Deeply rooted in punk rock, Kallaghan now incorporates guitar elements into his electronic performances, sharing stages with top DJs such as Diplo, CID, Malaa, Tchami, and Steve Aoki.
In 2022 he started his own label “Grail Records” where he released 27 electronic tracks. As a producer, Kallaghan has worked with notable acts like The Word Alive, Walshy Fire (Major Lazer), Melii, BLVD & Laidback Luke, and more.
This exclusive conversation took place in one of the Kallaghan Studios in Allapattah Art District, Miami We talked about the backstage of music industry, why Miami is the best place for creative people, and also about the concept of Kallaghan’s label.
Charly, thank you so much for this exclusive interview to the ART E$TATE Magazine. You know that our magazine is about creative lifestyle, and also about different aspects of art, including Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Movie Industry, and, of course, Music. You are a successful businessman, who came to the Unites States from another country, and already is well-known internationally for your music label, your tracks and collaborations with other stars of the music industry Tell me in few words about your background What prompted you to start out in music?
Thank you! So great meeting you. What prompted me to start out in music industry, was a peritonitis! I got really sick when I was 15 years old, and I ended up in a hospital for a month. I had too much free time, and one of my friends motivated me to record myself when I was playing the guitar. That’s how I started out in music and production
Wow! Sometimes something bad, as we see it at the moment, prompts us to do something creative…
Absolutely. It is the essence of art. I don’t know any big artist who didn’t start creating from pain During all these years it was so interesting to produce and to create other artists. It’s something crazy that sometimes you end up in the room with somebody whom you don’t know at all, you don’t have personal ties with them, and you go so deep into their pain, which converts into some beautiful messages to the world. That’s how pain becomes something very positive during a creative process.
My dad is a well-known French painter, and all his art came from that pain of not being understood. And he transformed this pain into hundreds of amazing artworks.
That’s true. You are from Europe. Why did you choose the United States for working in the music industry?
Actually, I did’t have a goal to move to America. I was working for a company in the South of France where I was creating music content. And we ended up doing all music content for Google. You know that their head office is located in San Francisco, California. Back in these days, I was also in the music band, and our band had a deal with Burton Snowboarding to go to California for a tour I fell in love with California
At that time I was a rock artist, and California was just an ideal place for this career. I started producing music in Los Angeles, and spent ten years there.
Ok… But now you are living in Miami, Florida. Why did you prefer Florida to California?
Well, I have a family now, and I feel like LA is not the best place to live when you are a family person. Besides, if I had to be always seen in Hollywood, here in Miami sometimes I can just relax, hang out with my friends and do normal stuff Miami feels like a constant retreat from the LA craziness
I totally agree that for comfortable living Miami is the best place But talking about career, is Miami also good to succeed in the music industry?
I think that what’s great about Miami, is what happened here during Covid The city was totally changed for good. As we didn’t have so many restrictions, a lot of people from different states moved to Miami, including famous ones from the music industry. LA and NYC are great for business, because there are a lot of institutions, old businesses, old money. But there is also a massive fight. If you want freedom to do what you want and to create, I think Miami is the best place now.
That makes sense. Let’s talk about your music label - Grail Records. What is its concept? What is so different about it?
The big difference is that I came here to do rock music, but now I am an electronic artist (laughs).
It seems like Miami influenced you.
Yeah, I think I’m a best example of doing what you love, focusing on the right opportunity and not being scared of taking new chances. My label is a product of being flexible in art and taking new opportunities.
You know that my background is rock - real drums, real instruments: I was in a band, playing guitar. Now I am a producer and an electronic music artist, but I’m still doing rock music. I feel like I’m constantly connecting the dots, that are not supposed to be connected. That’s why the logo of Kallaghan is three dots. I love to create new synergies. Out of this, we don’t know what collaborations we are going to do in future with visual art But I am open to the new opportunities
I think that the real artist should be flexible and always be ready for changes and collaborations That’s amazing how you can combine rock music, being a producer and electronic music artist That’s something that makes your label truly unique - connecting unconnectible styles…
Absolutely. And talking about my studios in Wynwood, the idea is to have a one-stop shop to help people develop their business and create their art faster. We have a podcast studio here, a production studio up-here, and a photo studio there. We have another studio where you can record music. The most important thing for me is that I have a crew which is very aware of all this.
You have such a great energy here! What music artists are you working with?
My favorite in the rock world is Ronnie Radke from Falling in Reverse. I have been working with this guy for 10 years in Los Angeles, and he is a real genius and a rock influencer. Also I like working with Miami based artists Tvigo Cruz, Marius and DJ Garrett.
Who are your inspirers in your art and in your lifetime?
Well, It’s complicated, because I make electronic music, but I listen to rock (laughs). Let’s say that my biggest inspiration for the last few years has being Virgil Abloh, a famous fashion designer and the owner of the OffWhite.
As my dad, Gerard Massabo, is a painter, I’ve being influenced by visual arts a lot, too I’m very grateful for everything he has done He is an incredible surrealist and cubist artist Thanks to my dad, I’ve being visiting museums and art galleries from my very childhood. He developed in me the ability of healthy criticism of art and taught me how to judge art for what it really is. My dad showed me that the artwork is a mirror of who we really are.
Talking about my favourite artists, I really love Caravaggio and Dali. Also I like such modern influencers as Kaws, I even collect the works by this artist.
Amazing! What are your future plans with your music label?
My plan is to create as many songs as possible. Also I would love to sign as many talented music artists as I can I see so much great talent that has not being pushed, because they don’t have the opportunity
For my own music, I’m going to participate in as many festivals as possible.
My main goal right now is to make Kallaghan Studios a cultural hub, where people come to create and network.
If you are approached by an aspiring music producer who wants to be as successful as you are, what are the steps of becoming a star producer?
The first step is purpose. You have to be sure that this is your number one priority. Then, be as unique as possible. Be a good entrepreneur. And of course be ready for difficulties and for changes Be flexible, and don’t get your emotions to influence your business Make sure you do something you really love
Actually what I am always doing is trying to explain people that being famous sucks. For example, being rich is awesome, but being famous is not. I feel like a lot of people don’t realize this. Once you are getting famous, people are getting jealous, your agenda is crazy, and you don’t belong to yourself anymore. My advice is to enjoy art and make money with that, without dealing with too much publicity.
Thank you! A question: What drives you most of all?
Honestly, I love winning. That is what really drives me. Also I love to see my friends winning. I like to empower them. And this is what I expect from people around me, too.
Thank you so much for such a motivating conversation!
is a modern artist based in Vienna, Austria. In this interview, I was able to find out that behind this male pseudonym, there is a beautiful and inspiring female artist. I got to know her personality, the concept of her works, and understood why they are in such great demand on the European art market.
Throughout her artistic career, Wasted Sergej has participated in multiple art exhibits, fairs, and creative projects, both nationally and internationally. She has captivated collectors and connoisseurs of contemporary art around the world with her originality, unusual approach to creating artworks, and the ability to enjoy the present moment, which is hidden behind each of her pieces.
Well, I started at a very early age. When I was one year old, the only thing that could occupy and calm me down was drawing. My Mom used to give me a piece of paper and pencils, and during this time, she could go do her stuff. As soon as the paper ran out, I started crying again. At the age of 6, I did my first painting - a portrait of my grandmother. My parents knew that I had great artistic talent, so they sent me to the Art School named after Repin in Kharkov, Ukraine. I graduated with honors. In this institution, they developed in me the sense of art technique, but unfortunately, completely killed my inspiration and desire to find my own style.
After that, I had no inspiration to create for about 15 years. I started studying at the Institute of Architecture in Ukraine, then graduated from the Faculty of Journalism in Vienna, and was already moving in a different direction. While one day during the pandemic in 2020, I was sitting in front of a canvas, talking on the phone, and suddenly I began to draw, as if on a whim: some shapes, some patterns... The result was something that I did not expect at all!
This was my first painting in the style in which I work to this day. I finally realized that I had discovered my unique direction, found myself as an artist! Work on my consciousness and esotericism, which I began to study several years before my creative breakthrough, helped me a lot. At that moment, a group of like-minded people supported me, and then one of the Vienna galleries invited me to participate in their exhibit. That's how it all started! I think two factors played a big role: the fact that I was finally able to turn off my brain and trust the creative impulse, and of course, my support group
If you would not become an artist, whom would you like to be and why?
I think it would be more correct to ask: whom did you dream of becoming as a child? Because the first thing that comes to this question is our true desire and calling. As a child, I loved to play “tracking” - hiding and watching someone. I think I was dreaming of becoming a detective. But this is about a dream. And if it’s about reality, then if I hadn’t become an artist, I would have studied Math and become an IT specialist.
What does your artistic name - Wasted Sergej - mean?
Most of my life, I have been living in Vienna I played there in a hobby theater, and we were preparing a production based on Erdman, in which I acted as an elderly Soviet woman, the wife of a suicide (by the way, this play was banned in the Soviet Union). According to the script, my husband’s name was Semion, but during the performance for some reason, I called him “Sergej”. At the end of the performance, they told me that I played well, but who the hell was Sergej?
Eventually, I realized that Sergej was my trickster, my alter ego. This is the child inside who can do whatever he wants, but who also becomes silent when we grow up and become part of society, part of the system And this trickster, whom I revealed through theater, became a part of me again When I create a painting, I don’t have to eat, drink, or sleep, my brain turns off, and I completely surrender to the process. And I clearly understand that it is not me who is painting the picture, but my trickster - Wasted Sergej.
Wow, that’s interesting! Give us more details about the character behind your works.
Well, it’s a difficult question. Each of my paintings has a separate story. Each of them is a piece of me. This is a snapshot of my thoughts and states at the moment when I was creating. Therefore, each of my works should be read precisely in the context of the moment of its creation.
What is the message that your artworks convey?
I don’t want to convey anything with my art. There's no message there. The only way to “read” my paintings is to listen to what feelings and emotions they evoke. Conduct an internal dialogue with yourself. This is precisely the opportunity my creativity provides
My fellow artists describe my style as naive neo-expressionism. And I completely agree with that. What is your specific artistic style?
What inspires you to create your pieces of art?
I think the concept of inspiration is complete nonsense There is daily work and discipline. Muse is the absence of laziness. That's why I'm inspired by daily work. As for auxiliary tools, music helps me a lot.
What is your goal as an artist? Where do you see your mission?
I believe that every person has a talent that must be applied. My mission as an individual is to build an animal shelter. In general, I think that the most important mission is to help someone, despite one’s capabilities. I love to manifest and help at the very moment when I can’t really do that. My other mission as a person is to love and to forgive.
My mission as an artist is to evoke good emotions with my creativity. I'm glad that I found my calling in life and that I can earn money doing what I really love. I know that I use my talent wisely, because I have received confirmation from the Universe more than once that I am going in the right direction.
Why would you like to enter the US art market?
I never had a specific desire to enter the American market. Everything that happens to me comes to me on its own. I just wish for a certain result, and it will definitely materialize. This is how I ended up at the Red Dot fair during Art Basel Week in 2023 But I believe that the US market is most likely my market, because people there love bright colors. In Austria, they value more monochrome and decorative art.
What is your artwork or art project that you are most proud of?
It’s difficult to answer this question because all the works that I created before then most likely cause me rejection. I can only name paintings that others like. I think I am most proud of the exhibitions in which I participated: “Parallel” in Vienna - one of the top 50 world exhibitions, and also Red Dot during Miami Art Basel Week Then I remember another project which included two two-meter paintings that I created in two days for a competition for an installation at the central metro station in Vienna.
Many people compare me to Jean-Michel Basquiat, and I can agree that our approach to painting does have a lot in common. I am very glad that I am compared with him! I also adore Miró, Cy Twombly, and Dali, from whom I took notes of surrealism. In the world of gallerists, I respect those who have achieved something from a marketing point of view. In general, I admire people who try to make the world a better place - to help other people, animals, nature.
It seems to me that the stronger a person is, the more difficult their difficulties are. The Universe only gives us those challenges that we can overcome. In general, I am a very positive person, and all the difficulties that I have had in my life have played into my hands: they have shaped the personality that I am now Difficulties for me are more like challenges. So this is something positive!

My artistic beginnings go way back to to my early years - I was always drawing and painting something. My life took a different turn however, and I pursued a career in Sciences instead. I graduated in pharmacy and biochemistry in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and worked in medical- pharmaceutical research in NYC and in France It was rewarding, even exciting but, after a while and when the opportunity rose, I took a leap of faith - a challenging but exhilarating one - left my career path and started my creative journey And never regretted it
ART is a passion - it defines not only you, but your view of the world It’s not a profession, it’s a lifestyle ART brings me happiness and joy
On the other hand, neither do I regret my scientific background: it has given me a wider perspective in life, more appreciation of my artistic pleasures
Autodidact at first, I studied art at the New York State University and I am learning every day Art is a lifelong journey
For me, a human body is the biggest inspiration, and also a challenge. I find it beautiful, I love to paint it more than anything. I have also had a series of portraits in oil - in traditional /symbolistic vein, and am now experimenting with mixed media / collage, getting interesting results and rewarding comments. The human body is an inexhaustible source for art. And yes, in my paintings the central figure just ‘happens’ to be FEMALE, men being there occasionally for a ‘supportive’ role…
After experimenting in various genres I found my calling in portraying a world of dreams, mystery, seduction, fantasy - a woman’s world, in a symbolistic vein. Magic realism on canvas. That applies to all of my different series.
Can I have two? Or three…? Which is your favorite child?? An impossible choice. But if I have to choose two, the TANGO series for sure, because tango has being my other PASSION - I am a tanguera - a tango dancer. Here I’ve really put my heart and my soul into telling the story. And also definitely my Tropical Series, which goes way back, bringing memories of my life under the palm trees in Argentina, and now in Miami.
And my latest - the experimental, dark and mysterious Miami Noir / Miami Rouge - FACEShas a hold and pushes me to dig deeper into.
Again, there have been several highlights. First of all, there was the showing of my Tango series at the National Palace of Tango in Buenos Aires, then in NYC and in my native country Estonia.
I am also especially proud of my solo exhibit at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC, with my Tropical Series “Save the Rainforests” to call attention to the massive destruction of the world’s natural sources of oxygen - the rainforests. The show coincided with an international conference in Rio de Janeiro on this subject - the Earth Summit in 1992 And then, there is the participation in Venice in 2004 at an international Light Show on the Grand Canal Best memories!
That said, I am a big admirer of Picasso - his Blue period was no doubt a first strong influence. The French modernists, John Singer Sargent, Mexican art… I get a lot of inspiration going to art shows, the big international Art Fairs - Art Basel right here in Miami - these are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for me. I have had the privilege to participate in quite a few of those and always come back richer in knowledge and excited to pick up my brushes!
In addition to those I’ve mentioned already, I really love the work of Salvador Dali - a genius I also like Matisse - strong, colorful I feel a special attraction to the work of the adherents to the symbolistic movement, because I feel the veiled mystery in it As for contemporary artists, I am drawn to a couple of very powerful modern portraitists working in mixed media that I have seen lately, whose names escape me And then there is the Argentine painter Jose Ansalone, who paints tango musicians like nobody else, with whom I shared my memorable tango show in Buenos Aires and NYC
Keeping myself happily active and engaged in the realm of art. Enjoying my work and sharing my art with the world through my participation in exhibitions and art festivals. Art is there to give pleasure, to light up your life, to elevate your spirit and fulfil your senses.
Life itself is the biggest teacher, evolving, teaching you every day some valuable lesson in Art. There is so much art everywhere, you just have to keep your eyes open and observe.
I hope to grow every day, to draw upon new ideas and develop new series. Although I enjoy my latest work in mixed media / collage, I am still particularly fond of traditional and experimental oil painting and am tempted to do some more tropically inspired work. Time will tell. Inspiration is unexpected and always welcome.
That’s a tough question, because it is a tough industry. Art itself is nowadays constantly evolving, overstepping boundaries, it does not fit into a classical mold or even into a definition. So, you just have to try to fit in the present world of art, prove yourself and get lucky. It’s not easy, but you have to believe in yourself, your contribution, and persevere, let your art speak and stand out. And of course - participate in as many exhibitions and art events as possible.

This conversation with a creative couple from Buenos Aires took place in their beautiful home in Miami Beach, where these two talented and passionate artists are living now, raising their little son and devoting themselves to art. Now Sol and Ezequiel own their tattoo studio, constantly paint and participate in major art exhibits and fairs in the United States, preparing for Art Expo NYC. But their life wasn't always like that. In this interview, we dug deeper into their creative journey and understood how these two artists managed to have the life of their dreams in Miami.
born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, developed a passion for art from a young age, engaging in drawing and painting with techniques such as charcoal and airbrush Later, he pursued a degree in architecture at the University of Buenos Aires, allowing him to apply his knowledge of spaces and perspectives to his later artistic works Following his architectural studies, he dedicated five years to the study of Fine Arts, acquiring the essential concepts for the development of his creative endeavours. His work is defined as cinematic, capturing unique moments where light plays an essential role in the visual narrative Now based in Miami, Ezequiel Hernández has participated in both national and international exhibitions, continuing his journey in the fascinating world of art His ability to capture significant moments and his distinctive approach have positioned him as a talented artist in constant evolution on the artistic stage.
born in Salta, northern Argentina, was surrounded by nature in her early years before relocating to the bustling capital, Buenos Aires The contrast between these two environments became a profound source of inspiration for her artistic creations Her notable series, "Se me voló la cabeza" (My Head Flew Away), replaces human heads with those of birds, symbolizing freedom of thought. Her artistic expressions extend beyond canvas paintings to unique skin art through tattoos. Academically trained in Fine Arts for five years Ressia has actively p both in the r exposure ena art gallery, w also conduct
Guys, you are a very creative and successful couple. Everything that you are doing, you are doing together: owning a tattoo salon, painting, travelling with your art, participating in the art exhibits. For me, you are a real example of the Twin Flame Union. Let me ask you, how everything has started.
SOL: We met each other at work. But this work had nothing to do with art: he was a barman, and I was a waitress. Besides the fact that it was love at first sight, we were united by one more thing: a passion for art Ezequiel was painting all the time, and I was drawing. When we were already in a relationship, we really wanted to get tattoos, but couldn't find a suitable master. Then we decided to try to do so ourselves: we bought the equipment, started practicing, and tattoo art became a huge part of our lives.
EZEQUIEL: Working in the gastronomic industry in Buenos Aires, we earned very good money, and everything went pretty well for us. But at the same time, we wanted to devote our whole lives to art so much, that at some point we had to make a difficult decision.
SOL: After about three years we moved to Palermo, Buenos Aires, which is a very cultural and artistic area, with a lot of art galleries around. There we opened our first studio, which was combining a tattoo salon and an art gallery. This way, people could not only get the art pieces on their skin, but also enjoy art on the walls. Then we had an interview on TV, and I became the first woman who was tattooing live We started participating in the art exhibits and fairs - both nationally and internationally, enjoying everything that we were doing. And here we are in Miami, happily living and working, exploring new opportunities for our art.
That’s so inspiring! I can tell that the art industry is very tough, and not everyone is able to make such a decision to leave a stable work, their native country, and immerse into the art world. What difficulties did you face on your artistic path?
SOL: Well, there are always any difficulties, and this decision was not easy for us. We were not born in the rich families, we were just simple waiters. But we believed in the energies, and we were very fortunate to have each other: It’s always easier to make decisions together, especially when your partner understands and supports you in everything. I think what helped us succeed was our ability to adapt very quickly.
Sure! What is most important in your worktattoo or painting?
EZEQUIEL: For me, it’s the same. The only difference is that you can’t redo a tattoo once it's already done So, the art of tattoo requires a lot of concentration. But artistically and academically, the principle of work is the same. Anyways, I prefer painting: it is more comfortable, and in this case I don’t depend on anyone. But it is definitely our work with tattoos that provides me this opportunity.
SOL: As you know, we were studying academic art a lot, especially the Renaissance period. In my works the background is always dark, while the central image comes to the fore, and the composition is influenced so much by the Old Masters’s works As for the concept, I always use the human body, and put the animal’s head on top, because I believe that the nature is something very important: this is what makes a human being think and reflect. Especially I like the birds: for me they are the embodiment of freedom.
EZEQUIEL: I am very inspired by the artistic photography and the cinema. That’s why my art is so cinematic, so atmospheric. I use a real photography for my work, and then convey them in painting, in my creative way. My art is inspired by the master artist Marc Tennant, and also by some of the movie directors (Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola). Talking about the style of work, I think the sun is a creator, but I am mostly like a transmitter, because I like to convey, to transmit the moment, the emotion of right here and right now Even the photography that forms the basis of my work, is always about the moment now.
SOL: Our everyday lifetime, a simple happiness that we have in every moment of this life. And my main inspiration is definitely our little son
EZEQUIEL: I paint the things that attract and inspire me: architecture, colours, and also a communication between people and things. When I am creating, I’m always happy, and this reflects in each of my piece. I am very inspired by the result that I see when the work is already done.
SOL: Maybe that sounds weird, but my dream is already came true: I live in Miami doing what I was always dreaming to do, with my beautiful family - my husband and my son, preparing for the exhibition in New York. I’ve never imagined that I would be where I am now.
SOL: Of course, I would love to have my works all over the world, that people can enjoy them, and be a famous artist But the truth is that I am already living the life of my dreams.
EZEQUIEL: I would like to be able to enjoy this life in every moment. And also keep creating and doing what I am doing now, being a good father for my son.
SOL: Focus on what you are doing, and be happy in this.
EZEQUIEL: Learn and practice every day. And don’t give up, no matter what.

With the rhythmic lull of the waves as background music and the golden hues of the setting sun as inspiration, participants find themselves immersed in a sensory feast that stimulates creativity and fosters inner peace.
Masha’s approach to teaching sunset painting is both accessible and enriching. She encourages her students to embrace spontaneity and express themselves freely, guiding them through various techniques to capture the fleeting beauty of the sunset on canvas. Whether they are seasoned artists or beginners, participants of all skill levels find themselves inspired and empowered under Masha’s guidance.
Beyond just painting techniques, Masha’s classes also serve as a form of therapy for many participants.
The act of communing with nature and translating its splendor onto canvas fosters mindfulness and emotional well-being. It’s not uncommon for participants to leave Masha’s classes feeling rejuvenated and spiritually enriched. Moreover, Masha’s classes offer an excellent opportunity for groups of friends and families to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.
The relaxed atmosphere of the beach coupled with the creative energy of the painting process cultivates an environment conducive to bonding and laughter. Whether it’s a group of friends seeking a new adventure or a family looking for a meaningful way to connect, Masha’s classes provide the perfect setting for shared experiences and unforgettable moments.
In essence, Masha Menshikova’s sunset painting on the beach art classes offer more than just an opportunity to learn painting techniques they provide a gateway to a deeper connection with nature, a sense of community, and a pathway to personal growth.
As the sun dips below the horizon, casting its final rays of light across the Ocean, participants of Masha’s classes find themselves not just painting a sunset but capturing a moment of pure serenity and beauty that will stay with them forever.

“My Work is based entirely on COLORS, and on being able to play with them on different planes and textures. I chose this topic first and foremost, because it frees me from myself, from my dark parts. The most creative and wonderful part is coming out of me. The colors give me life, and the most important thing is the feedback of the people who can appreciate it”.

The Gato Gordo is committed to exhibiting a diverse range of media, including photography, painting, sculpture, and digital art. The main goal of the gallery is giving opportunities to artists who want to show their work in Miami and promoting their work with great dedication and success.
In this interview we spoke with the Founder of the creative idea, Oscar Martinez, and the Gallery Director, Inna Malostovker.
We're a couple of artists who, like many others, have navigated the challenges of showcasing our work in fairs and galleries. We noticed the process was often daunting - either too expensive, overly complicated, or simply inaccessible. While some galleries offered opportunities, they came with steep costs. Others showed little interest, and certain fairs required representation through a gallery.
Faced with these hurdles, we had an idea: why not create our own gallery? A space where we could not only promote our own work but also support fellow artists facing similar obstacles. Starting out in a new country amplifies these challenges, making it even harder without established connections. That's why we founded Gato Gordo - to level the playing field and provide opportunities for artists seeking their
We aim to be a supportive platform, guiding artists on their path to recognition, bolstering their strengths, and nurturing professionalism in their artistic careers. Our concept revolves around fostering an appreciation for art, extending its reach to diverse audiences, and bridging the gap between those seeking to enrich their lives with art and the artists who create it.
We are already collaborating with emerging artists eager to showcase their creations, and we have also secured commitments from midcareer and established artists interested in representation.
We aim to feature a variety of artistic proposals, catering to diverse audiences. Our gallery strives to be inclusive and diverse, showcasing the wide array of artistic visions our artists are creating. Whether you're a seasoned art enthusiast or new to the scene, there will be something captivating for everyone

At present, Gato Gordo is already in motion. We've hosted several collective exhibitions in various cultural centers around the city and have also participated in smaller art fairs. However, in the very near future, we have plans to establish our own dedicated spacea headquarters from which we will showcase the diverse array of works by our represented artists.
In the pipeline, we'll soon be issuing calls for art to engage with even more artists.
We're also forging alliances with an art collective in New Jersey to host exhibitions featuring our artists in NJ and theirs in Miami. Additionally, there are exciting plans to explore new venues for art display. Stay tuned for more updates on these developments!
Emerging artists should consider collaborating with us for several reasons. Firstly, Gato Gordo is proactively pursuing numerous opportunities, ensuring a range of platforms for artists to showcase their work. Secondly, as artists ourselves, we understand the journey and will always strive to promote art in the most effective ways possible. Thirdly, we'll champion their proposals as if they were our own, dedicating ourselves wholeheartedly to their success
Moreover, Gato Gordo is poised to become a significant art hub in Miami very soon. By joining forces with us, emerging artists can tap into a burgeoning community and establish themselves within a prominent artistic landscape.
This week, we're taking part in an art fair as part of the Cuba Nostalgia event. Additionally, we're gearing up for a collective exhibition titled 'Man and Nature,' set to take place soon at a prominent cultural center in the city. In December, we'll be participating in Reddot International art fair.
Looking ahead, once we establish our own venue, we plan to host at least one exhibition per month, providing a consistent platform for artists to showcase their work.
