Let's Go to Camp!

The Green & Gold Membership entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center paddle craft, sailing, and rowing equipment. If you are a beginner/novice sailor, rower or paddler, you must complete one of the basic classes or a private lesson to have access to specialized equipment (surf ski, touring kayaks, lasers, holders, windsurfers, Quests, keelboats, and all rowing shells). If you have previous paddling, sailing or rowing experience, and feel confident enough to pass a brief written and practical exam, you may get checked out to use Aquatic Center specialized equipment by scheduling a one hour or more private lesson (some people may require more than one hour to get checked out - this will be decided by the instructor) for each craft you wish to have access to. With this membership you will have access to Aquatic Center weight room, and rowing ergometers.

*Family memberships are defined as families living in the same household and may have up to Two (2) adults and two (2) children ages 5 - 17 years old. A child under the age of 5 would be considered a non-member. If a family member 65 years or older living with the family would like to join the membership, they may be added to the membership at the additional fee. A 5th person may be added to the membership at an additional fee if they live in the same household and are under 18 years of age. If over 18, they must get their own membership. A student who is currently enrolled in high school but is 18 years old may be added to a family membership.

CLASSES:

•Cancellations made less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the class are not eligible for a refund.

• There is a $10.00 fee for all cancellations and transfers.

•Transferring classes may be made if the request is received at least 5 working days before your scheduled class.

•Should the Aquatic Center cancel a class, we will issue a transfer, credit or full refund. Reasons may include severe weather or participant numbers. Classes must meet the minimum enrollment.

•There are no make-up sessions if you miss a class. Failure to attend a class in which you are registered will result in forfeiting of all fees.

•Refund requests must be made within 90 days.

YOUTH CAMPS:

•All youth camp registrations are final. There are no refunds unless a camp is cancelled or in case of a medical emergency, in which case a doctor’s note must be provided.

•Minimum $100.00 non-refundable deposit per child, per camp required for all registrations.

•Full payment is due 7 days prior to camp start.

• Camps are cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met.

•There are no make-up sessions if you miss a day.

• There is a $25.00 fee for all cancellations, and $10.00 transfer fee.

•Discounts and coupons must be presented during registration and will not be accepted after registration.

•Refund requests must be made within 90 days.

YOUTH GROUPS / TEAM BUILDING

•Aquatic Center programs are not confirmed until a signed contract and deposit or a purchase order are received

•Total program fee (or the PO) must be received by the Aquatic Center no less than one week before the scheduled program date.

•Changes in the number of participants must be made two weeks prior to the scheduled event in order to arrange for appropriate staffing

•If participant number changes are made in less than two weeks, the client will be held responsible for the original program fee, plus the fees for any additional participants.

•Cancellations made three weeks (21 days prior) to the scheduled event are entitled to a refund of all fees paid.

•Cancellations made between one and three weeks (7 and 20 days) prior to the scheduled event will forfeit the program deposit amount.

•Cancellations made within one week of the scheduled event will forfeit the entire program fee.

•We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a program due to safety concerns. Such cancellations will not result in forfeiture of fees.

BEACH / CLASSROOM RESERVATIONS:

•Aquatic Center facility rentals are not confirmed until a signed contract and deposit or purchase order are received.

•Total booking fee (or PO) must be received by the Aquatic Center no less than one week before the scheduled booking date.

•Changing the number of people for the beach facility booking must be made two weeks prior to the scheduled event.

•Changing the number of people less than two weeks prior to the reservation, the client will be responsible for the original program fee, plus the fees for any additional people.

•Cancellations made three weeks (21 days prior) to the scheduled event are entitled to a refund of all fees paid.

•A $20.00 administrative fee will apply for all cancellations.

•Cancellations made between one and three weeks (7 and 20 days) prior to the scheduled event will forfeit the booking deposit amount.

• Cancellations made within one week of the scheduled event will forfeit the entire booking fee.

Classroom Rental

•Prices are based on the number of rooms used and time frame of room use.

•If fewer rooms are needed, changes must be made two weeks prior to the scheduled event.

•If fewer rooms are needed and changes are made less than two weeks prior to the reservation, the client will be responsible for the original booking fee.
