Month in Review IN CASE YO U M I SSE D I T Please join me in welcoming our APM, Superintendent, and Summer Interns to the team! Isabell Shoptaw (right) is joining us as an Assistant Project Manager reporting to David Piraino. Isabell just graduated from Virginia Tech in May with a degree in Real Estate and Smart & Sustainable Cities. She interned at Century 21 and The Genau Group Realty during college and decided that she would love to work in the Commercial Real Estate Industry. Fun Fact: Isabell lives in a historic home in Old Town Alexandria that has an arc in the basement where the underground railroad went through. Matthew Powell is a Superintendent joining us from HBW. Matt is OSHA 30 certified and has twenty years of experience specializing in commercial interiors with a focus on SCIF, Healthcare and Federal projects. Fun Fact: Matt is a Master Gardener and loves to fly fish. Erica Chen is an upcoming Senior at Virginia Tech. She is majoring in Finance and Real Estate (RELF program). Erica will be interning on our Pinnacle project with Frank Gordy. She will be mentored by Abbey Zacharias this summer. Fun Facts: Erica’s favorite classes this year were Real Estate Finance and Corporate Finance. This summer she is looking forward to learning different skills and networking. Griffin Boag is an upcoming Senior at James Madison University. He is majoring in Intelligence Analysis and minoring in General Business. Griffin will begin his internship on Peraton Reston with Linwood Kirby. He will also intern on our Visitation project with Bobby Holmes and Chris Roche. He will be mentored by an APM on each team this summer – Will Colclough & Quinn Cox. Fun Facts: Griffin enjoys playing sports with his siblings. He has 2 younger brothers and a younger sister. KMN Mechanical KMN sponsored a happy hour at Patsy’s for Bognet. Thank you to those who attended. If you were able to attend or you work with anyone from KMN, please send them a quick thank you!

JDRF Real Estate Games!

Volleyball team goes the Extra Mile! Shout-out to Alex Narrow, Tim French, Will Colclough, Patrick Nguyen, Erica Chen, Summer Williams, Abbey Zacharias and Isabell Shoptaw. The team got 2nd place overall in the Volleyball tournament! A Day of Fun! Our team was thrilled to be back at AU for a little friendly competition at the JDRF Games. This year our real estate community was able to raise over $600,000 to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Thank you to all who participated, you are sincerely appreciated!!!

ONGOING - Ronald McDonald House Soda Tab Collection We have started collecting pull tabs in the office! These can come from ANY can — soda, beer, cat food, colored aluminum too! These tabs are recycled and 100% of the money we earn is used to offset the cost of the families are stay at Ronald McDonald house.
