The Bognet Way Buzz
May 2023 Issue
Peraton HQ is complete!
"T hank you for making today a great event for our employees. It was the perfect way for employees to say goodbye to the old building and get excited about its transformation (even it won’t be our home anymore). There are a lot of memories there for a lot of us and your consideration of that is much appreciated.

SAFETY WEEK 2023
We kicked off Construction Safety Week 2023 and celebrated our One Safe Team. Thank you for those who helped with the video project! We want to thank each one of you for working hard alongside subcontractors and vendors to promote best practices, earn certifications, and enforce protocols to maintain a culture of safety excellence and continue to keep our EMR rating below the national average. When we’re connected and supported, we are better able to help ourselves and our teams stay present and focused on the job. We are better able to create a culture and workplace where everyone feels safe. The more we stay connected and committed, the more we can show up fully to support one another. And the more we feel supported, the safer choices we make, and the better work we deliver, leading to safer selves, safer teams, and safer job sites.

SUMMER WELLNESS TIPS
Summer is here and that means more time outdoors and an increase in risk for skin cancer. The good news is that many skin cancer types are easy to prevent, and most can be cured if caught early. Ninety percent of skin cancers occur on the face, neck, and arms. Light-skinned, blue-eyed people are more likely to develop skin cancer. However, dark-skinned people who get skin cancer tend to be diagnosed at a later stage. People of all skin types should protect their skin from too much sun. Check out more education and resources from the CDC - https://www.cdc. gov/cancer/skin/basic_info/sun-safety.htm .
