TECH TIPS

EQUIPMENT UPKEEP & MAINTEANCE

W hy is this Important?

Like people, equipment that is cared for properly typically has a longer lifespan.

1

Power Down

Be sure to power off and unplug machine when not in use daily. Your equipment needs to regular rest too.

2

Purge your System of Junk

Computers tend to show their age best in the number of unused files living on the hard drive - please regularly empty your downloads folder and recycle bin to get rid of unused junk.

3

Keep it Clean

Food crumbs, dog hair, dust, and debris can clog your laptop and keyboard resulting in sticky, difficult-to-press buttons and shortened internal hardware lifespan.

Eat/Drink with Caution

Excercise caution when eating and/or drinking around your electronic equipment. Liquid and food debris can cause a system motherboard to die in a matter of seconds.

5

Update Regularly

Please be sure to regularly restart your computer to allow pending updates to install. Update computer restart prompts often appear while we’re in the middle of important and time-sensitive tasks so be sure to make a note to restart your computer later in the day or before you leave the office.

Please contact Summer to borrow the rechargeable "canned air" machine or Amy for sanitizing wipes.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

“We had a good walkthrough with the Executive Staff today. They were all really impressed with the quality of work that was done and how far it has come in such little time.”

“I wanted to share my appreciation for your Project Superintendent, Steve Hernandez, as well as the entire Bognet team that worked hard to keep us on schedule while delivering a beautiful space! On each visit, I found Steve to be extremely well organized, thorough, capable, personable—and above all, helpful. He was always willing to coordinate with our vendors to keep the overall project moving forward—thereby greatly reducing my stress and required time commitment. His efforts were truly invaluable--and his attitude in getting things done to my satisfaction was unparalleled. I also have great appreciation for our PM and APM, Brian Shaver and Will Colclough.”
