SLOW START Charlton Athletic Women FC has begun the new season slowly with goal scoring proving difficult. However, in their most recent match in the FA Continental Cup, though pitched together with Women’s Super League and full-time professional side Brighton & Hove Albion, the women’s display gives great cause for optimism and hopes of better things to come. Playing in less than ideal conditions, Charlton impressed for the most part, looking confident on the ball and holding their full-time opponents almost until half time, but fitness told in the end as Brighton ran out comfortable 3-0 winners, thanks in part to two second-half penalties.

NEW TRADING STANDARDS ALLIANCE The BiKBBI is delighted to confirm its intentions with a new and exciting partnership with Trading Standards.

BiKBBI Communications officer Nicole Mercer, confirmed this week that the organisation is in the process of becoming a primary authority partner with Trading Standards. The new partnership will see

a closer relationship between the BiKBBI, its members, and consumers in a move that will provide the general public with a greater perception and increased visibility of its members and the organisation as a whole.
