As Cuba is suffering under unbelievable hardships such as food scarcity, daily electrical blackouts lasting up to 20 hours at times, gasoline shortages, and add to these hardships, the heartbreak of our dear sister and wife of Dr Wilfredo, Dr. Regla has passed on to Heaven. Dr Bob will be in Cuba ministering from March 15-31. Pray for these evangelistic meetings, meals for those in great need, and pastoral and leadership training. BVM needs your prayers and financial support for this trip precious bothers and sisters. The cost of this trip is roughly $7,500.

After the Ministry of Education adding extra demands for the school building and property, it is near completion. Pastor Titus Etiang and Desima his wife and school principal are so happy. They can see the light at the end of this long tunnel. Another $1200 will finish this labor of love. Dr Bob hopes to return soon to this nation where the Holy Spirit is moving mightily. The new church plant in Butere is growing and to God be the glory, the tent is bulging.

Welcome to our “It’s Personal” page. For so long we’ve ng our highs and lows, praises and prayer requests with you, our dear friends and family. We wanted to stay connected with you because with God, it’s always personal. We hope you enjoy a little of our family connections.
What a wonderful time of year it is! Between Thanksgiving and Christmas there’s just always an expectation of hope and joy. Being in a warmer climate during the holidays is definitely a change but we are embracing this one. No hurricanes or winter storms to dampen the spirits. We are sad to report that my dad passed away right before Thanksgiving. While battling cancer, he took a fall and never recovered. Along with other family, I was able to spend the last week with him while he was still able to communicate and spend priceless precious moments together. He had a beautiful service in Virginia. We then took a few days to ourselves in St. Augustine, Florida. A beautiful, historic city if you are ever looking for a place to get away. Luke is preparing for his two-year mission trip to France January 2, 2025. Wrapping up a few more days working to pay for his trip, he is still looking for monthly sponsors. If you can help in anyway financially, we will be happy to get you connected. A life dedicated for Christ. He is excited about this trip. We will be sharing more soon.
I’ve taken on a long-term substitute teaching position as a kindergartent assistant and Bob continues to travel with BVM. Keep us in your prayers. We are still growing accustomed to this new retirement life.

Dr. Bob Vineyard heeded the call to missions in 1973, having felt the call to preach at the early age of four. With over five decades of different ministry roles, he now dedicates himself entirely to missions.
He firmly believes that the most effective approach to global ministry involves empowering indigenous pastors to impact their communities, fostering a shift towards a Kingdom culture within their own contexts. Through BVM, individuals are provided with basic sustenance like simple meals such as rice and beans and meat if available, which for some serves all too often as their sole meal of the day. This act of compassion opens the door for Dr. Bob to share the Gospel, allowing listeners to embrace faith, undergo baptism, and commence a journey of spiritual growth under the guidance of local pastors.
