Tra i numerosi personaggi noti e sportivi che hanno legato negli anni il loro nome a Verona e trovato casa nella città scaligera c’è sicuramente anche Federica Pellegrini, campionessa di nuoto, residente a Verona fin da quando poco più che maggiorenne è approdata qui per farsi allenare al centro federale dall’allenatore che l’ha accompagnata e portata ai più grandi successi mondiali e olimpici, Alberto Castagnetti. Le abbiamo chiesto come sogna la casa che qui proprio a Verona diventerà il nido d’amore della sua nuova famiglia, quella che suggellerà con il matrimonio a fine estate a Venezia con Matteo Giunta, l’allenatore che l’ha seguita negli ultimi anni di carriera e con cui è nato l’amore proprio a bordo piscina.

Federica Pellegrini: the queen of swimming who has found a home in Verona We interviewed the swimming champion, not talking about sport (for once), but asking her how her ideal home would look like and how she imagines her future in Verona with her boyfriend Matteo Giunta, with whom she will get married at the end of the summer in Venice. by Agnese Ceschi Among the many well-known sports personalities who have linked their name to Verona over the years and found a home in the city, there is certainly also Federica Pellegrini, swimming champion, resident in Verona since she arrived here when she was a little over 18 years old to train at the federal center by the coach who accompanied her and led her to the greatest world and Olympic successes, Alberto Castagnetti. We asked her how her dream house here in Verona would look like. That house will eventually become the love nest of her new family, the one she will seal with the wedding at the end of the summer in Venice with Matteo Giunta, the coach who has followed her in the last years of career and with which love was born right by the pool.

Come definiresti la tua casa? Direbbero i latini “parva sed apta mihi”. La casa ideale sarà quella che stiamo cercando con Matteo, sempre a Verona. Qual è il tuo stile preferito di “Abitare”? Mi piace una casa calda e piena di oggetti che parlino di me e della mia famiglia. Con la gestione di quattro magnifici cani l’arredamento viene un passo indietro rispetto alla funzionalità. Opterei per un mood elegante, ma allo stesso tempo pratico. Chi si occupa di scegliere l’arredamento a casa? Tu o il tuo futuro marito (ndr. Matteo Giunta) o avete demandato ad un architetto? Veniamo entrambi dallo sport, la cui cultura è che si vince con le persone giuste al posto giusto. Ci piace curiosare, ma alla competenza di un architetto è difficile rinunciare. Che rapporto hai con Verona e come è abitare qui? Verona è la città che mi ha accolto nel 2006, in un periodo molto difficile della mia esistenza. Da quel momento la mia vita è cambiata e qui ho messo le fondamenta di tutte le vittorie che ho ottenuto, ma sono anche cresciuta come persona fra momenti belli e brutti. Ho davvero tanti ricordi che mi legano a Verona: ad esempio mi ha reso molto orgogliosa ricevere le chiavi della città nel 2017, anno in cui ho preso anche la residenza. Amo la dimensione più raccolta di Verona e sono felice di immaginare il mio futuro qui.

Quali sono i tuoi progetti per il futuro? A parte il matrimonio, in programma a fine estate, mi divido fra gli impegni istituzionali come membro della commissione atleti del CIO e quelli legati al mondo dello spettacolo. Mi piace questa doppia dimensione perché mi permette di restare in contatto con il mondo dello sport, che è stato il mio ambiente per 20 anni, ma anche di frequentare un ambito che conosco meno, che ormai ho imparato ad apprezzare. Questo secondo aspetto mi ha portato fuori dalla mia comfort zone consentendomi di esplorare parti della mia personalità che non tutti conoscono. Ti manca il nuoto? Pensi che ritornerai alla tua “Prima Casa" professionale che è la piscina, magari in modo diverso in futuro? Dopo tanti anni, sicuramente è strano non avere più l’appuntamento quotidiano che ha caratterizzato la mia vita da quando ero piccola. Per adesso sto bene così, ho scelto di smettere perché era finito un capitolo della mia vita e non ho grossi rimpianti. Il nuoto farà sempre parte della mia vita, se non altro perché Matteo fa l’allenatore e quindi è inevitabile continuare a frequentare l’ambiente. Sono in pace con me stessa e soprattutto ho tantissimi amici nel mondo del nuoto, quindi sicuramente continuerò a frequentarlo, con il piacere di muovermi in un contesto che conosco bene e che non smetterò mai di amare.

How would you define your home? The Latins would say "parva sed apta mihi". The ideal home will be the one we are looking for with Matteo, in Verona. What is your favorite living style? I like a warm house full of objects that speak to me and my family. With four magnificent dogs, the furniture style takes a step back from functionality. I would opt for an elegant but at the same time practical mood. Who takes care of choosing the furniture at home? You or your future husband (Matteo Giunta) or have you referred to an architect? We both come from sport, whose culture is that you win with the right people in the right place. We like to browse, but the competence of an architect is difficult to give up. What is your relationship with Verona and what is it like to live here? Verona is the city that welcomed me in 2006, in a very difficult period of my existence. Since that moment my life has changed and here I have laid the foundations of all the victories I have achieved, but I have also grown as a person between good and bad times. I have so many memories that bind me to Verona: for example, it made me very proud to receive the keys to the city in 2017, the year in which I also took up residence. I love the more intimate dimension of Verona and I am happy to imagine my future here. What are your plans for the future? Apart from the wedding, scheduled for the end of the summer, I share my time between my institutional commitments as a member of the IOC Athletes Commission and those related to the entertainment world. I like this double dimension because it allows me to keep in touch with the world of sport, which has been my environment for 20 years, but also to attend an area that I know less, which I have now learned to appreciate. This second aspect took me out of my comfort zone allowing me to explore parts of my personality that not everyone knows. Do you miss swimming? Do you think you will return to your professional "First Home" which is the swimming pool, maybe in a different way in the future? After so many years, it is certainly strange not to have the daily appointment that has characterized my life since I was little. For now I'm fine, I chose to quit because a chapter of my life was over and I have no big regrets. Swimming will always be part of my life, if only because Matteo is a coach and therefore it is inevitable to continue to stay in the environment. I am at peace with myself and above all I have many friends in the world of swimming, so I will certainly continue to enjoy it, with the pleasure of moving in a context that I know well and that I will never stop loving.

How do you read the concept of Abitare within the Lunelli Group? If I think of the concept of Abitare within the Lunelli Group, the first thing that comes to mind is Villa Margon, a wonderful sixteenth-century villa,representative seat of the Gruppo, immersed in the vineyards from which the Ferrari Trentodoc is born, which tells us about the taste for beauty and refined living that already existed in Italy five centuries ago. For us today, Abitare means building a place where to create a wine of excellence in terms of space efficiency, where the partners can work in harmony in terms of comfort and wellbeing and finally where we can welcome visitors so that they can discover our values and our wines and live a memorable experience. These three elements must be combined and balanced, all with an increasingly sustainable approach, which led us to reach Carbon Neutrality on the 120th anniversary of Ferrari Trento.

vino è frutto della terra. Parliamo di architettura: avete compiuto da diversi anni delle scelte precise con collaborazioni di grande calibro. Perché è importante l’architettura all’interno delle vostre cantine? Un progetto iconico è la cantina Carapace in Umbria. Qui abbiamo affidato ad uno scultore, e non ad un architetto, la progettazione e la sfida di creare il concept. La prima scultura al mondo all’interno della quale si vive e si lavora. Arnaldo Pomodoro ha ideato il carapace, il guscio di una tartaruga, in quanto simbolo di longevità e di contatto tra cielo e terra. Nell’ottica della ricerca di comfort, bellezza e funzionalità abbiamo recentemente ristrutturato gli uffici di Trento con l’aiuto dell’architetto trentino Monica Armani e con la collaborazione di Michele De Lucchi stiamo studiando un nuovo concept di accoglienza di Ferrari Incontri. Coinvolgiamo architetti e creativi perché pensiamo che il bello - la bellezza estetica e funzionale - ed il buono - ciò che fa bene ed è eticamente corretto - debbano stare assieme.

In terms of sustainability, in Trentino you are particularly virtuous ... When you live in an area with such wonderful nature - and our Trentino is made up of beautiful mountains and vast uncontaminated spaces - you feel even more the duty to preserve it. We who create wines feel it in a particular way, because wine is a fruit of the earth. Let's talk about architecture: for several years you have made precise choices with collaborations of great caliber. Why is architecture important inside your cellars? An iconic project is the Carapace winery in Umbria. Here we have entrusted to a sculptor, and not to an architect, the design and the challenge of creating the concept. The first sculpture in the world in which you live and work. Arnaldo Pomodoro designed the carapace, the shell of a turtle, as a symbol of longevity and contact between heaven and earth. Aiming at comfort, beauty and functionality, we have recently renovated the Trento offices with the help of the Trentino architect Monica Armani and with the collaboration of Michele De Lucchi we are studying a new hospitality concept for Ferrari Incontri.

Accoglienza: che tipo di esperienza offrite ai visitatori che vengono a trovarvi in cantina? Da tempo abbiamo investito nell’ospitalità perché crediamo fortemente nel valore dell’esperienza. Oggi occorre comunicare ai visitatori emozioni e far vivere esperienze. Per questo, ad esempio, a Trento abbiamo costruito un’esperienza articolata che abbiamo chiamato il “Percorso del Bello e del Buono”, in cui i nostri ospiti scoprono come nasce il Ferrari Trentodoc in cantina, visitano i nostri vigneti e Villa Margon e concludono il percorso alla Locanda Margon, ristorante stellato Michelin, dove possono abbinare le nostre bollicine alle creazioni dello chef Edoardo Fumagalli. Hospitality: what kind of experience do you offer to visitors who come to visit you in the cellar? We have long invested in hospitality because we strongly believe in the value of experience. Questo concept, lanciato per la prima volta nel 2006 a Madonna di Campiglio, è oggi di grande successo presso gli aeroporti di Fiumicino, Milano Linate e Milano Malpensa. La nostra vuole essere un’ospitalità a 360 gradi: ci sono tanti altri progetti in cantiere, come il vigneto-giardino sulla collina del Cartizze del brand Bisol1542, o altri già consolidati che continuano, come la collaborazione di Surgiva con il Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta. Come è cambiato il mondo del vino con la pandemia? All’inizio ha spaventato tutti e ha portato uno stop forzato con la chiusura di bar e ristoranti. Poi però i consumatori hanno cambiato il loro stile di consumo, sperimentando il vino a casa in un contesto più intimo, come un momento di gratificazione personale. Se è cambiato lo stile di consumo, la passione per il vino è cresciuta. Oggi, terminate le restrizioni e il distanziamento sociale, le bollicine in particolare sono sempre più richieste perché c’è una grande voglia di convivialità. Inoltre due trend già in atto nel periodo prepandemico hanno subito un’accelerazione: il digitale e la sostenibilità. Oggi per il consumatore è sempre più importante informarsi sul web e sui social media, acquistare il vino online e poter contare su brand che operano in armonia con l’ambiente e con un approccio etico e sostenibile.

DA SETTEMBRE 2022 A VERONA, NELL'EX STAZIONE FRIGORIFERA DEI MERCATI GENERALI, in Via Santa Teresa, aprirà un nuovo punto vendita Eataly. La novità veronese è che il punto vendita, dedicato al food e alla ristorazione, ospiterà anche un museo e mostre per artisti emergenti, l'Eataly Art House, E. ART.H. Verona sarà dunque la prima città del Veneto a far parte della catena, che proporrà 10 mila prodotti di cui 2000 del territorio, tra cui dolci, vini, olio, salumi, formaggi, tortellini di Valeggio, e inoltre si focalizzerà appunto sull'arte. Eataly è una catena di punti vendita di medie e grandi dimensioni di articoli agroalimentari italiani, fondata da Oscar Farinelli nel 2010 ad Alba e presente in diverse città italiane ed estere, per la precisione 41 in 15 paesi del mondo. L'edificio, finito di sistemare e ristrutturare in questi giorni, misura13 mila metri quadrati per un investimento di 60 milioni di euro ed è dotato di standard tecnologici moderni. Al piano superiore verrà ospitata un'area museale con mostre itineranti e culminerà nello spazio della cupola, il cui progetto è stato realizzato dall'architetto Mario Botta.

The novelty is that the store, dedicated to food and catering, will also host a museum and exhibitions for emerging artists, the Eataly Art House, E. ART.H. This is the big news regarding Verona, the first city in the Veneto to be part of the chain, which will offer 10,000 products of which 2,000 from the territory, including sweets, wines, oil, cold cuts, cheeses, tortellini di Valeggio, and will also focus precisely on art. Alla “ghiacciaia” degli anni '30 sarà dedicato un percorso per far conoscere al pubblico la storia locale. Dopo due anni difficili a causa della pandemia, questo è indubbiamente un segnale positivo di rinascita con la possibilità di lavoro per un centinaio di persone. A curare la nuova apertura è Nicola Farinetti, figlio di Oscar, che come il padre crede molto nel connubio cibo ed arte ed ama la città di Verona. Il punto vendita veronese è innovativo in quanto consente di monitorare il consumo energetico. L'inaugurazione è prevista per il 22 settembre 2022 con una personale dell'artista visivo ghanese Ibrahim Mahama a cura di Eva Brioschi e la mostra del fotografo e regista olandese Anton Corbijn a cura di Walter Guadagnini. Le due mostre, che resteranno aperte fino a gennaio 2023, verranno affiancate da conversazioni, workshop e incontri con artisti. Al piano terreno verrà allestito l'Art Market con spazi per accogliere gallerie italiane ed internazionali.

Ma non è tutto. Per sostenere i giovani artisti emergenti è nato il premio E. ART. H. a cura di Matteo Mottin e Ramona Ponzini. Attraverso un open call ogni anno verranno selezionati artisti under 35, non rappresentati da una galleria con una mostra all'attivo, seguendo il tema proposto, che per il 2022 sarà sulla biodiversità. C'è tempo fino al 9 ottobre di quest'anno per partecipare “E.ART.H. si propone l’obiettivo di stimolare conoscenza e cultura presso il grande pubblico applicando i valori di Eataly e di Green Pea – accessibilità, inclusività, responsabilità, condivisione e sostenibilità – alla fruizione delle arti visive”, spiegano gli organizzatori.

Monica, lei è architetto, progettista di interni e designer. Il suo stile è elegante, pulito e morbido. Da cosa trae ispirazione e come ha trovato il suo stile? Innanzitutto posso dire di essere nata nell’architettura. Mio padre è stato uno degli architetti protagonisti del movimento razionalista in Italia e innamorato dell’International Style. Da piccola giocavo tra una poltrona di Bertoia e le sedie di Eames nella nostra villa di famiglia che ha la mia età ed ancora oggi esprime tutta la sua modernità e i valori a cui mi ispiro. Studiare architettura e costruire è stata la prima passione della mia vita. Nei primi 10 anni della mia carriera mi sono dedicata principalmente all’architettura, curando ogni più piccolo dettaglio dei miei progetti.

Monica Armani, the language of design

Per definire il mio lavoro mi piace pensare a una sorta di "equazione dei dettagli" perché nessuno di essi è mai troppo piccolo per non essere considerato. È un approccio articolato ma ritento che sia l'unica strada per creare progetti e oggetti autentici senza tempo. Da questo approccio e dall’incontro con mio marito Luca Dallabetta, che da sempre mi affianca nella mia attività, dedicarmi anche all’industrial design è stato quasi naturale. Siamo stati antesignani, più di 20 anni fa ci siamo autoprodotti creando PROGETTO1, un sistema di tavoli molto articolato che ha avuto una notevole attenzione e che ancora oggi è prodotto da B&B Italia. Penso che il mio stile sia la sintesi di tutte le mie esperienze. La capacità di definire uno spazio o una forma deriva da tutti i sensi e il vissuto ne è sempre parte integrante.

We interviewed her to go deeper into what she does and what she creates by Emily Orlando Monica, you are an architect, interior designer and designer. Your style is elegant, clean and soft. What do you draw inspiration from and how did you find your style? First of all, I was born in architecture. My father was one of the leading architects of the rationalist movement in Italy and was in love with the International Style. As a child I used to play between a Bertoia armchair and Eames chairs in our family villa which is my same age and that still today expresses all the modernity and values that inspire me. Studying architecture and building were the first passions of my life. In the first 10 years of my career, I mainly dedicated myself to architecture, taking care of every little detail of my

projects. To define my work, I like to think of a sort of "equation of details" because none of them are ever too small not to be considered. It is a complex approach but I believe it is the only way to create timeless authentic projects and objects.

Credo che la lente, anche rigorosa della mia prima formazione razionalista, calata nella mia continua osservazione del mondo organico, mi permetta di creare oggetti che sono la sintesi tra armonia, segno preciso, funzione, ricerca tecnologica, mirando al contempo sempre al rifiuto del superfluo. Come è nato l'amore verso il suo lavoro? Sono nate collaborazioni importanti ed il suo nome è noto nel settore. Ha voglia di raccontarci il segreto del suo successo? Spesso penso che il nostro lavoro sia magico, utilizziamo una sorta di linguaggio dei segni che ancor più della parola ci permette di entrare in comunicazione con un mondo senza confini. Mi emoziono ancora oggi, dopo tanti anni, vedendo le espressioni delle persone, provenienti delle più eterogenee parti del mondo, davanti a un mio prodotto. Questo mi dà grande energia e gioia. Credo che il successo arrivi dalla mia grande dedizione e dalla continua ricerca, alimentata da una infinita curiosità.

Questo approccio mi permette un crossover continuo per definire i miei lavori. Ho chiamato questo processo “Design in Molecules”, ispirandomi alla interazione delle molecole che costituiscono il DNA di ogni mio progetto. Penso poi che la coerenza in ogni mia creazione sia un fil-rouge ben espresso e credo che ciò sia riconosciuto dal mio mondo e sia il segreto del mio successo. Prendendo come esempio il tavolo B&B Allure O’ abbinato alla sedia Flair O' notiamo modernità e "morbidezza" delle forme. Come mai la scelta di uno stile più armonioso e meno "spigoloso"? Cosa vorrebbe valorizzare e trasmettere? Nel caso delle nuove collezioni Allure O' e Flair O' tutto è cominciato dalla idea di disegnare un tavolo e delle sedute che fossero anche delle sculture, un segno riconoscibile dentro alla stanza, la cui presenza non passa inosservata, capaci di creare un luogo ma allo stesso tempo oggetti fruibili e conviviali. Ho accennato ai linguaggi sempre in evoluzione per il design che è l’anima, o meglio dovrebbe esserlo, di tutti gli oggetti che l’uomo produce con le sue mani e le macchine che ha inventato per produrli.

From this approach and from the meeting with my husband Luca Dallabetta, who has always supported me in my business, dedicating myself to industrial design was almost a natural process. We were forerunners and more than 20 years ago we self-produced by creating PROGETTO1, a very complex table system that has received considerable attention and which is still produced by B&B Italia today. I think that my style is the synthesis of all my experience. The ability to define a space or a shape comes from all the senses and the experience is always an integral part of it. I believe that the lens, even the rigorous one of my first rationalist training and in my continuous observation of the organic world, allows me to create objects that are the synthesis of harmony, preciseness, function, technological research, while always aiming at the rejection of the superfluous. How was the love for your work born? Important collaborations were made and your name is well known in the sector. Do you want to tell us the secret of your success? I often think that our work is magical, we use a sort of sign language that allows us to enter into communication with a world without borders. I still get excited today, after so many years, seeing the expressions of people, coming from the most heterogeneous parts of the world, in front of one of my products. This gives me great energy and joy. I believe that success comes from my great dedication and continuous research, fueled by an infinite curiosity. This approach allows me a continuous crossover to define my works. I called this process “Design in Molecules”, inspired by the interaction of the molecules that make up the DNA of each of my projects. I also think that consistency in each of my creations is a well-expressed fil-rouge and I believe that is the secret of my success. Dicevo che il design è una sorta di lingua dei segni in continua evoluzione ma per essere autenticamente lasting deve avere un fil-rouge legato a uno stile. Attraverso questo approccio, ispirandomi ad alcune forme degli anni ’60, ho disegnato queste due nuove collezioni. Ho sentito che era il momento di trovare un’espressione che riuscisse a coniugare forme precise con una morbidezza capace di accogliere, forse anche in risposta ai tempi che stiamo vivendo. Si legge che lei è molto attenta all'illuminazione degli ambienti. Quanto conta lo studio della luce per valorizzare le sue creazioni?

pes. Why the choice of a more harmonious and less "edgy" style? What would you like to enhance and convey? In the case of the new Allure O' and Flair O' collections, it all started with the idea of designing a table and chairs that were also sculptures, a recognizable sign inside the room, whose presence does not go unnoticed, capable of making a place but at the same time usable and convivial objects. I mentioned the ever-evolving languages for design which is the soul, or rather should be, of all the objects that humans produce with their hands and the machines they invented to produce them. I was saying that design is a sort of constantly evolving sign language

must always be dimmable to create different scenarios during the day and the seasons that are experienced in a place I created. Or I use the light enclosed in an iconic object as a suspension that promptly becomes the protagonist. You can conclude with a thought / quote that is meaningful to you. "With an infinite curiosity to innovate, the impossible becomes possible, the challenge is always to simplify complexity".

La luce è tutto, per me è al pari di un materiale, forse di più. Cerco di nascondere le sorgenti luminose il più possibile, amo lavorare con la luce indiretta che deve essere sempre dimmerabile per creare scenari diversi durante la giornata e le stagioni che si vivono in un luogo da me creato. Oppure utilizzo la luce racchiusa in un oggetto iconico come una sospensione che diventa puntualmente protagonista. Può concludere con un pensiero/citazione per lei significativo. “Con un’infinita curiosità di innovare, l’impossibile diventa possibile, la sfida è sempre quella di semplificare la complessità”.

Per l’irrigazione del centro sono presenti vasche di raccolta di acqua piovana, in ottica di pieno utilizzo di tutte le risorse con il minor impatto ambientale possibile. Platys Center in numeri Oltre 50mila mq di superficie complessiva, 4 campi da padel coperti e climatizzati con pareti semovibili che ne consentono l’utilizzo tutto l’anno, 3 campi da beach volley di cui due coperti, climatizzati e con sabbia riscaldata (quindi aperti tutto l’anno), 1 campo da calcetto e una struttura sportiva polivalente di 800 mq ca. Una laguna di 1300 mq che digrada dolcemente fino a toccare 1,80 m di profondità, perfetta per relax, nuoto e divertimento.

A corollario anche la baby laguna di 300 mq con una profondità che permette ai più piccoli di giocare in sicurezza. Completano la struttura un’area parcheggio con oltre 150 posti auto. Platys crea fino a circa 50 posti di lavoro nel periodo di alta stagione. “Anima" è il nome del lounge-bistrot dedicato alla ristorazione, che aprirà a settembre, con un terrazzo di ca. 300 mq, una zona per gustare prelibati piatti e un’area polifunzionale, disponibile per incontri, eventi aziendali, occasioni festive. All’interno, un’idea di ristorazione del territorio, con i prodotti coltivati all’interno del centro stesso, ma anche con eccellenze locali da valorizzare. It all came to be from the coming together of two entrepreneurs, Filippo Ghezzer and Stefano Magrini, who shared a dream: to create a place that represents a new concept of the relationship between man and the environment. The name “Platys” has a double reason: from the Greek πλατυς (platys), large, broad, and from the numerous secular plane trees that enrich the area. Shady and majestic plane trees that create a natural amphitheater and a green boundary as to contain the park. The "Zero Energy, Zero Emissions and Zero Waste" buildings, thanks to very low consumption and state-of-the-art photovoltaic fields, produce more energy than they consume, configuring themselves as a small energy plant. For the irrigation of the center there are rainwater collection tanks, with a view to full use of all resources with the lowest possible environmental impact. Platys Center in numbers Over 50 thousand square meters of surface area, 4 covered and air-conditioned padel courts with movable walls that allow them to be used all year round, 3 beach volleyball courts, two of which are covered, air-conditioned and with heated sand (therefore open all year round), 1 soccer field and a multipurpose sports facility of approx. 800 square meters. La scelta è ricaduta su di un’essenza di palissandro con venature orizzontali, prestando particolare cura alla continuità delle stesse sui diversi pannelli che compongono i lati. La pannellatura in essenza nasconde il passaggio dalla zona living al retro della cucina, mimetizzando così la parte operativa alla vista dell’open space. La cappa scelta funge da meccanismo aspirante e da corpo illuminante. IL MASTERPLAN PREVEDE 18 PROGETTI, DI CUI 5 COMPLETAMENTE DEDICATI A LA VALLE DEI MULINI

L TERRITORIO DI COSTERMANO SUL GARDA è stato caratterizzato negli ultimi anni da una continua evoluzione sotto tutti i punti di vista, ambientale, sociale ed economico. L'amministrazione Passarini dal suo esordio, ha infatti scelto di cambiare il modello economico comunale passando da un'economia artigianale-industriale preesistente ad un'economia turistica improntata sul verde. E a continuazione ed integrazione del progetto di sviluppo territoriale iniziato nel 2017 con "Costermano Sul Garda Eccellenza Ambientale" l'amministrazione ha dato avvio a nuove progettualità con un masterplan denominato "Costermano Sul Garda - 2025 - Outdoor Paradise": 18 progetti ambientali, su aree di proprietà comunali (300 ettari circa), che toccano il capoluogo, tutte le frazioni e le località con l'obiettivo di connetterli tra loro attraverso chilometri di percorsi pedonali, ciclabili, ciclopedonali ed aree-spazi verdi comunali, con lo scopo di generare un'economia territoriale propria legata all'ambiente. Tra i 18 progetti, tra cui il Parco dell'Amicizia dei Popoli, Parco dello Sport, Costermano Nature Lab, 5 andranno a costituire "Il Parco della Valle dei Mulini”. La Valle dei Mulini, date le peculiarità paesaggistiche e culturali che la caratterizzano, rappresenta infatti una parte di territorio strategica per lo sviluppo delle tre vocazioni individuate dal masterplan: accoglienza, esperienza-scoperta, e ospitalità, fungendo quindi da cuore pulsante della progettazione. Per finanziare i progetti, la maggior parte dei soldi verrà recuperata dai fondi messi a disposizione dai bandi della Comunità Europea che il Recovery Fund ha destinato per l'Italia. Economia forte, tutela e valorizzazione dell'ambiente, sviluppo di un'economia e di un turismo green, sostenibilità economica, offerta occupazionale, riqualificazione e qualificazione, sicurezza, accoglienza, attrattività, ospitalità, competitività territoriale, benessere sono solo alcuni degli obiettivi del progetto.

IL 17 GIUGNO ha preso il via l’edizione numero 99 del più popolare Festival d’Opera al mondo, in un’Arena finalmente restituita ai suoi allestimenti unici che richiamano ogni sera un pubblico di oltre 13.000 spettatori, sempre più ricca dei maggiori artisti del panorama internazionale sul palcoscenico. Marco Armiliato è il Direttore Musicale del Festival 2022. La 99° edizione del Festival vedrà salire sul podio dell’immenso golfo mistico areniano per 24 serate uno dei maestri più amati dal pubblico dell’Arena di Verona. Il 99° Arena di Verona Opera Festival 2022 prende il via con i due titoli più rappresentati nella storia del Festival, Carmen di Bizet e Aida di Verdi, entrambi con la firma di Franco Zeffirelli. Come è noto, il Maestro fiorentino, in occasione dei diversi riallestimenti del suo spettacolo succedutisi nel corso degli anni, aveva apportato diverse sostanziali modifiche culminate nella nuova versione del 2009. Oggi, grazie alle nuove competenze scenotecniche acquisite e sulla base delle osservazioni del Maestro raccolte dai suoi storici collaboratori, è possibile fare una sintesi definitiva del pensiero di Franco Zeffirelli sulla sua personale concezione di Carmen in Arena. Seguendo i primi bozzetti senza cesure o limitazioni, integrati con le migliori novità che lo stesso Zeffirelli ha introdotto nelle edizioni successive, sommando il meglio delle diverse intuizioni del Maestro, si darà vita ad un’esperienza visiva inedita e definitiva, sotto la direzione musicale di Marco Armiliato e impreziosita da un cast d’eccezione in cui vale fra i tanti ricordare i debutti, come protagoniste, di Clémentine Margaine, J’Nai Bridges, Elina Garanča e Yulia Matochkina, affiancate dai Don Josè di Brian Jagde, Roberto Alagna e Vittorio Grigolo.

The 2022 Festival kicks off with the two most representative titles in its history, Carmen by Bizet and Aida by Verdi, both signed by Franco Zeffirelli. Carmen, the opening title and debut of Zeffirelli in the amphitheater in 1995, will be presented to the public as no one has ever seen it. As it is well known, the Florentine Maestro, is his various rearrangements of his show, had made several substantial changes culminating in a new version of 2009. Today, thanks to new scenography skills and on the basis of the thoughts of the Maestro collected from his historical collaborators, it was possible to create a show that is loyal his own vision on Carmen in the Arena. By following the instructions of the first sketches, with no limitations, and by integrating them with the innovations that Zeffirelli himself introduced, an unprecedented and visual experience was brought to life, under the musical direction of Marco Armiliato and embellished by an exceptional cast: Clémentine Margaine, J'Nai Bridges, Elina Garanča and Yulia Matochkina, alongside by Brian Jagde, Roberto Alagna and Vittorio Grigolo.

TORNANO I BIG CON 54 SERATE E 17 SPETTACOLI INEDITI IN PRIMA NAZIONALE, IDEATI PER IL FESTIVAL

ESTATE TEATRALE VERONESE, realizzata dal Comune di Verona in collaborazione con Arteven, con il sostegno della Regione Veneto e di Agsm-Aim, si conferma uno dei festival multiculturali più apprezzato a livello nazionale. Al Teatro Romano, sede storica del festival, si affiancheranno quest’anno Forte Gisella, Camploy e Terrazza di Giulietta, per un totale di 54 serate. Lo slogan della rassegna, ‘Semina un nuovo inizio’, sottolinea il ritorno della platea nella sua configurazione tradizionale e una programmazione che riprende dal punto in cui si era fermata prima della pandemia, riportando artisti che hanno fatto la storia del festival. Prosa La programmazione dedicata al teatro sarà suddivisa in due sezioni, il Festival Shakespeariano, nucleo centrale del festival, e Settembre Classico. L’inaugurazione è stata venerdì 1 e sabato 2 luglio, con “Il mercante di Venezia” interpretato da Franco Branciaroli. Il 7 e 8 luglio è invece il turno di Alessandro Preziosi, protagonista di “Il mio cuore è con Cesare”. Si continua poi con “R+G”, lunedì 11 luglio, riscrittura contemporanea con dj set della celebre tragedia di Romeo e Giulietta, firmata da Tommaso Fermariello e diretta da Stefano Cordella. Il 15 e 16 luglio, invece, Marco Paolini sarà in “Boomers (titolo provvisorio)”. Il programma si sposterà, poi, sulla Terrazza di Giulietta al Teatro Nuovo, dal 19 al 26 luglio, con “Racconto d'inverno” di Piermario Vescovo, una fiaba per adulti. Al Camploy, invece, le compagnie internazionali, dalla Malesia all’Ucraina, rivedranno il Bardo per il Fringe Festival. Dall’1 al 3 settembre, debutterà, in prima nazionale, "Iliade" curata da Alessandro Baricco con protagonista Natalino Balasso per la regia di Alberto Rizzi. Infine, il 14 e 15 settembre sarà la volta di “Ifigenia in Tauride” con la regia di Jacopo Gassmann e con Anna Della Rosa e Ivan Alovisio, insieme al ritorno del Teatro Greco di Siracusa.

Estate Teatrale Veronese Sowing a new beginning

The Estate Teatrale Veronese, organized by the Municipality of Verona in collaboration with Arteven, with the support of the Veneto Region and Agsm-Aim, is confirmed as one of the most popular multicultural festivals at national level. The Roman Theater, the historic site of the festival, will be joined this year by Forte Gisella, Camploy Theater and Juliet's Terrace, for a total of 54 evenings. The festival's slogan, 'Sow a new beginning', underlines the return of the audience to its traditional configuration and a program that picks up where it stopped before the pandemic, bringing back artists who made the history of the festival.

Classico. The inauguration was on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July, with “The merchant of Venice” interpreted by Franco Branciaroli. On 7 and 8 July it is the turn of Alessandro Preziosi, protagonist of “My heart is with Cesare”. It then continues with “R + G”, Monday 11 July, a contemporary rewriting with DJ set of the famous tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, created by Tommaso Fermariello and directed by Stefano Cordella. On 15 and 16 July, however, Marco Paolini will be in “Boomers (working title)”. The program will then move to Juliet's Terrace at the Teatro Nuovo, from 19 to 26 July, with Piermario Vescovo's “Winter's Tale”, a fairy tale for adults. At Camploy, on the other hand, international companies, from Malaysia to Ukraine, will participate in the Fringe Festival. From 1 to 3 September, “Iliade”, curated by Alessandro Baricco starring Natalino Balasso and directed by Alberto Rizzi, will debut in its national premiere. Inizia Eleonora Abbagnato assieme alla figlia, martedì 19 e venerdì 22 luglio, con “Giulietta”, una serata ideata appositamente per il festival, con le partiture di Ciajkovskij, Berlioz e Prokofiev eseguite dal vivo. Festival della Bellezza 2022 IL “FESTIVAL DELLA BELLEZZA – I MAESTRI DELLO SPIRITO”, GIUNTO ORMAI ALLA IX EDIZIONE, SI SVOLGE NEI LUOGHI PIÙ PRESTIGIOSI ED AFFASCINANTI DA UN PUNTO DI VISTA ARTISTICO ED ARCHEOLOGICO DELLA NOSTRA PENISOLA

TEMA DI QUEST'ANNO è “Miti e tabù. Personaggi e opere iconiche tra idee e simboli” nello scenario dell'Italia tra gli anni '50 e '80. Complessivamente 35 appuntamenti, fino al 22 ottobre 2022 in luoghi prestigiosi del patrimonio artistico da nord a sud (Veneto, Lombardia, Toscana, Liguria, Lazio e Sicilia). Il luogo principale degli eventi è però il Teatro Romano di Verona, che ospiterà 14 incontri; e poi Villa Guarienti di Brenzone a Garda, nelle ville storiche della Valpolicella come la Mosconi Bertani e la Guerrieri Rizzardi, sul Lago di Garda all'Isola, alle Grotte di Catullo di Sirmione e al Vittoriale, a Venezia, al Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza, al palazzo della Ragione di Padova, a Mantova, fino ad Erice. Ospiti illustri si alternano con una serie di proposte accattivanti, serie e divertenti, in città d'arte, templi antichi, teatri e spettacoli naturali mozzafiato, come il Lago di Garda. L’Accademia Filarmonica di Verona rimette la musica al centro SI RIPARTE CON ENTUSIASMO PER INVESTIRE SUL PRESENTE E SUL FUTURO, CON LA CERTEZZA CHE IL RITO DEL CONCERTO SEMPRE SI RINNOVA

l Festival “Settembre dell’Accademia” è un investimento che frutta, da ormai numerosi anni, in termini culturali ed estetici attraverso programmi dedicati principalmente alla grande tradizione sinfonica: lo spirito che anima anche questa 31esima edizione nasce da una credibilità internazionale conquistata grazie alla continuità e alla costante presenza di orchestre di altissimo livello. Il festival si sviluppa in 8 concerti nell’arco di quasi un mese, dal 7 settembre al 3 ottobre. L’inaugurazione è affidata alla Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, mercoledì 7 settembre, l’orchestra della metropoli tedesca che ha la stessa età della radio, essendo nata nel 1923. Dirige il dinamicissimo Vladimir Jurowski, che presenta a Verona la sinfonia più amata di Gustav Mahler. la Sinfonia n. 5, opera di grande seduzione sonora, tra tragiche marce funebri, Scherzi laceranti e incontaminati lirismi. Il brano d’apertura che introduce la giovane violinista Vilde Frang, è una rarità: il Concerto per violino n. 1 di Béla Bartók. La giapponese Sayaka Shoji interpreterà il Concerto n. 2 di Sergej Prokof’ev. Poi Sibelius (Sinfonia n. 2) diretto da Santtu-Matias Rouvali, il nuovo giovane direttore finlandese della Philharmonia. Per lunedì 19 settembre l’Accademia ha invitato in recital uno dei grandi pianisti del nostro tempo, Mikhail Pletnev. Il pianista da diversi anni centellina le sue esibizioni ma ogni volta che torna sul palcoscenico è un avvenimento. I suoi programmi non sono mai scontati, come questo che alterna musiche dell’ultimo periodo di Brahms a quelle meno note di Dvořák. Un altro modo originale di comporre un programma viene senz’altro da Leif Ove Andsnes, il pianista direttore che, alla testa della Mahler Chamber Orchestra, giovedì 22 settembre si dedica all’esecuzione di musiche composte in un solo anno da Mozart, il 1786. In quell’anno di grandissimi risultati creativi ascolteremo i Concerti per pianoforte n. 22 K. 482 e n. 24 K. 491, e al centro della serata la Sinfonia n. 38 “Praga”. La Barcelona Gipsy balkan Orchestra ci porta per una sera fuori dalle rotte classiche, pre-

sentando lunedì 26 settembre il patrimonio musicale gitano, klezmer, bosniaco, serbo, albanese, rumeno, russo e ottomano. Brani che parlano d’amore e libertà, canzoni contro la guerra e canti rivoluzionari. Si potrebbe intitolare “La metamorfosi dell’eroe” il programma dell’Orchestra Mozart diretta da Daniele Gatti venerdì 30 settembre: con la Sinfonia n. 3 “Eroica” di Beethoven, ispirata al Bonaparte e Metamorphosen di Richard Strauss, una elegia in cui affiora nostalgicamente il tema della marcia funebre dell’Eroica. La chiusura del festival è affidata a Jordi Savall, il direttore catalano che alle soglie degli ottanta anni rivisita il repertorio sinfonico classico con il suo gruppo con strumenti originali Le Concert des Nations. Savall dirige lunedì 3 ottobre i due capolavori sinfonici di Franz Schubert, la Sinfonia n. 8 “Incompiuta” e le Sinfonia n. 9 “La Grande”. Due opere oggi celebri, amatissime, ma che il musicista non ebbe mai occasione di sentire eseguite in vita.

The opening piece, which will introduce the young violinist Vilde Frang, is a rare pearl: the Violin Concerto no. 1 by Béla Bartók. On 12 September, it will be the turn of the British, with one of the most representative teams across the Channel, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, with which its principal conductor and violin star Joshua Bell will present an intense program, with the Ouverture Egmont and Symphony No. 7 by Beethoven, that delimit the torrential Concerto for violin by Tchaikovsky.The violin will again be the protagonist on Thursday 15 September at the opening of the London Philharmonia concert. The Barcelona Gipsy balkan Orchestra will then us to undiscovered paths, presenting on Monday 26 September the Gypsy, Klezmer, Bosnian, Serbian, Albanian, Romanian, Russian and Ottoman musical heritag. Songs that speak of love and freedom, anti-war and revolutionary songs. The program of the Mozart Orchestra conducted by Daniele Gatti on Friday 30 September could be entitled "The metamorphosis of the hero": it will include the Symphony no. 3 "Eroica" by Beethoven, inspired by Richard Strauss's Bonaparte and Metamorphosen, an elegy in which the theme of the funeral march of the Eroica emerges nostalgically. Marmomac, the main international fair dedicated to marble and natural stone scheduled from 27 to 30 September 2022 at Veronafiere, doubles down on its focus on business and culture by presenting a rich program of initiatives aimed at professionals, architects and designers to explore new languages and projects related to stone material. The beating heart of the fair will be The Plus Theater, an area that will be animated by talks, lectures and workshops dedicated to natural stone during the event. Here there will also be the vip lounge, the restaurant, the wine bar and the five cultural exhibitions that will welcome exhibitors and visitors to tell about natural stone and its uses through a path that ideally connects the entire production cycle, from the block to the final product. Design and architecture, art and university experimentation up to the involvement of important furniture brands: the common thread will be a varied but homogeneous reading of how natural stone lends itself to a more or less complex use in different sectors and what may be its future developments. Il percorso espositivo della sezione Preistoria e Protostoria, anche grazie a ricostruzioni fisiche e virtuali, video e altri mezzi di comunicazione multimediale, narra le principali componenti storiche del veronese in un arco cronologico compreso tra oltre 100.000 anni fa e il 100 a.C. Predisposto con la collaborazione dell’Università di Ferrara, dell’Università di Trento e della Soprintendenza SABAP di Verona, il percorso si articola in una serie di sottosezioni dedicate ai principali siti preistorici e protostorici, dal Paleolitico (rappresentato dalla famosa pietra dipinta, nota come lo "Sciamano", considerato tra le più antiche rappresentazioni umane sino ad oggi note al mondo, proveniente dalla Grotta di Fumane), passando attraverso il Neolitico e l'età del Rame, fino all’età del Bronzo, con l'esposizione dei materiali provenienti dai siti palafitticoli inseriti nella lista UNESCO del veronese, e all'età del Ferro. Il Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Verona è aperto al pubblico nei giorni di venerdì, sabato e domenica dalle 10 alle 18.

In mostra si è potuto eccezionalmente ricreare l’ambiente programmato da Canova in palazzo Papafava, dove il confronto Antico/Moderno è portato alla sua massima essenza: “Apollo del Belvedere” a confronto con il “Perseo trionfante”, e il “Gladiatore Borghese”, altra opera celeberrima, a confronto con il “Creugante”. Queste solo alcune delle opere di un percorso ricco di oltre 150 capolavori, sviluppato in 11 sezioni.
