NORTH & SOUTH BEACH

The beach area is the perfect venue to hold self-sustained family reunions, picnics, and barbecues. The large space and easy access to the water is the perfect spot for a summer get-away! Tables, tents, power outlets, and volleyball court allow for a fantastic day with the family! The combined beach can accommodate up to 150 people. The beach can easily accommodate 2 parties by use of the north and south areas. Both areas have picnic tables with permanent shades, and access to the BBQ area. The Aquatic Center is a multi-use facility and does not provide exclusive use.

Founders Grove

Founders Grove is a great space to host a picnic, birthday, or a family get together. This space has 10 picnic tables shaded by a grove of redwood trees with an adjacent basketball court and grassy knoll. Founders Grove is positioned so that it overlooks the main rental docks. The BBQ area is also available for reservations pending availability. The Aquatic Center is a multi-use facility and does not provide exclusive use.

CLASSROOM/MEETINGROOMS

The Aquatic Center upstairs is the perfect place to host meetings, trainings, and parties. There are multiple room configurations available, ranging from 1 – 4 rooms. Each room has a 25 person capacity with the entire upstairs accommodating 110 people. There is deck space available that provides great views of the lake. The meeting space includes a projector, AV equipment and TV’s with DVD players. The Aquatic Center does have limited availability for classroom reservations during peak seasons as all boating safety education classes and camps take priority.

Price is $5.00 per person for the 3 hr time block

How to make a reservation at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center:

1.Visit our website at www.sacstateaquaticcenter.com a. Under forms, download the appropriate Aquatic Center Reservation Request form b. Reservation types include: Classroom, Beach, Youth Group, Team Build, or Birthday Party

2.Complete the Reservation form and return by: a. Mail: 1901 Hazel Ave., Gold River, CA 95670 b. Fax: 916.278.1105

When completing the form, please keep in mind:

1. We recommend putting alternative dates on your request form to help facilitate your reservation.

2.Please allow some time for processing. The Aquatic Center can book quickly in the summer time.

3.The name listed as contact #1 on the request form will be our primary contact.

4.If the reservation is approved, you will receive an approval e-mail, indicating that you are officially on our books.

5.If the reservation is not approved, you will receive a phone call to discuss other possible options.

6.As your reservation date approaches, you will receive an e-mail with your rental contract. You must return the signed contract along with a 50% deposit. Please see further details outlined on the contract when you receive it.

7.Set up time begins at the start of your reservation time requested and clean-up must be done and the area vacated by the end time of the reservation.

8.Final payment is required two weeks prior to your event.

Additional Information

• Lifeguards, Dock Masters, and instructors are available for an additional $30/hr.

• $50/hr overtime charges will apply to any events that extend past Aquatic Center hours of operation.

• All reservations require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking.

Beach pricing is $5 per person per hour and includes a lifeguard.
