: Working out is just as much mental as it is physical. It allows you to put more effort and focus into your workout.

AMBER: A trainer needs to know a client’s medical history to know their physical and dietary limitations.

AMBER: Fact. There is scientific evidence that states exercising on a regular basis can improve sexual function.

Franco Maffioli
Throw out the old playbook and become a new kind of leading man. who will influence greatness to people. ft. LEON DONY

CSM: 2020 has been described as a challenging and surprising year. Simplify, how have you shown your resilience?

LEON: 2020 was a year that allowed me to further develop my artistic and entrepreneurial spirit. Indeed, I was able to make a video project, train on several topics that interested me, and of course continue to refine my sports training.

CSM: What are some ways to act in the face of uncertainty?

LEON: In the face of uncertainty, I would say that several keys have helped me. First of all, the fact of always believing in oneself even when the situations become difficult, the fact of surrounding oneself with good people, and finally the fact of having a routine allows my mental state to be focused that will resist in front of the uncertainty.

CSM: In your profession, how do you demonstrate confidence and decisiveness?

LEON: In my profession as a model, I demonstrate confidence by always looking to excel, always looking for new ideas that create value.

CSM: What innovative goals are you looking forward to achieving?

LEON: When I started modeling, my primary goal was to get signed to a modeling agency. Today, I would say that my goals that I would like to achieve would be to be able to meet more inspiring people, to create inspiring projects.

CSM: Describe the epitome of confident and sexy?

LEON: Self-confidence is a state that we think is impossible to achieve. However, the embodiment of self-confidence materializes when we realize that doing things we don’t usually do on a daily basis, doing small actions every day, makes us happier and happier. The sexy I would say that the incarnation depends on the vision of each one as the beautiful, which can be found in a photo that has been well worked, in a physical that has been well worked.

CSM: How can you stand out in an accelerating and competitive industry?

LEON: I would say that acceleration and competition is a good thing, because if the competition can do it, I can do it. The goal I think is to compete with yourself, without putting limits on yourself.

CSM: In terms of career, what does it take to be a good influence?

LEON: To be a good influence in terms of career, I think you have to always be fair to yourself, stay true to your own values and always be honest with yourself and others.

CSM: What valuable lesson can you pass on to others, especially the next generation?

LEON: I would say today, that life is full of surprises and twists no matter what. So the valuable lesson I will be able to pass on to others, especially the next generation would be “believe in yourself, go for what really matters to you no matter what, and that failure allows you to grow.”

INDEPTH

PERSONALITY WITH LEON

InFitness AND IN HEALTH

CSM: How do food and nutrition play an important role in healthy living?

LEON: Food and nutrition represent the core of human life. They enable the human metabolism to function well, to feel good in daily life, to increase energy tenfold. I would say that good nutrition is essential to well-being.

CSM: Explain the vital skills that keep weight or fitness consistent.

LEON: In my opinion, the life skills that maintain weight or fitness consistency are good hydration, good sleep, good nutrition.

CSM: What fitness aspirations do you want to achieve?

LEON: In terms of fitness, knowing that all of my workouts are a mix of exercises from several different disciplines, I would say that my aspirations would be to have a fairly streamlined and proportionate physique.

CSM: describe the most essential exercises for fat loss and weight gain.

LEON: For me, and from my own experiences, yoga exercises have helped me lose fat. And strength training combined with a diet where I ate a lot allowed me to gain muscle.

CSM: What is the basic gym etiquette that people should practice?

LEON: In my opinion, the basic etiquette that people should follow is respect and support for each other.

CSM: Explain whether it is a good idea to exercise when you are feeling mentally stressed.

LEON Since the body and mind are linked, I for one and based on my experience, think there are two possible answers. Indeed it is not a good idea to exercise when you feel mentally stressed because the body and mind are not in a good energy to

perform the exercises properly. However, regular exercise can help reduce stress.

CSM: Explain why a personal trainer should know all of their client’s medical history.

LEON: A personal trainer or coach must know all of the client’s medical history in order to know exactly how to lead the client to success by providing appropriate exercise.

CSM: Fact or myth, there is a connection between mental health and physical health. Why is this the case?

LEONR: To me it’s a fact. The brain is a muscle that guides and directs our thoughts, actions and deeds. So when the mental health is at its lowest, it can have a consequence on the physical health, as for example phases where we can gain weight, or lose weight, have pain in certain place of the body.

CSM: What are the top tips you can give to those who want to achieve their fitness goals?

LEON: The main advice I could give to those who want to reach their fitness goals would be to always keep your goal in mind, to know why you want to reach it, to be rigorous with yourself.

CSM: What are some simple things people can do, in their daily routine, in addition to working out, to get results faster?

LEON: In my opinion, adapting your training with a healthy daily diet, drinking more water, sleeping at least 7 hours a day to rest your body and mind, would be what I would advise.

Food and nutrition represent the core of human life. They enable the human metabolism to function well, to feel good in daily life, to increase energy tenfold.
I would say that good nutrition is essential to well-being.”

ASHLEN: 2020 surprisingly ended up being a great year for me. Even with the significant amount of loss many endured, including me. I was able to spend quality time with my family and figure out what was best for us as we made big changes, like a cross country move. It was exciting and motivated me to see the good in all things.

CSM: What are the ways to take action in the face of uncertainty?

ASHLEN: Practicing mindfulness and enjoying the moment! We never know what life will throw at us, so if you can go with the flow things are never really a disappointment. I look at the “negative” aspects of life as learning experiences.

CSM: In your profession, how do you exude assertiveness and decisiveness?

ASHLEN: First and foremost, it’s important to be kind and respectful. When people can trust you, they are more likely to follow your direction. Whether I am friends with someone or just an acquaintance I want them to have respect for me and the profession I am in so when I provide insight or direction, they will listen.

CSM: What groundbreaking goals do you look forward to achieving?

ASHLEN: I am a fitness competitor and athlete, and now a business owner who provides online coaching. I am excited to see this business of mine grow and what it becomes. I am also ready to get back on stage next year after some off-season growth and win my PRO card!

CSM: Describe the embodiment of confident and sexy?

ASHLEN: Being confident and sexy is being happy with yourself in your mind. I think mental health is a huge aspect of both. If you are healthy in your mind, you automatically feel confident and sexy. It helps that I have two beautiful children and an amazing husband that continuously support me and make me feel extremely confident. My husband always makes me feel sexy!

CSM: How can you be distinctive in an industry that’s accelerating and competitive?

ASHLEN: There are so many great marketing tools out there that help you stand out, but what helps the most is just being completely honest and trustworthy. If you believe in yourself and the message you are sharing, people are there to listen and learn.

CSM: In terms of career, what does it take to be a good influence?

ASHLEN: Positivity! Most people are engaged and drawn to positive messages. There is also a sense of making yourself vulnerable to the world, especially for women. Women connect through similar life experiences. When I allow myself to be more vulnerable many women reach out and ask for help, they want to connect!

CSM: What valuable lesson can you impart to others especially the next generation?

ASHLEN: If you are putting in 100%, make sure to add another 50% because the successful person is putting every ounce of their energy into their success. Also, Rome wasn’t built in a day; remember all good things take time to grow!

INDEPTH PERSONALITY WITH ASHLEN

CSM: How do food and nutrition play an important role in healthy living?

ASHLEN: Humans are connected to food in a way that they don’t realize. Everything we do, food is usually involved, and it brings us together. Think holiday gatherings and parties. I think this is great as long as we understand that our relationship with food isn’t to completely overindulge. A healthy relationship with food means to know its worth and how it acts as a fuel source and provides nutrients to our bodies. Our bodies are literally a temple for our soul, so why wouldn’t we want to treat it with respect?

CSM: Explain the vital skills which may maintain the consistency of weight or shape.

ASHLEN: Calories in and calories out. Our nutrition drives this! It’s quite simple. If we want to grow, you consume more calories, if we want to cut or lose weight, we cut calories, and if we want to maintain weight our calories should be consistent with the amount we burn.

CSM: What fitness aspirations do you want to achieve?

ASHLEN: I want people to feel good not only physically, but mentally. Mental health is something that is extremely important to me. I personally have experienced severe anxiety and I know that when you eat great and live actively you feel better mentally. I want others to experience that too.

CSM: describe the most essential exercises for losing fat and for gaining weight.

ASHLEN: I will always vote for weightlifting because it’s my jam! But I think this is a trick question because it all comes back to diet. You can practice cardio till your blue in the face, but if your diet is lacking you won’t see change.

CSM: What is the fundamental gym etiquette that people should practice?

ASHLEN: Re-rack your weights!

CSM: Simplify if it’s a good idea to work out when feeling mentally stressed.

ASHLEN: 100%! Personally, exercise is a complete stress reliever. When we exercise our body releases endorphins which send a signal to our brain to “feel positive.”

CSM: Expound why a personal trainer should know all of the medical history of a client.

ASHLEN: A trainer is there to assist clients in reaching client goals. The only way to achieve that is to understand the client in mind, body, and soul! Cliché? No way! Here’s why: Most of the time a client is dealing with way more than just being unhappy with their body. There is history that us trainers need to understand. It goes from existing injuries to prevent you from practicing specific exercises, to helping individuals through mental challenges which will allow us to keep them on track, especially with diet.

CSM: Fact or myth? There is a connection between mental and physical health. Why is that?

ASHLEN: Fact. Exercise: 1. Releases dopamine and serotonin equates to feeling good, positive, and being happy; 2. Exercise helps us to respond to emotional and stress receptors because the physiological systems work closely together, i.e. the whole body communicates (central, nervous and muscular systems).

CSM: What major tips can you provide to those who want to achieve their fitness goals?

ASHLEN: First, ask yourself what it is that you want to change. Is it your body or is it your lifestyle? Usually when people realize it’s the latter, they are truly ready to achieve their goals.

CSM: What are some simple things that people can do, in their day-to-day routine, besides working out, to see results faster?

ASHLEN: Consume more water than you think and prep your meals in advance. If your meals are readily available, you’re less likely to swing through the drive-thru or skip important meals.

A healthy relationship with food means to know its worth and how it acts as a fuel source and provides nutrients to our bodies. Our bodies are literally a temple for our soul, so why wouldn’t we want to treat it with respect?”

CSM: 2020 was dubbed a challenging and surprising year. Simplify how did you show your resiliency?

VICTOR: I reassessed what is meaningful to me, what does count, what should not, and worked on the aspects of my life I could change. I also fully worked on the concept of letting things go. Before 2020, I thought controlling all aspects of my life would make me a happier or better person, but as a result I ended trapped in my own thoughts and was out of the present moment. 2020 helped a lot to work on being more present and grounded.

CSM: What are the ways to take action in the face of uncertainty?

VICTOR: To answer this question, you have to ask yourself “on what do I really have hands on?”. For the rest, once you have identified those things you have the power to change, focus on the good ones. For example, you are responsible for you own well being and you definitely can take actions in this area, even if everything around you seems chaotic, not comfortable or unusual. It’s your choice to take actions or not taking any, but don’t blame it on the situation.

CSM: In your profession, how do you exude assertiveness and decisiveness?

VICTOR: As a civil engineer, my top priority is to protect the public, and deliver on time, within required quality specifications and budget my projects. I also work in team all the time, making the decision process sometimes heavy and complicated. I exude assertiveness and decisiveness when none of the fundamental constraints above are met, mostly when multifactor problems occur, which means I have to be ahead of schedule and have a vision for the work being done under my watch.

CSM: What groundbreaking goals do you look forward to achieving?

VICTOR: I want to open a design office in the future, to propose great engineering services at a decent cost. I also want to be part or create an LGBTQIA2+ professional association within the construction so we can address our issues, defend our rights and increase our visibility.

CSM: Describe the embodiment of confident and sexy?

VICTOR: Feeling indestructible, no matter what is being told or is happening. Fireworks at every level, your cells vibrate, and you feel in harmony with your entire surrounding.

CSM: How can you be distinctive in an industry that’s accelerating and competitive?

VICTOR: By taking more time to listen to the problems we must solve and proposing more complex and integrated solutions. Using the new design technologies and software to enhance customer and designers experience. Innovating when it’s technically and financially possible.

CSM: In terms of career, what does it take to be a good influence?

VICTOR: To be a good professional influence, I think that you have to correlate what you say with what you do, meaning you have to acknowledge when it’s too much or not enough. Showing power and vulnerability at the same time is not bad, it just reminds people you are Human like them, and that it’s ok to not be at our very best every day, even within the professional sphere of our life.

CSM: What valuable lesson can you impart to others especially the next generation?

VICTOR: Live your life like if every day is unique, beautiful, and necessary. What is happening today was supposed to happen. Do not regret any of your “mistakes”, learn from them, grow with them, talk about them with people that are open to listen to you. Do not waste your time trying to get the approbation of everybody. Learn to love yourself first. Give yourself a break.

PERSONALITY WITH VICTOR

InFitness AND IN HEALTH

CSM: How do food and nutrition play an important role in healthy living?

VICTOR: It’s fundamental for me to stay healthy in the body and mind, to stay alert, and be present for myself and others. That comes with regularity, consistency, and pleasure. Food and nutrition are not about being restrictive for me, but about finding the right balance depending on what life brings you. Adapt or explore.

CSM: Explain the vital skills which may maintain the consistency of weight or shape.

VICTOR: For me, maintaining the consistency of weight or shape is about learning how your body responds to what you eat, how you exercise, and finding the perfect equilibrium to keep it, and eventually grow. Being conscient, observant, realist and consistent would be the vital skills which would help in this area.

CSM: What fitness aspirations do you want to achieve?

VICTOR: I want to age gracefully, be strong and flexible, adaptative and able to perform some nice dance move when I’m on the dancefloor! That’s what I want to achieve as long as I can.

CSM: describe the most essential exercises for losing fat and for gaining weight.

VICTOR: For me it’s running if I want to reduce my body fat. To gain weight, there is nothing better than body weight exercises to build something sustainable and in harmony with your natural body. It’s not rocket science; it comes with time and work.

CSM: What is the fundamental gym etiquette that people should practice?

VICTOR: Act like if it was your own equipment and place.

CSM: Simplify if it’s a good idea to work out when feeling mentally stressed.

VICTOR: For me, it’s a go to when I’m feeling mentally stressed to work out. It helps me reconnecting with my body and sometimes realign things when I’m overwhelmed. No doubt it’s a good idea to sweat the stress out!

CSM: Expound why a personal trainer should know all of the medical history of a client.

VICTOR: I don’t think all of the medical history of a client should be known by a personal trainer. Not all the information is important, and they don’t necessarily have the professional abilities to analyze this information within their field of expertise. But all information required by them should be divulged, so they can do their best job with you, like injuries patterns, previous accident or mental health condition and traumas.

CSM: Fact or myth? There is a connection between mental and physical health. Why is that?

VICTOR: Fact. I mean, I have the proof every day of my life that if my mental is not good, I won’t feel as good as usual in my body and the inverse is true to me too. Actually, if you think of pain, it’s a good example of how mental and physical health is interconnected.

CSM: What major tips can you provide to those who want to achieve their fitness goals?

VICTOR: Get people of experience around you to show you the basics, and then explore by yourself what drives you the most. A happy mind is a beautiful body to watch. Also, work hard; no pain, no gain is real.

CSM: What are some simple things that people can do, in their day-to-day routine, besides working out, to see results faster?

VICTOR: Garbage in, garbage out. Start eating the way you should to achieve your fitness goals. No more alcohol and drugs too, your body needs its 100% to build muscles and recover from your trainings. Sleep well, hydrate enough, stretch also!

CSM: 2020 was dubbed a challenging and surprising year. Simplify how did you show your resiliency?

ALEXANDRA: 2020 was a difficult year indeed. Although gyms closed and I wasn’t able to teach my usual classes, I tried to support my clients and students via online and outdoor sessions.

CSM: What are the ways to take action in the face of uncertainty?

ALEXANDRA: 2020, the pandemic and all the uncertainty that came with it taught me to go with the flow and trust that all will work out in the end. I love to plan and be organized in life and can put a lot of pressure on myself to always work hard and achieve. 2020 taught me that it is sometimes okay to just let go of all that control and that the simplest things in life are almost always the sweetest (family, friends, nature, and health).

CSM: In your profession, how do you exude assertiveness and decisiveness?

ALEXANDRA: I always try to tailor my approach to the person in front of me. Some people love to be punished and spoken to in a very direct way; others need to be nurtured to move forward. I can be gentle, but I can also give someone a kick up the glutes should they need it!

CSM: What groundbreaking goals do you look forward to achieving?

ALEXANDRA: I have scheduled my first Day Yoga Retreat that I will be running on my own this year! I can’t wait to share a day of movement, meditation and connection with amazing people.

CSM: Describe the embodiment of confident and sexy?

ALEXANDRA: Sex appeal has less to do with size and shape and more to do with attitude. If you’re confident and truly content in your own skin, that is sexy.

CSM: How can you be distinctive in an industry that’s accelerating and competitive?

ALEXANDRA: I honestly just try to be myself. There are a lot of influencers, personal trainers and instructors out there. The only way to stand out and for me to be happy in my job is to honour myself, my body, my knowledge as a physiotherapist and my values.

CSM: In terms of career, what does it take to be a good influence?

ALEXANDRA: I think you definitely need to have a really good knowledge base and always strive to improve yourself through courses and professional development.

CSM: What valuable lesson can you impart to others especially the next generation?

ALEXANDRA: Don’t try to be anyone else. The only way for you to be happy is to be yourself. There is a lot of pressure these days, especially on young girls, to be a certain way and to look a certain way… Seek guidance from adults that you look up to in your life, look for the people on social media that share content with similar values to yourself, and unfollow people that make you feel anything less than uplifted!

INDEPTH PERSONALITY WITH ALEXANDRA

InFitness AND IN HEALTH

CSM: How do food and nutrition play an important role in healthy living?

ALEXANDRA: Nutrition and healthy food is everything. Training is great to help you look good and be healthy too, but you cannot achieve health without eating well. I strive to eat lots of vegetables every day to ensure that my vitamin and mineral intake is optimal and eating vegetables will also ensure that your calorie intake is controlled.

CSM: Explain the vital skills which may maintain the consistency of weight or shape.

ALEXANDRA: Dedication and commitment. You can be as motivated as anyone, but if you’re not dedicated to your results, the gains will be short-lived. Maintaining a consistent weight or shape is truly a never ending job. Sure, once you’ve reached a good baseline that you’re happy with, you will be able to veer off course a bit more than in, say, a shredding phase. But at the end of the day, you have to accept that it’s a life-long commitment to stay healthy and fit.

CSM: What fitness aspirations do you want to achieve?

ALEXANDRA: At the moment, I train for happiness and enjoyment! I train and teach classes to share my love for fitness and wellbeing and my goal is to be as great at inspiring and pushing others to achieve their best as I can be!

CSM: describe the most essential exercises for losing fat and for gaining weight.

ALEXANDRA: For gaining weight, we of course need to do resistance training. Lifting heavy weights will cause our muscles to grow to gain size. If you’re new to the gym, I suggest starting with a full body session 3 times per week, and then doing upper/lower 4 times per week after a couple months… Then, after another month or two, start splitting body parts to ensure maximum recovery and growth between sessions. Compound exercises will always put on more size than isolated ones to begin with. For fat loss a variety of cardio and resistance training will work well. More muscle mass will increase your metabolism, which helps with weight loss. And the added cardio will burn those extra calories in the day (as well as make you fitter). My absolute favourite fat burning exercise is running! Start slow, then build distance with time.

CSM: What is the fundamental gym etiquette that people should practice?

ALEXANDRA: Help each other out! Spot for each other, share machines, have a chat and have a laugh! Complement each other on a good session!

CSM: Simplify if it’s a good idea to work out when feeling mentally stressed.

ALEXANDRA: It’s always a good idea to exercise when stressed because exercise reduces our stress hormone cortisol and increases the happy hormones (endorphins and serotonin).

CSM: Expound why a personal trainer should know all of the medical history of a client.

ALEXANDRA: For the safety of their client!

CSM: Fact or myth? There is a connection between mental and physical health. Why is that?

ALEXANDRA: Fact. The definition of health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence or disease or infirmity. If we’re not physically healthy we cannot be 100% happy, and if we’re mentally unhealthy, this affects our body is many negative ways.

CSM: What major tips can you provide to those who want to achieve their fitness goals?

ALEXANDRA: Get a trainer or a coach to help you out, to keep you accountable and support you along the way! A trainer will also tailor your program to you, ensuring it is safe and supports your goals.

CSM: What are some simple things that people can do, in their day-to-day routine, besides working out, to see results faster?

ALEXANDRA: Take the stairs (not the elevator), park at the furthest car park in the parking lot (this way you have to walk further), stand up at your desk (rather than sitting), take a 10 minute walk in your lunch break, do 5 burpees morning and afternoon at work, get a dog (and walk it)… The opportunities are endless!
