ENJOY MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY AT A FRACTION OF THE COST
Shared Ownership offers more flexibility than chartering, as owners can use their aircraft for personal or business travel within the guidelines of their contract. It’s also more convenient than commercial travel, with the ability to fly private on your own schedule to regional airports close to your destination.
Shared costs
The cost of purchasing operating and maintaining the aircraft is divided among the owners, which can significantly reduce individual expenses. This includes costs like maintenance, insurance, crew salaries and hangar fees.
Cost efficiency
For those who fly frequently but not enough to justify full ownership of an aircraft, shared ownership offers a more affordable option compared to chartering a jet for every flight.
Proportional use
Owners buy a ‘share’ of the aircraft, which represents a certain number of flight hours per year. The larger the share, the more flight hours you are entitled to use the aircraft. These shares are usually sold in increments of 10% with each increment representing 40 hours of flight time annually.
Management services
Blue Sky, a member of ASL Group, provides full management services, including maintenance, crew hiring and logistics so the owners don’t have to handle the day-to-day operations.
Aircrft access
Owners can use the aircraft based on their share. Blue Sky, a member of ASL Group, is the program manager responsible for scheduling and operations of the aircraft to ensure all owners have access to their aircraft or an alternative when needed.
Fleet access
ASL Group’s Shared Ownership Program offers acces to a fleet of aircraft, which allows owners to fly different types of jets based on their needs, e.g. a smaller jet for regional trips or a larger one for intercontinental travel. The us of another type is simply done by transparant exchange ratios.

As a member of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), we’re constantly working on new projects to expand our business and to offer our clients innovative travel solutions. In line with the EBAA’s climate commitment, we contribute to a sustainable and healthy future, both socially and ecologically.
From the bottom up we want to go further in reducing the ecological footprint of our airline. We realize CO2 offsetting is an important step in addressing climate change, but it is just one among many actions we can take to contribute to the development of a sustainable environment. Two major contributions to this commitment can be found in our ‘RISE-project’ and ‘ASL Fly Sustainable’ program.
Not only do we invest in our own operations, we also work closely together with numerous innovative partners in order to contribute to a sustainable environment and provide better value to our customers in a sustainable way.
Fair-trade products - Using socially responsible, ecological and fair-trade products on board our aircraft and in our facilities.
Waste - Reducing the amount of waste generated by the company activities and ensuring proper waste-sorting.
CO2 emissions - Limiting, reducing where possible and offsetting the remaining CO2 emissions generated by our company activities.
ICAO CORSIA & EU-ETS (Emission Trading System)
RefuelEU - No tankering is allowed anymore at Union airports within Europe, reducing weight, drag & fuel burn resulting in less CO2 emissions.
Sustainable energy - Promoting the use of sustainable energy (e.g. solar panels) throughout our facilities and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) via the ‘Fy Sustainable’ program (e.g. Azzera).
Energy saving - Implementing waste-sorting and energy-saving measures throughout the company facilities such as water filtration systems to recycle rainwater, automatic lights on movement sensors, best level ventilation and insulation, heat pumps, solar panels, self-regulated floor heating, CO2 captured wooden hangar structures and many more.

Pipistrel Velis Electro
In December 2021, we unveiled the first fully electric aircraft in Belgium. Two Pipistrel Velis Electro aircraft, registered respectively OO-GRN and OO-ELC, are used at the ASL Academy for training of young student pilots.
At the introduction, these planes were the only certified electric aircraft in the world, costing nearly 200.000,- Euro. The Pipistrel Velis Electro can only fly for one hour on a full battery, but that is enough to train young pilots in basic maneuvers.
ASL has placed in Spring 2025 an aircraft order with VÆRIDION
making it effectively the launchcustomer for this revolutionary new aircraft expected to enter service as of 2030. Pioneering electric regional aviation, the VÆRIDION Microliner is a nine-passenger aircraft designed to cover distances of approximately 400-500 kilometers, making it ideal for regional travel where traditional combustion-engine aircraft currently dominate.
VÆRIDION believes that airlines could replace a 50-seater aircraft that flies once daily with multiple nine-seaters that fly several times a day, increasing service frequency and flexibility. The Microliner would be more environmentally friendly, even than electric cars, and even more so than a train if the huge rail network infrastructure costs are considered.

Since February 2024,

ASL Group pioneers this solution with its clients to book and claim SAF effortlessly, supporting even small sustainable aviation fuel requirements on flights, particularly at locations where physical SAF is unavailable.
