Resident Appreciation Week is July 13th – July 17th!!! We want to honor all of YOU amazing residents and say thank you for everything YOU do!
• Monday, July 13th, 12:00pm – Pizza Pizza!! Stop by the Clubhouse to grab a slice of pizza, chips, and a drink for lunch!! • Tuesday, July 14th, 7:00am – Breakfast to go! Stop by the Clubhouse and grab a breakfast to go including: bacon, eggs, hash browns, biscuits, and gravy! Juice and coffee will also be available. • Wednesday, July 15th, 2:00pm – Delicious Dessert!! Stop by the Clubhouse for some yummy treats!! We will also have treats for our furry friends, so don’t forget to bring them too!! • Thursday, July 16th, 6:00pm –Pasta dinner at the clubhouse!! Stop by the Clubhouse for a delicious pasta dinner, salad, and breadsticks! Dessert and beverages will also be served. • Friday, July 17th, 5:00pm– Cookout by the pool! Grab a hot dog, chips, and a drink at the grilling pavilion! Cooked by our very own maintenance staff!! We are looking forward to seeing everyone and pampering you all week long!!! We will also have fun goodies to give away, so don’t miss out!!!
Recipe of the Month
Twizzler Firecracker Cupcakes! Ingredients: • • • • • • • • •
1 white cake mix (15.25 oz) 4 egg whites ¼ cup canola oil 1 small box cherry Jello ½ cup water 1 tub vanilla frosting 8 Twizzler Cherry Pull-n-Peel Licorice Twists 2 squares vanilla Candiquik coating Blue sugar sprinkles
Instructions:

Mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, Jello and water together with a mixer until well blended, about 2-3 minutes. 2. Put 24 cupcake liners in a cupcake tin and fill the cupcake liners ⅔ full with batter. 3. Bake at 325 degrees for 17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 4. Allow the cupcakes to cool and then frost them. 5. Cut each Twizzler Pull-n-Peel licorice twist into 3 pieces, about 3 inches each. Peel down each string of Twizzler to about ⅓ of the way down. 6. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the vanilla Candiquik according to the package directions. 7. Dip the separated ends in the melted vanilla Candiquik. 8. Dip the coated ends in blue sprinkles. 9. Lastly, separate all of the Twizzler ropes so they fan out like a firecracker. 10. Push a Twizzler firecracker down into the center of each cupcake. 11. Enjoy!
