Time in the Word Time in the Word

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.” John 15:26-27

Jesus is such a loving, promise-keeping Deliverer and Redeemer. As the disciples were hearing of his departure, they were feeling fear, the dread of being without their Captain of the ship of purpose and service they had sailed for over 3 years. He tells them of a great promise that will exceed all of their expectations.

He is going to send to every repentant believing born again person the Helper, Comforter, Teacher, who is the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity…the Holy Spirit! He will be their Standard of Truth. He will inspire them to write the 27 books of the New Testament as He had the 39 books of the Old Testament. He is the sure one because He comes from the Father!

He will bring to remembrance all the many things that Jesus had said and done that the Father wanted recorded in His Word. He will convince the world of sin because their unbelief is the damning sin that is beyond redemption upon one’s passing from the life on Earth. The Holy Spirit will convince the world of righteousness. Jesus is the righteousness of the saved. And the Spirit will convince the world of judgment because their father the Devil was condemned to eternal damnation and so will every unrepentant unbeliever.

“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Revelation 22:20-21

We must bear witness that Jesus is the Father offer of eternal life. All else falls short. Improving our morals, helping others, increasing our giving to those who help the hurting, will not pay for anyone’s sin debt. Jesus paid it all! Receive Him into your life by faith. Christian, we have the Holy Spirit. Greater is He who is in us then he who is in the world. There is no situation, circumstance, or decision that is too hard or too big for our God and Savior Christ Jesus the Lord! He is coming again. The stage is being set and as the curtain goes up at the theater, the Church is going up in the Rapture!

WHAT’S UP WITH THE VINEYARDS

Welcome to our “It’s Personal” page. For so long we’ve had the joy of sharing our highs and lows, praises and prayer requests with you, our dear friends and family. We wanted to stay connected with you because with God, it’s always personal. We hope you enjoy a little of our family connections.

The Vineyards have declared that the year of grief is over and 2025 is the year of restoration. We are believing for restored relationships, ministry opportunities, finances, fathers to sons and mothers to daughters. Won’t you join us? We have already seen a harvest come in financially and that is before we made any public mention of it. The Lord is so good to reward things openly when you have prayed and sown in secret.

Dr. Bob is kicking off a new focus for 2025: Strengthening the Team - Teaching Leaders, Finishing Constructions, Building the Kingdom with New Opportunities. His message is clear. As team leaders, we will stand on our testimony that we are more than overcomers and we can share that encouragement with those we have an appointed ministry time with. See our itinerary at bobvineyard.org.

Luke has been doing well with his return to France. There was, of course, a time of adjustment. With this trip he was completely alone and this is his first real missions experience where relying on the Holy Spirit goes to a whole new level. He is proving that the Holy Spirit is enough to do hard things.

On the homefront, we’re back in sunny Florida, and aside from a couple of hiccups with our cozy rental, we’re thriving! Who would’ve thought 55 degrees could feel like a polar expedition? But boy, this wet cold is no joke—it’s like the weather’s throwing us a chilly surprise party! Now we totally get why folks in Florida are rocking winter coats like it’s a fashion statement! But sunny days are promised to come and we look forward to anyone saying they’d love to come visit. Our door is open to you.

My mom is adjusting to being without dad and is now attending “senior daycare”. And although every day is a new day filled with concern she might not want to go, she usually goes and says she’s enjoyed herself. She has made it clear, she is not looking for a husband. LOL.

Quick notes on the kids. Dustin has spread his professional wings and is branching out in real estate. Who knew? We know he will thrive at whatever he decides to do. Tori and her family got to take a long visit to Egypt and spend time with Sam’s family. Other than picking up covid on the plane, they really enjoyed themselves. Hannah and her kids are surviving the cold Ohio winter and Stella and Ava are continuing the Winland tradition of dominating whatever sport they try. Go Muskies! With Rob in Germany, Luke in France, Tori in Egypt, grandma (me) in Florida, grandpa in Honduras and Dustin in Virginia, Stella was inspired to break out her maps and see the wanderlust that is written all over this family. God is good:-)

Much love, Christy

The Heart of Bob Vineyard Ministries

Dr. Bob Vineyard heeded the call to missions in 1973, having felt the call to preach at the early age of four. With over five decades of different ministry roles, he now dedicates himself entirely to missions.

He firmly believes that the most effective approach to global ministry involves empowering indigenous pastors to impact their communities, fostering a shift towards a Kingdom culture within their own contexts. Through BVM, individuals are provided with basic sustenance like simple meals such as rice and beans and meat if available, which for some serves all too often as their sole meal of the day. This act of compassion opens the door for Dr. Bob to share the Gospel, allowing listeners to embrace faith, undergo baptism, and commence a journey of spiritual growth under the guidance of local pastors.

Dr. Bob expresses deep gratitude for the prayerful support and financial contributions that sustain this vital ministry.

THANKFUL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY

We can never tell you enough how thankful we are for your generosity. It is our prayer, that as God sees your generous spirit, that He knows He can trust you with what He has given to you, and that He will fulfill His promise, that your lives will be overflowing with the Spirit of God and have all of your desires met, and then be an even greater blessing to the Kingdom.
