Monte Vista High School

S
econd semester is in full swing! We are in the New Year, meaning itâs time to get back to our school routine. This time of the year is usually very mellow, with not many events happening at school. Even though nothing special at school is happening, there are many things to look forward to in our lives outside of school. Martin Luther King Jr. Day gave all students a break from our hard work. On this three-day weekend, my family and I went on a fun ski trip together in Tahoe. We skied for three days together, enjoying the wonderful powder and sunny days. I also am a ski instructor in Tahoe, so I had fun hanging out with kids who were excited to hit the slopes. This weekend was a nice refresher before getting back to school. Now itâs time to look forward to Valentineâs Day, a time for spending time with loved ones.
