Toen Matty Zadnikar in 2016 kwam aandraven met het concept van ‘shared yacht ownership’ werd dat toen wat meewarig onthaald, echter 6 jaar later blijkt het een absolute voltreffer te zijn. “Met 6 jachten goed voor een totale waarde van 75 miljoen euro, 20 verkochte aandelen en 15 partners, kunnen we niet anders dan van een groot succes spreken. Het beste bewijs dat het concept van yacht sharing aanslaat is het feit dat na 6 jaar nog niemand zijn aandeel opnieuw heeft verkocht,” aldus Matty Zadnikar. "Het succes van onze formule is dermate overweldigend dat we nu zelfs, zowel door jachteigenaars met veel ervaring als door nieuwkomers worden gecontacteerd om als ‘matchmaker’ op te treden en 25% tot 50% of zelfs nog meer van hun jacht te verkopen."

Welke jachten hebben jullie momenteel in portefeuille?

In 2016 zijn we gestart met de Benetti Delfino ’93, een 28,5 meter jacht. In 2018 kwam er een Azimut Grande 35 Metri bij. Met vervolgens nog drie Benetti’s: een Mediterraneo 116’ (35 m) en twee Delfino’s ’95 (29 m), waarvan respectievelijk één in 2019 en één in 2021 werd opgeleverd, groeide de vloot op korte tijd uit tot 5 jachten. When Matty Zadnikar introduced the concept of shared yacht ownership to the market in 2016, people were sceptic about the idea, but six years later it turned out to be a big success. "With 6 yachts worth a total of €75 million, 20 shares and 15 partners, we can safely call it a great success. The greatest proof that the concept is working, is the fact that after six years not a single person has sold his share," says Matty Zadnikar. This has been such a success that we also have been contacted by experienced or recent yacht owners to see if we can serve as their 'matchmaker' and sell 25% or 50% or more of their yacht.

What yachts do you currently have in your portfolio?

In 2016 we started with the Benetti Delfino '93, a 28,5-metre yacht. In 2018 we added an Azimut Grande 35 Metri. With three more Benetti's: a Mediterraneo 116' (35 m) and two Delfino '95 (29 m), one of which will be delivered in 2019 and one in 2021 respectively, the fleet quickly expanded to five yachts. The latter, the Delfino '95 (29 m) of 2021, still has one share left for the fast deciders. At the moment there is also a Benetti Oasis (40 m) in the pipeline, which will soon be offered for sale and één aandeel voor de snelle beslissers.
