Allí la energía festiva es imperecedera. Constituye escenario de importantes celebraciones que son reflejo de su identidad. Tal es el caso del Festival del Caribe, el Festival de la Trova “Pepe Sánchez” y el Festival del Son MatamoroSon. Destacan además, los icónicos Carnavales santiagueros, Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación, una de las fiestas populares más importantes del país. Durante este jolgorio multitudinario, sobresalen las congas con sus tambores y el inigualable sonar de la corneta china, las comparsas, paseos, carrozas, luces y disfraces multicolores.

Such is the case of the Festival del Caribe, the Festival de la Trova "Pepe Sánchez" and the Festival del Son MatamoroSon. Also noteworthy are the iconic Carnivals of Santiago, Cultural Heritage of the Nation, one of the most important popular festivals in the country. During this multitudinous revelry, the congas with their drums and the incomparable sound of the Chinese bugle, the comparsas, parades, floats, lights and multicolored costumes stand out.
