C’è uno che riempie di urla l’aria e un altro nell’automobile a fianco che lo indica. I taxisti si fermano e lo guardano, i clienti, chiusi dentro, protestano. Potrebbe esserci il mare ma non c’è, così nessuno può fare le equazioni. Devono tornare a casa e basta, in modo o nell’altro.

There is one filling the air with screams, and another one, sitting in the car beside and pointing at him. The taxi drivers have stopped and look at him, the customers, locked inside, are protesting. There could be the sea, but it is not, so nobody can do the equations. They only have to go home and that’s it, one way or another.

Essendo tutto alla rovescia se tendi la corda si allenta di conseguenza se guardi da lontano si avvicina e viceversa naturalmente così camminare diventa indietreggiare mangiare avere sete e bere avere voglia di camminare un circuito di inizi dove i parenti sono immobilizzati ma le corde si spezzano a un tratto senza troppo rumore e soprattutto senza riguardi magari senza più albe tramonti e ora del tè.

Since everything is backwards if you tighten the rope it comes undone consequently if you look from afar it comes closer and vice versa naturally this way walking turns into falling back eating being thirsty and drinking wishing to walk a circuit of beginnings where relatives are immobilised but the ropes are breaking suddenly without too much noise and above all heedlessly perhaps even with no more dawns, sunsets and teatimes.

Prendi la lampadina ancora accesa ed esplora la casa. Telefonami e dimmi se ancora c’è dentro tutta la noia in cui hanno vissuto. È importante: sarebbe la loro unica eredità. Se c’è, non scacciarla, la noia, erano fatti così. E questo è un fatto. Se no chiudi la porta e non scordarti mai.
