Regardless of the severity of a winter storm, it is good to be prepared during these events. Know the difference: • Winter Storm Outlook - Winter storm conditions are possible in the next 2 to 5 days. • Winter Weather Advisory - Winter weather conditions are expected to cause significant inconveniences and may be hazardous. When caution is used, these situations should not be life threatening. • Winter Storm Watch - Winter storm conditions are possible within the next 36 to 48 hours. People in a watch area should review their winter storm plans and stay informed about weather conditions. • Winter Storm Warning - Life-threatening, severe winter conditions have begun or will begin within 24 hours. People in a warning area should take precautions immediately. Snow Removal • The landscapers will come through the property to plow the main roads when heavy snow fall has accumulated. Once it is safe to travel, the Audubon Place maintenance team will arrive on property to spread rock salt and work to clear entryways and sidewalks as needed. As always, please remember to use extreme caution when traveling throughout the community. Community Reminders • Remember that all pets must be on a leash when outside of the apartment. The only exception to this rule is when inside the Off-leash Pet Park. In addition, pets are not to be left unsupervised for any reason, including on your patio. • Please remember to clean up after your pets at all times. Audubon Place is very pet-friendly and we have placed multiple doggie stations throughout the community for convenient usage. • In an effort to keep the community clean, please properly dispose of cigarette butts. • Please remember that trash is not to be stored in the breezeways or on patios, and should be taken to the trash compactor. Not only do we want to keep the community looking nice, we do not want to attract any unwelcome wildlife. • Please remember that personal items are not to be stored in the breezeways. This includes bikes, toys, furniture, etc. If you need additional storage space, storage units are available starting at $30 a month. Please contact the office if you would like one!
