Best Hospitality Venue of the Year 2015 Huntley’s Country Stores LTD. DOWNTOWN IN BUSINESS LANCASHIRE BUSINESS AWARDS, Dunkenhalgh Hotel, 23 July 2015.

Huntley’s Country Stores won the award being voted as Hospitality Venue of the year 2015. Fighting off stiff competition in their category, beating both strong contenders the Derby Arms and the Woodland Spa amongst other nominees. Operations manager Katherine Smith accompanied by Michelle O’Callaghan and Darren Lord attended the prestigious event at the Dunkenhalgh Mecure Hotel to collect the award, which was presented by Ruth Connor the Chief Executive of Marketing Lancashire.

Frank McKenna, chief executive at Downtown in Business, said: “ Congratulations to all the winners and nominees who attended the awards last night. It’s fantastic to celebrate the hard working companies in Lancashire each year and see the level of support they have for each other.

“This year’s LBA has had a great response and is very popular with Lancashire businesses, something we are very proud of here are at Downtown.”

Huntley’s Country Stores LTD, Samlesbury is about to re launch its maze on 1st August, ‘Help the Pirate find his clothes’ through the maze with a free kids activity pack for each child entry. The pirate ship play area is also a recent addition to the ever improving site and Huntley’s is looking forward, hopefully, to a summer of sunshine and extending their hospitality to families far and wide.
