“ I also wanted to give feedback on your team because they were each outstanding in their own individual ways. Jerry has been such a great leader and partner in this process. He has the best disposition and always had a positive, but realistic outlook of the situation. Alex was very easy to work with and he is a fantastic Project Manager. He kept on top of the deliverables, the meetings, and was responsible for a significant amount of problem-solving. Landon was a great asset to the team. He was always on-site... [h]e was a great member of the team and always seemed to be very prepared and willing to step in when needed. David, I appreciated that you were on-site for several meetings, and I appreciated your input when we were problem-solving. Overall, your team far exceeded my expectations, and it has been a true pleasure working with the group.” Roxanne Murray Vice President for Administration Association of American Universities

DEMO DAY

DEMO WITH HIRSCHLER We had an absolute blast swinging sledgehammers with Hirschler, Savills and FORM in their future Penthouse office in Tysons. Bognet demo day parties are the best way to engage employees as they kick off construction and also have a little #funinthefield. A special thank you to Pat Wightman for leading the demo day! We can’t wait to see the progress and celebrate the completion. Stay tuned.

MISSION FORWARD

Bike to the Beach for Autism Kristopher Car biked 50 miles for austism and disabilites this summer, please consider donating to the cause. Autism is an evolving cause with critical areas where funding can make an impact. Bike to the Beach funds both local service providers and national research and advocacy partners like autism speaks. This balance of individual service and system wide change is important in three areas that are affecting millions of individuals: Early Diagnoses If we can identify and diagnose developmental differences at an early age, the treatments and therapies are much more effective. The Waiver Cliff – There is not currently a path to employment and independent living for many individuals with developmental disabilities after high school. Future Planning –We need realistic solutions for families that won’t always be able to care for their loved ones either in the future or in the case of a hardship. Donate your Old American Flags! James Lovett works as a Volunteer Firefighter for Fairfax County. His fire station is collecting them for the Boy Scouts. Please bring them in for James and they will be properly retired. ONGOING - Ronald McDonald House Soda Tab Collection We have started collecting pull tabs in the office! These can come from ANY can — soda, beer, cat food, colored aluminum too! These tabs are recycled and 100% of the money we earn is used to offset the cost of the families are stay at Ronald McDonald house. If you are personally involved in anything to do with giving back, we would love to hear about it! Send Rosalie or Emma a quick email with a sentence or two description and photo if you have one.
