Sinds 1970 groeide Vlassak-Verhulst uit van een kleinschalig familiebedrijf tot een succesvol aannemingsbedrijf met een eigen studiebureau. “We zijn een echte bouwpartner en bieden een totaalconcept aan. Zo hoeft de bouwheer zich hier zelf niet mee bezig te houden en is hij zeker dat alles tot in de perfectie wordt geregeld en afgewerkt,” vertelt Maxime Verhulst, die 20 jaar geleden het bedrijf overnam van zijn vader. Vandaag is Vlassak-Verhulst de marktleider in exclusieve villabouw in België en Nederland. Ook in andere landen realiseerden ze al prachtige villaprojecten van topkwaliteit. “Momenteel doen we veel nieuwbouwen renovatieprojecten in Knokke. De badplaats is erg in trek, zeker bij tweedeverblijvers.”

Since 1970, Vlassak-Verhulst has been evolving from a small-scale family business to a successful contracting company with its own design office. "We are a true construction partner and offer a total concept. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of architects, interior designers, engineers and other experts, we guide clients through the entire building process. This relieves the client of the need to bother with the work and ensures that everything is arranged and finished to perfection," explains Maxime Verhulst, who took over the company from his father 20 years ago. Today, Vlassak-Verhulst is the market leader in exclusive villa construction in Belgium and the Netherlands. They have also realised beautiful, top-quality villa projects in other countries. "We are currently working on many new-build and renovation projects in Knokke. The seaside resort is very popular, especially among second-home residents."

Vlassak-Verhulst biedt klanten een totaalconcept aan. Wat houdt dat precies in?

“We streven ernaar om de klant volledig te ‘ontzorgen’. Dit betekent dat elke klant een team toegewezen krijgt, dat hem begeleidt tijdens het hele bouwproject. De klant denkt uiteraard mee over hoe zijn droomwoning eruit moet zien. Maar het zijn de experts die ervoor zorgen dat alles tot in de puntjes geregeld en uitgevoerd wordt, tot en met verlichting, kraanwerk en gordijnen. De klant hoeft zelf niks te doen, alleen maar de leuke dingen!”

Vlassak-Verhulst offers its clients a total concept. What does that involve exactly?

“Our goal is to completely 'unburden' our clients. This means that every client is assigned a team that guides him/her through the entire construction project. Of course, the client has a say in what his dream home should look like. But it is the experts who ensure that everything is arranged and carried out down to the last detail, including lighting, taps and curtains. The client doesn't have to do anything himself, just the fun stuff!“

Zijn er bepaalde evoluties de laatste tijd?

Have there been any particular developments lately?

“Tegenwoordig doen ook veel mensen een beroep op ons voor de renovatie van hun woning. Ze besteden steeds meer aandacht aan het comfort van hun woning en ook energiezuinigheid staat hoog op de agenda. Onze renovatieprojecten voldoen aan de hedendaagse normen op vlak van duurzame elektriciteit, verwarming en sanitair. We maken gebruik van de nieuwste technieken en materialen, steeds met eerbied voor het authentieke karakter van de woning en de oorspronkelijke elementen. Een materiaal dat erg in trek is tegenwoordig, is microcement. Het is een dunne decoratieve betonlook coating op basis van cement, kunsthars en minerale pigmenten. Het is geschikt als stijlvolle afwerkingslaag voor vloeren, wanden en plafonds maar ook voor een trap, keukenblad of meubels. Door de naadloze afwerking en waterdichte eigenschappen is microcement geschikt voor toepassingen in vochtige ruimtes zoals de badkamer en de keuken, of als coating voor zwembaden en vijvers.” Info: www.vlassakverhulst.com
