ROWING MEMBERSHIPS / AFFILIATES

The Sacramento State Aquatic Center (SAC) offers year round rowing access to the public through our “Affiliate” membership program. Affiliates have access to designated rowing equipment, weight room and rowing ergometers during open hours (regularly scheduled Aquatic Center classes do have priority on equipment). Check out is required on various types of rowing equipment. Just come down and sign out that boat for a row. Membership applications must be made in person at the front office on weekdays only.

Here are a few guidelines to follow while rowing out of the Sacramento State Aquatic Center:

1. All rowers must check in at the front office and sign in and out for safety purposes.

2. Leave car keys at sign in.

3. No boats allowed on the water before sunrise.

4. All boats must be off the water by dusk.

5. Be aware of the Aquatic Centers hours of operation. They are not the same as the State Park and they change with the season.

6. Be aware of shallow areas and lake hazards.

7. Traffic pattern is subject to change during special events. Please check with the Aquatic Center’s front office or see page 50 for the special events calendar.
