Well, now that tax season is over, let’s focus on some fun in the sun here in BismarckMandan. We are fortunate to live in an area of North Dakota packed with things to do. Get rid of those winter blues and embrace the warm sunshine that gives us a summer glow. The communities of Bismarck-Mandan provide a wealth of activities, events and history to enjoy during our summer months ahead and to bring tourists to the area.
Hawktree Golf Club, Mandan Municipal Golf Course, Pebble Creek Golf Course, Prairie West Golf Course, Riverwood Golf Course and Tom O’Leary Golf Course provide golfing fun for all ages and abilities. There are miles of trails for runners, hikers and biking enthusiasts to enjoy and test their endurance. If the water is calling you, we have the Mighty Missouri River to go out on a pontoon, fishing boat, jet ski or take a leisurely cruise on the Lewis & Clark Riverboat.
If you are a history buff and want to learn more about our area, we have the Railroad Museum, Ft. Abraham State Park and The Heritage Center. Maybe you want to enjoy some of our local artistic talent by taking in a musical at Sleepy Hollow, a play at Dakota Stage or enjoying some tunes at the Band Shell in Dykshoorn Park. Let’s not forget the interactive learning at the Gateway to Science and the animals at the Dakota Zoo – one of my kids’ favorite places when they were young.
Finally, let’s talk about all the events in our area. People come from all over our region to enjoy Buggies-N-Blues, Art in The Park and the Mandan Rodeo. There is nothing like the Fourth of July in our communities – food, fireworks and endless fun. (It is also my birthday, so there is even more to celebrate!) And, if you still find yourself bored – come out to one of the most fun weekends of the summer – The McQuade’s Charity Softball Tournament. I have played more years than I care to tell you, but each year has provided me some of the best times I have ever had – regardless of wind, rain or heat.
Tourism is the third largest industry in North Dakota, welcoming over 22 million visitors each year. The local, state, national and international tourists that come to enjoy what Bis-Man has to offer has a significant positive impact on the economy. In 2023, tourism generated over $3.3 Billion (that is with a B) in visitor spending in North Dakota. This revenue helps support a multitude of businesses, from hotels and restaurants to grocery stores and retailers as well as create jobs, especially for all those high school and college kids. It is hard to ignore the impact tourism has in our community during the summer, so I encourage you to go out and participate in several of these events, play a round of golf or take a boat ride on the river this summer. Meet new people. Try something new. And above all — enjoy the summer!
The Chamber EDC also has some great options to enjoy the beautiful summers. Check out the Lunch on the Patio at the Chamber EDC which is free of charge for Chamber EDC membership and a great way to connect with others who are moving business forward in a casual way while enjoying a lunch served by the Chamber EDC staff. The dates of Lunch on the Patio are June 5, July 10, and August 7th. Come and go as your schedule allows between 11:30am-1:00pm. If perfecting your golf game is on your summer list, sign up for the Chamber EDC Golf Scramble to be held on June 9th. Finally, the Chamber EDC Clay Shootout will be held on August 15. Information about these events can always be found in the Connection Magazine and on the website. You can call the Chamber EDC office at 223-5660 for information. I look forward to seeing you at these fun summer events!
Respectfully,
Lee Pierce, Chair Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC Chair
The Business of Summer: How Seasonal Tourism Powers Our Community’s Economy
THE LASTING IMPACT OF A VISIT
Tourism plays an essential role in Bismarck-Mandan’s economy. The economic benefits from business growth, increased consumer activity, and job creation.
WHY SUMMER TOURISM MATTERS
Summer tourism plays a vital role in the overall health of local economies. It’s the most active season of the year, drawing visitors for events, recreation, and family vacations. These visitors bring new money directly into the community through spending on lodging, dining, shopping, fuel, and entertainment. For many small businesses, the revenue from summer months helps sustain operations year-round.
Benefits go beyond dollars. Tourism also creates jobs directly in hospitality and indirectly through services like transportation, event planning, and retail. Events and attractions that bring in tourists help build the community’s brand and identity, making it more attractive not just to visitors, but also to future residents, entrepreneurs, and investors. A vibrant summer tourism scene signals a thriving, welcoming community— something that’s crucial for talent retention and long-term growth.
““Summer tourism is a key driver of business growth in Bismarck-Mandan,” said Sheri Grossman, CEO of the Bismarck-Mandan Convention and Visitors Bureau.
“It creates jobs, boosts revenue for local businesses, and helps establish the region as a destination for people not only from our state but across the country.”
Tourism can help justify infrastructure improvements like parks, public art, and downtown revitalization that locals get to enjoy, too. When out-of-town guests have positive experiences, they’re more likely to return, spread the word, or even relocate. Summer tourism doesn’t just improve the vibrancy of our community but can also lead to a stronger workforce.

ATTRACTIONS THAT KEEP VISITORS COMING BACK
Summer in Bismarck-Mandan is defined by signature events that attract visitors from near and far. These events and attractions bring excitement to the region and provide opportunities for important fundraising efforts that support the community.
MCQUADE’S CHARITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
McQuade’s Charity Softball Tournament has been a major summer event in Bismarck-Mandan since it began in 1976 with 103 teams. Over the years, it has grown significantly, averaging more than 400 teams annually, with some years reaching as many as 475 teams.
The tournament draws players from across the country as well as a few Canadian teams. While exact economic impact figures aren’t tracked, the local business community consistently benefits. Hotels are often fully booked and restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and convenience stores report some of their busiest weeks of the year. From a tourism standpoint, the event brings thousands of visitors who rave about the community’s hospitality and atmosphere.
““The USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team has been coming for a handful of years now, and despite traveling all over for softball tournaments, they always say they love this one the most. The people are friendly, and they are met with great hospitality. They love this area so much that this year they are bringing their kids’ camp to Bismarck-Mandan the week following the tournament.” - Shannon McQuade-Ely
In celebration of the 50th anniversary this year, McQuade Distributing is planning extra festivities, including the return of the Budweiser Clydesdales, a concert with the Johnny Holm Band, and a kids’ camp hosted by the USA Patriots—making it a milestone summer for the region.
BISMARCK LARKS BASEBALL CLUB
The team’s games attract visitors from surrounding areas, creating a festive and energetic atmosphere at the ballpark and throughout the city. Local businesses, especially those near the stadium, benefit from increased foot traffic on game nights.
John Bollinger, owner and CEO of the Bismarck Larks, said, “Community events are the last frontier,” where people break from routine and build lifelong memories.”
With 36 home games and a mission focused on creating core memories and a stronger community, the Larks are a cornerstone of Bismarck’s summer experience. From themed jerseys that support local causes to consistently sold-out crowds and thousands of out-of-town ticket buyers, their impact extends well beyond the ballpark.
Together, these events keep both residents and visitors coming back while allowing opportunities for the organizations making impactful changes in our community to continue their work.
MANDAN PROGRESS ORGANIZATION
In Mandan, events like Buggies and Blues, Mandan Market Nights, and the Fourth of July Parade do more than draw crowds—they help define the city’s identity. As Matt Schanandore, Executive Director of the Mandan Progress Organization, explained, these events don’t just attract the 35,000-40,000 visitors who attend the Fourth of July celebration each year—they also generate the kind of excitement that draws new residents and businesses to the area. Buggies and Blues, for example, is being reimagined as a broader familyfriendly experience with expanded music offerings, more food trucks, and a growing lineup of craft vendors.
“Three years ago we saw this kind of influx of smaller boutiques that opened up in Mandan … they saw this attractiveness with events that were happening in the community,” Schanandore said.
Looking ahead to Mandan’s 146th Fourth of July celebration and the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Library, collaboration across the river is top of mind.
“As we build regionally, both communities succeed,” Schanandore added, reinforcing a shared vision for a thriving Bismarck-Mandan region.
CAPITAL A’FAIR
This art festival continues to be one of the state’s premier events, drawing 8,000-10,000 visitors each summer to the Capitol grounds. Hosted by the Bismarck Art and Galleries Association (BAGA), the event features over 100 art vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. More than an art show, Capital A’Fair has become a summer tradition for many, including long-time vendors who have participated for more than 15 years.
“It’s a celebration of creativity that brings our community together and supports the local economy,” said BAGA Executive Director, Cherise Pfaff.
BAGA plans to expand interactive art activities for children and offer even more live entertainment in 2025, continuing to grow this vibrant community staple.
These events do more than fill up calendars—they help visitors create connections to our community and showcase what makes Bismarck-Mandan such a special place to live, work, and visit. As the region grows and new attractions take shape, it’s clear Bismarck-Mandan is perfectly positioned to embrace the growing tourism industry.
Each June, Buggies N Blues draws in 40,000+ visitors for the largest classic car show in the region.
THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF SUMMER TOURISM
These three charts help illustrate how summer tourism affects the local economy and where these visitors are choosing to go.
““I think tourism is always about how we bring people into our community. How we get them to stay in a hotel, spend money at our restaurants. In essence, bringing money into our community, which is going to better our community.” - John Bollinger
THE LASTING IMPACT OF A VISIT
The impact of seasonal tourism has recently been recognized at the state level. Governor Kelly Armstrong’s signed Senate Bill 2154 making tourism as a primary sector industry in North Dakota. This allows tourism related businesses to be eligible for new business assistance programs. This new recognition further solidifies tourism’s role in North Dakota’s economic framework and provides opportunities for growth and sustainability in the industry.
The strength of Bismarck-Mandan’s tourism-driven economy lies not just in the events and attractions, but in the power of community collaboration. Local businesses, residents, and organizations work hand in hand to create a welcoming environment for visitors.
Looking ahead, continued investment in the region’s tourism infrastructure and events will help Bismarck-Mandan remain a premier destination for visitors. As summer attractions continue to grow each year, Bismarck-Mandan is set up for steady economic growth driven by tourism.

CAPITAL CAREER FAIR CONNECTS TALENT WITH OPPORTUNITY IN BISMARCK-MANDAN
The Capital Career Fair took place on Tuesday, March 18. 122 employers and 460 job seekers attended to recruit talent and explore job opportunities.
The fair was a team effort. It included the Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC, Bismarck State College, United Tribes Technical College, and Job Service North Dakota. It was a great example of how working together can impact our local workforce.
Employers praised the event for the foot traffic it generated, with one stating, “Great exposure for so many companies. Helps us be seen for some who may have never heard about our work.” Another employer expressed appreciation for the variety of roles their company offered, saying, “We loved that people could fit into many of the roles that we offer.” Other common sentiments included appreciation for the quality conversations employers had with job seekers, well-organized setup, smooth flow of traffic, and diversity of attendees.
The Capital Career Fair also helped graduating students start their careers locally. The fair creates a clear path from education to work. This helps keep skilled workers here and supports growing industries in Bismarck-Mandan.
Whether looking for full-time jobs, internships, or new opportunities to grow each year, the Capital Career Fair has a lasting impact on job seekers, employers, and our community’s economy.
INTERNSHIP NETWORK LINKS VISITING STUDENTS WITH BISMARCK-MANDAN
Growing our workforce is a top priority for the Chamber EDC. Each year, businesses in Bismarck-Mandan welcome students from around the world to participate in internship opportunities. To help connect these interns with our community and the people within it, the Chamber EDC created the Internship Network.
Through this program, interns from member organizations are invited to events designed specifically for them—giving them a chance to explore life in Bismarck-Mandan and build meaningful connections. Past gatherings have taken place at local favorites like the Bismarck Larks Ballpark, Midway Lanes, and Laughing Sun Brewery. These fun and engaging events help interns experience the lifestyle our community has to offer.
If you have an intern who would benefit from participating—or if you’d simply like to learn more—reach out to Chamber EDC Workforce Development Coordinator Summer Sturm by calling (701) 223-5660

How can personal branding help me attract the right customers and employees?
Ever wonder why some business owners seem to attract opportunities effortlessly? It’s not luck—it’s personal branding. Your personal brand is how others perceive you, whether you’re focused on it or not. Here’s how personal branding helps attract your ideal customers and employees:
People do business with those they know, like, and trust. Consistently showcasing your mindset, values, and skills—both online and in person—helps people get to know you.
Adding value builds trust. If your goal is to increase sales and solve problems, being relatable and approachable is key. A faceless business is hard to trust, so shaping your personal brand is vital. Be authentic. Sharing your true self resonates with those whose values align with yours, attracting the right customers and employees.
If you aren’t actively building your personal brand, how people perceive you is left up to interpretation. Build your personal brand with purpose and intention.

I’m heading to the beach soon. What’s the best sunscreen, and any quick tips for staying safe in the sun?
Protecting your skin from the sun is key to avoiding skin damage and cancer. Here are a few quick tips:
1. Use Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen with SPF 30+: Choose a broadspectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to block both UVA and UVB rays. Be sure to check the expiration date before use.
2. Apply Generously & Reapply: Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going outside and reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating.
3. Wear Protection & Seek Shade: Stay in the shade when possible, and wear a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and protective clothing.
4. Skip Tanning Beds: Avoid tanning beds, as they increase the risk of skin damage and cancer.

What’s your professional journey, and how did it lead you to Fix It All?
I grew up around tools and repairs, my dad was always fixing or improving something, and by middle school, I was already helping out on job sites. In high school, I knew I wanted to master one of life’s basic needs, like housing, automotive, or food. I started in the culinary world, took hospitality courses at BSC, and worked at Olive Garden before the program shut down and management changed.
From there, I spent 10 years with Traffic Safety Services, learning mechanical skills, leading crews, and managing projects. Eventually, I hit a ceiling and moved into property management, but quickly realized poor leadership wasn’t for me. Looking back, every step has given me valuable skills, from cooking and mechanics to remodeling and leadership. I’ve built a well-rounded foundation, and I’m excited to keep growing and making the most of what’s ahead.
Can you share a pivotal moment, decision, or challenge that shaped the history of Fix It All?
One day while working at my new property management job, I went to fix a lady’s garbage disposal. When I finished, she broke down in tears. Her disposal hadn’t worked in months, and the work order had been sitting just as long. She was so thankful that someone finally showed up and fixed it, she could finally use the second side of her sink again.
I’ve always loved helping and pleasing people, and that moment hit me hard. I sat in my truck afterward and made a decision. I thought, I’m only taking care of 200 doors, imagine how many more people in our community need help with repairs around their homes.
I also couldn’t stop thinking about the poor leadership and incompetent managers I’d dealt with. I never saw myself running a business, but I knew I had strong leadership skills. Right then, the name Fix it All popped into my head, and as soon as I said it out loud, the logo design came to me instantly.
I searched the name to see if anyone in North Dakota was using it, nobody was. I asked my wife if she’d support me. We asked each other all the “what ifs,” and I told her, “If it doesn’t work, I’ll just get another job.
She believed in me, and gave me the green light to start Fix it All.
FIX IT ALL MEMBER SINCE 2020
How has Fix It All adapted to the changing landscape of Bismarck-Mandan over the years?
This is a tough question because we’re not heavily involved in new construction. While mortgage rates and the economy impact everything, Fix it All is focused on repairs and maintenance, and those needs don’t just go away. Anyone who’s owned a home knows the to-do list never ends.
Here in North Dakota, the seasons are brutal on our homes, 50 mph winds, heavy rains, hail, UV damage, and harsh winters all take a toll. So while the market shifts, the need for repairs remains constant.
What’s changed the most is me as a leader, and that shift has directly impacted our culture and systems for the better. I believe a business can only grow to the capacity of the owner. I’ve invested real time and money into developing my skills, leadership, and mindset.
It’s wild to look back at our first year and see how far we’ve come, through the struggles, the lessons, and the growth. I’ll never stop improving, and I’ll never stop working to make Fix it All the premier choice in Bismarck-Mandan for all home improvement needs
What’s the most exciting innovation or trend you’re currently seeing in your industry?
The most exciting innovation for me is our Monthly Maintenance Program. One trend I’m seeing is the growth of in-home care for the elderly, and our program complements this by helping take care of the home.
For most people, their home is their biggest investment, but it often gets neglected, whether due to lack of knowledge, skill, or time. Many elderly homeowners have lived in their homes for decades. They feel safe there and have built a lifetime of memories, but unfortunately, they may no longer be able to keep up with maintenance.
First-time homebuyers often come from apartments where a maintenance guy handled everything, or from living with parents. On top of that, busy couples and single homeowners are overwhelmed with work, kids, and life. The result? The todo list keeps growing, and the home gets overlooked.
A properly maintained home runs more efficiently, avoids costly repairs, and holds its value when it’s time to sell or move. That’s where our Monthly Maintenance Program comes in.
We offer a range of options, monthly, quarterly, snowbird, basic, or full service. It all starts with our 153-point home assessment to determine the current condition of the home. From there, we do a consultation and recommend a plan that fits the homeowner’s needs and budget.
The best part? You get your time back to enjoy weekends again. Bye-bye to the to-do list. Say hello to the Monthly Maintenance Program.
Looking ahead, what’s your vision for Fix It All’s future?
Some of our upcoming goals include expanding into a larger shop space, with dedicated room for a refurbish area where we can recycle and reuse gently used materials. Our hope is that the community can make use of these items, keeping them out of the landfill and giving them a second life.
We’re also focused on growing as a team. We’re always working to improve, whether it’s ourselves, our systems, our schedule, or the client experience. That commitment to growth starts with leadership. As the owner, I’m constantly developing my skills to be a better leader for my team. And finally, we’re looking to expand into new markets across North Dakota. Watford City, Fargo, and a few other cities are on our radar. But growth will never come at the cost of our client experience. We’re committed to expanding at a pace that keeps our quality, culture, and customer satisfaction at the highest level.
How does Fix It All contribute to the local community beyond its products/services?
We’ll always support our community. We regularly donate to local charities, organizations, and events. We’ve also partnered with Rebuilding Together, and most recently, we’ve been involved with Mandan Ultimate, an alternative graduation night event that provides a safe, fun option for students to celebrate without making risky decisions.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the BismarckMandan Home Builders Association and also sit on the Events Committee. We just wrapped up a successful Home Show at the Civic Center and are preparing for upcoming events, including booths at the Garden Show and Tequila and Tacos in early May.
Looking ahead, one of our dreams is to set aside one day a month to help someone in need in our community with home repairs, giving back in a hands-on, meaningful way.
What’s one thing about Fix It All that might surprise people?
We put a lot of time and energy into team development, personal growth, and company culture. We meet weekly to keep each other accountable and focused. One of our upcoming goals is to implement a schedule guarantee, which is no small feat, especially with factors outside of our control like weather, material delays, and vendor timelines.
Each week, we review our own version of “game film”, looking back on how projects went and identifying ways we can improve. We truly value the client experience, and we’re committed to continuously improving our communication, setting clear expectations, and delivering a great experience for our clients, vendors, and community
How is technology changing the way you do business, and what innovations are you most excited about?
Technology is advancing faster and smarter than anyone can fully keep up with, but that’s what makes it so exciting. We’re embracing it to streamline operations, improve communication, optimize workflows, and boost efficiency across the board.
One recent innovation we tested was a demo system that allows us to take just a few photos of each side of a home, and it digitally measures the entire exterior with ½-inch accuracy. We’re also implementing new software to fine-tune our workflows and standard operating procedures to the point that we could franchise our model. This level of consistency and efficiency will raise the bar in every aspect of our operations.
And then there’s AI. You can be afraid of it, or you can embrace it. One member of my coaching group in Miami already has two full-time AI employees, freeing up 80 hours a week for her team to focus on higher-value work.
We’re excited about the possibilities of technology and committed to constantly learning, evolving, and becoming more effective and efficient every step of the way.
Fix It All is located at 2716 Memorial Hwy in Mandan.

FORTUNE NAMES SANFORD HEALTH ONE
OF AMERICA’S MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANIES
FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
For the third consecutive year, Fortune has named Sanford Health to its list of “America’s Most Innovative Companies.” The 2025 list honors 300 companies who do business in the United States.
Sanford Health is the only South Dakota or North Dakotabased company recognized on the list, which includes businesses from a multitude of sectors. Out of the 300 companies honored by Fortune, 63 are in health care – more than any other sector – 35 of which are health systems. Other health care companies and organizations named to the list include Johnson & Johnson, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Pfizer and Henry Ford Health System among others.
“Sanford Health is grateful to once again be included among the most innovative companies in the United States – an honor that is only made possible by our dedicated caregivers and employees,” said Bill Gassen, president and CEO of Sanford Health. “Our teams have embraced a culture of innovation – this idea that we need to be open to reimagining how we deliver care and how we get our work done if we truly want to solve some of the most pressing issues facing health care today, including access, quality and sustainability. By harnessing the full promise of technology, we are enhancing the patient experience, supporting the well-being of our people and strengthening recruitment and retention.”
Last fall, Sanford Health opened the Sanford Virtual Care Center in Sioux Falls, the hub of its $350 million virtual care initiative. The initiative includes an education institute with a simulation center, an innovation center with accelerator spaces to co-develop solutions for the future of care delivery, as well as a patient and family experience lab designed like a living room to test new tools and technologies.
Sanford Health plans to expand an ambient AI documentation tool to an additional 200 clinicians after a successful pilot that began last July with 100 clinicians. Among users, the tool has helped increase clinician satisfaction to 90-percent, with 95-percent reporting reduced mental strain. It has also played a key role in retention with 80-percent reporting they are more than likely to continue practicing in the field.
Sanford Health leaders have been at the forefront of the industry effort to develop voluntary standards for the use of AI tools in health care. Gassen was one of 28 initial health care executives to voluntarily sign a pledge that emphasizes the need to ensure AI is safe and responsible.

UNIVERSITY OF MARY BREAKS GROUND ON MARAUDERS ATHLETICS COMPLEX, USHERING IN A NEW ERA FOR SCHOLAR-ATHLETES AND FANS
Joined by students, alumni, faculty, staff, donors, community members, and its founders and sponsors, the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery, the University of Mary marked a historic moment with the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Marauders Athletics Complex on Friday, April 11. Sister Nicole Kunze, prioress of Annunciation Monastery, had the ceremonial honor of breaking ground with the golden shovel. This transformative project will bring football, soccer, softball, and track & field competition back to campus, providing a true home-field advantage for Marauders scholar-athletes while fostering school spirit and community engagement.
This milestone signals the beginning of the largest campus transformation in school history, a vision made possible through the generosity of donors, alumni, and friends of the University of Mary. Construction will commence on Monday, April 28, with hopes to complete construction in time for the Fall 2027 NCAA Division II season.
A Vision for the Future
The Marauders Athletics Complex is a key component of Phase II of the University of Mary’s ambitious $272-million Vision 2030 Capital Campaign. A total investment of $45 million will go toward the complex, of which a majority will be located east of the current fieldhouse along Highway 1804.
“We’re all excited this long-awaited day has arrived,” said University of Mary President Monsignor James Shea. “Today we can confidently say that our patience, perseverance, and the incredible generosity of our benefactors have brought us to this point. Our donors, alumni, and the Bismarck-Mandan community have worked hard throughout their lives and sought meaningful ways to invest in something lasting and purposeful—this project is that opportunity. For this, we are blessed and forever grateful to all.”
Executive Vice President Jerome Richter echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the university’s commitment to responsible stewardship. “Donors continue to step forward because they believe in what we are doing and the amazing servant leaders we are graduating into society. They see that we are authentic in who we say we are and that we are being diligent in making the most of every dollar entrusted to us. This project is a testament to their trust.”
A Homecoming for Marauders Athletics
For decades, University of Mary’s football, soccer, softball, and track & field teams have competed at venues across Bismarck. Now, with the construction of the Marauders Athletics Complex, these programs will finally return to campus, bringing an electric game-day atmosphere to the university.
“This project is about much more than buildings—it’s about elevating the scholar-athlete experience and reinforcing our commitment to Greatness through Virtue,” said director of Intercollegiate Athletics Marcus Wagner. “We are excited that these new facilities will help propel our scholar-athletes, our programs, and our entire university to the upper echelon of NCAA Division II athletics.”
The
Research and Performance Center: A Dynamic Hub of Competition and Learning
At the heart of the complex is the Research and Performance Center (RPC), an innovative and multi-purpose facility that redefines the intersection of academics and athletics. On its east side, the RPC, a premier space dedicated to strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and nutrition. On the west side, it will serve as the grandstand for Marauders football, with seating for approximately 2,500 fans.
Yet, the RPC’s ingenuity goes beyond game day. From Monday through Friday, its upper level will function as classroom space for students in the Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences, where future healthcare professionals will learn in a hands-on environment alongside scholar-athletes. But when the weekend arrives, the space will undergo a dramatic transformation— reimagined into premium suites for fans, offering unparalleled views and an exclusive game-day experience. This seamless shift from lecture hall to luxury seating encapsulates the University of Mary’s commitment to innovation, stewardship, and maximizing resources.
“This facility embodies our mission, combining academics with athletics in a way that serves both scholars and athletes at the highest level,” said Dr. Mary Dockter, dean of the Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences. “It’s a powerful example of how the University of Mary integrates education with real-world application.”
