CLIENT FEEDBACK
Pinnacle Financial Partners
Team: Carlo Stalteri, Teddy Harvey, Devin Morrow, Abbey Zacharias, Will Colclough
"Carlo and Teddy, Good afternoon! Now that we see the finish line for the branch construction, some of us wanted to take a moment to say how much we truly appreciate Devin. He has been a great partner to the Pinnacle Team. Devin is responsive, professional, and a joy to work with. He takes his work seriously and we can see the excellent results of his leadership. He even rescued us when construction debris from another company came through the ceiling in our suite. I’m pretty sure Amira will be adding her endorsements as well! We hope that you will consider utilizing his talents for the additional build out on the 6th floor as Ken Ayers and I will probably be interfacing with him often and we work well with him. "

National 4H
Team: Carlo Stalteri, Jason Moon, Josh Mason, & Robert Engermann
"Carlo – wanted to drop a quick note on Jason as I’ve been impressed with the dedication we’re seeing onsite out at 4H (in addition to staying on top of his office duties). I am sure Josh has kept you informed on the challenges we’ve encountered on this project, but throughout it all Jason has been on top of it. Yesterday in particular, Jason covered the site as super because Robert had an emergency pop up. Despite starting his day at 4am, Jason stayed onsite past 4pm to ensure we were properly represented in a walk with the chief engineer to discuss and document some HVAC issues we are working through with the base building system. That kind of grit doesn’t go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated."

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
David Piraino leads a team of project managers that have recently worked with some of the region’s most notable organizations including Nestle, ID.ME, and Raytheon. He offers deep expertise to navigate the complexities of construction and has an intentional approach to servicing customers. David prides himself on fostering collaboration with all project team members from preconstruction through closeout to engineer win-win solution s.
Recently appointed to the Executive Team, David Piraino embodies the qualities and entrepreneurial spirit of Bognet that make our firm unique. We sat down with David to learn more about the early years of his career and his new role as Project Executive.
What is your professional background? How did you land in the industry?
DP: I studied architecture and planning at The Catholic University of America for my Bachelors of Science as well as for my Masters of Architecture with a focus on Real Estate Development. I subsequently became interested in commercial construction and devel -
opment and decided to apply my knowledge of design to the built environment. I worked with a construction management firm and an architecture firm before joining Bognet in 2014.
What is your specialty at Bognet? What are you most passionate about?
DP: I specialize in applying my expertise and experience to help our clients and architects achieve their design intent and implement their vision for each project while guiding them through the often-complex elements of the construction process. I am passionate about all aspects of construction but espe -

What is one project you are most proud of and why?
DP: Hausfeld LLP – This was a 2-story law office located in downtown D.C., adjacent to the White House. The project featured a monumental staircase, a high end millwork package and a specialty lighting package. Construction began at the onset of the pandemic, and we experienced unprece -
WHAT DOES DAVID'S TEAM HAVE TO SAY?
How would you describe David’s work style?
Dave is one of the most hard-working and determined mentors I have had at Bognet. He is always proactive, looking out for the client’s best interests, and constantly looking for ways to continue to improve. He is a no-excuses type of project manager and solutions forward.
How would describe his management style? How does he support you in your projects?
I continue to look up to Dave as my mentor. He is available to listen no matter what he is doing. He is extremely collaborative, understanding, and provides support. He’s willing to join a call with a client, make a site visit, or review projects regardless of his schedule. He consistently finds a way to make time to support his team.
What quality does David bring to projects you both have worked on?
dented challenges, particularly with material delays due to the supply chain crisis. The project was also subject to heavily restricted building access resulting from the protests surrounding the White House during 2020. We overcame these challenges by working closely with our subcontractors to source available materials and by implementing a creative logistics plan for material deliveries. Consequently, we were able to mitigate all procurement issues and deliver a high-quality space to our client on time.
Dave brings two main things I know I can count on him for. The first is a calm demeanor. This is so important because when issues arise, or when multiple roadblocks stack up at once, this job can become quite stressful. Dave manages to put everything into perspective, help me take a step back, and start knocking out the solutions one by one. The second is his immense background knowledge of construction. There’s rarely a situation I have that Dave hasn’t personally experienced. If not, he knows what direction to point me in to find the answer. His overall knowledge about construction is always something I know I can turn to if I need an answer quickly.
