I Messenger Media LLC

I Messenger Media LLC (IMM) is a multi-media news organization based in Texas. Established in 2012, by veteran journalist Cheryl Smith, a National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Famer, IMM is a proud member of NNPA and in the rich tradition of the Black Press, seeks to uplift, educate, inform, inspire, support, and entertain the world. With award-winning journalists, educators, entrepreneurs, community servants and activists, and anyone interested in making this world better. In addition to Texas Metro News, Garland Journal, and I Messenger newspapers; there is the daily newsletter Metro News, the twice-weekly newsletter "In and Around Town," the daily podcast - "Metro News Hype," and weekly digital shows on Cheryl's World - on Blog Talk Radio. Additionally, IMM hosts several community events, including a Healthy Living Expo and the salute to exemplary lives and service - Metro News Honors.
