I hope your 2021 is off to a good start. We have lots in store for AWT this year.
to take the in-person training and then several weeks later, sit for the exam. Visit the AWT website at www.awt.org for more information.
In-Person Training The last time I was able to see many of my AWT friends in person was at the 2020 Technical Training Seminar in Seattle, Washington. I’m pleased to report that AWT is planning on holding an in-person Technical Training this year. While we aren’t able to hold seminars on both coasts, we are going to squeeze one in. We were able to move the dates of the Annapolis, Maryland, Training to May 2021. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today.
Online Introduction to Water Treatment Thanks to the dedicated efforts of many volunteers, the AWT Introduction to Water Treatment Modules are now all available online. This training program is free to all members. The modules cover the basics of water treatment and are a great tool for those new to the job. You can find these and other online courses in the education portal of the AWT website at https://edu.awt.org/ education.
CWT While Pearson Vue testing centers were closed part of last year, we still welcomed many new CWTs. The CWT designation is the water treatment industry's definitive standard. There is no other credential that gives you the professional credibility you deserve. The CWT exam is a computer-based exam, and you can take it on your own time, when you are ready, at one of the many Pearson Vue testing centers. Many people like
Online Safety Training If you haven’t taken advantage of the online safety training AWT offers, I would encourage you to do so. These trainings cover hundreds of safety topics and are a convenient and easy way to obtain necessary safety training for you and your staff. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
