Brandts Museum of Art & Visual Culture is Denmark’s first museum of art and visual culture. HISTORY
Brandts Klædefabrik tog sin begyndelse i midten af 1700-tallet som et mindre farveri til senere at blive en hel bydel med store vævesale og spinderier. Efter fabrikkens lukning i 1977 har området udviklet sig og huser nu biograf, teatre, museer, værksteder, musiksteder, diskoteker, caféer og butikker.

Brandts Klædefabrik was established in the 1700s. It was only a small dye factory then, which over time expanded into its own characterized town area with large textile production. After closing of the textile factory in 1977, the area was developed and is now housing cinemas, theaters, museums, workshops, music places, night clubs, cafés and stores.
Brandts Klædefabrik is without a doubt the liveliest cultural place in Odense. Get inspired by contemporary art and culture, discover the local history, enjoy some of the intimate concerts or niche movies. You will love the unique and authentic atmosphere here.
Brandts Klædefabrik can be accessed from the pedestrian zone and is located 10 min. walk from the railway station. If you arrive in a car, you can park in the underground car park in Pantheonsgade 27.
