Welcome
to the second edition of our Magazine. We grow up every day with you. Thank you for being with us and building our huge art family
In this issue we would like to present you our new creative team, as well as our new talented artists
My name is Evgeniy Sonev, and I am the Image Director of the ART E$TATE Magazine. I have being a prestigious fashion photographer for more than 10 years, and have been working for a long time in Dubai, Paris and Kiev. To be honest with you, I can’t imagine my life without art and fashion. That’s why when Daria suggested me to be the part of the ART E$TATE, I was honoured to be one of the directors.
In this Summer Issue, we would like to charge you with our positivity and our creative energy.
Our world is immersed into a huge ocean of energy. We are flying in endless space at an inconceivable speed Everything around rotates and moves, because everything is the energy We have a huge goal in front of us: to find ways to extract this energy. Then, extracting it from this inexhaustible source, humanity will move forward with giant strides.
I believe that my art is an energy which I am sharing with you. And now, when you are reading my editor’s letter, my energy threads are connecting with you.
EDITOR'S LETTER
My artistic philosophy is about rebirth. Everyone who interacts with me will stay forever, because I will show them their real self without any borders that are blocking them. Every time I work with a person, I see a pure child inside them, I see their pain I’m approaching them delicately, trying to reveal it and transform it, to make this child happy, because we should use our pain as our strength. That’s why my work is not only a photoshoot. It is much more deep and complex. It is about transformation and spiritual healing.
Recently we have opened My Vision Space, a safe place for any stranger in our world, a home for creative people I believe that my mission is to transmit beauty and harmony, because my creative path was not easy Now I want to shine and to illuminate others their way
We are coming to this world naked, that’s why I’m trying to bare the soul, and sometimes even a body. My photo art is very sensual, because sensuality is a part of my creative concept. Only being naked and pure from inside, we can reborn and reveal our true self.
Starting from this edition of the ART
E$TATE Magazine, we are paying close attention to the photo content of each interview and publication. From now on, we are establishing higher standards for the photography, because our magazine conveys a special unique atmosphere. I am here to help you with your artistic image. So, are you ready to face yourself and discover your talents and aspirations through the stories of our heroes? Then be as open and clear as possible!

RANDALL J. SLAVIN
is an American entrepreneur, fine art dealer, and philanthropist As a premiere provider of international fine art, with galleries established in such locations as Shanghai, Vietnam, and Beverly Hills, Slavin is the proprietor of Winn Slavin Fine Art Slavin’s entrance into the art world began in 1997 when he founded Masterpiece Publishing, the company ’ s purpose being to connect esteemed collectors with quality artwork while at the same protecting and enhancing the reputations of his artists.
He’s since become the director of the Academy of Fine Art Foundation, a nonprofit formed to raise awareness and educate in the area of fine art and to promote philanthropic activities; the publisher of Art Confidential, a luxury lifestyle publication dedicated to the fine-art culture; and the CEO of WS Productions, for which he executive produced the cinematic short “Creation” and is currently in preproduction on its feature-length version

Mr. Slavin, you are the owner of the most successful gallery locations in Los Angeles When I was visiting them, I was wondering: How it is possible to manage such a fantastic luxury space with the blue-chip works by master artists? Every time I see you participating in the art fairs, it’s like an amazing show. You are also a director of the Academy of Fine Art Foundation The question is: How did you get started in this industry that has brought you such success?
My father was an artist, but he never managed to make a living at it He served in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, but when he retired, he wasn’t able to find gainful employment He decided to focus on his art Like many artists, he lacked the discipline and guidance it takes to be successful. That meant I spent most of my childhood in poverty and, as a result, had no interest in pursuing a career in the arts Instead, I pursued degrees in business and information systems and my first career was in technology. After about 15 years, I was bored of the field and started to look for something else. One day I was in Laguna Beach and walked into a gallery owned by Daniel Winn
Daniel is a brilliant artist and curator, but he needed help with the business side of things I started guiding him and the relationship developed In 1997, we started Masterpiece Publishing, an artist agency and wholesaler We focused on developing long-term relationships with artists, building their reputations and selling their artwork to retail galleries
A decade later, in response to fundamental changes in the art industry brought about by the Great Recession, we went upmarket. We de-emphasized prints and focused instead on high-end original paintings and sculptures We reduced the number of galleries that we sold to and became their strategic partner rather than simply a vendor
Eventually, we realized that no one could represent our artists in the retail market better than we could So in 2016, we entered into the retail gallery business directly In 2017, we opened our first location in Beverly Hills, followed rapidly thereafter by locations in Shanghai and Vietnam. Our most recent gallery on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills opened early in 2021
06
What an exciting story! What exactly do you think helped you in reaching such heights in the industry?
Well, I can say it was a combination of hard work, support, and a bit of luck As you know, the gallery business can be tough. Amongst colleagues, we often say that nobody in their right mind opens a gallery You have to love art You have to be willing work hard, make sacrifices You have to focus on developing artists and advocating their artistic visions to the collecting public Everything we have done before prepared us for having our own gallery However, it also required more hard work, a great deal of support from people who eventually became close friends and loyal collectors, and a certain amount of luck It's all part of this business!
Of course! Also, intuition and a business mindset Tell us in few words about the concept of your gallery and the artists you are representing.
Winn Slavin Fine Art is primarily focused on contemporary artists We offer Modern Masters as well, including Renoir, Picasso and others We're fortunate to represent the Argillet Estate, one of Dali’s prominent publishers. Modern Masters’ works have been experiencing significant price increases as the quantity of available works becomes more and more limited
It's becoming harder and harder to find good pieces, especially with solid provenance
Our focus is really on living Contemporary Masters where provenance is rarely at issue That allows us to respond to a client’s authenticity concerns by saying: "If you want to be absolutely sure that your work is authentic, ask the artist" (laughs) Success in the gallery business is really about being able to present to the market something that potentially has a big upside For example, prices of Old Master works have stabilized as there isn’t enough available to drive a growth market
With emerging artists who are properly represented, the sky’s the limit For example, we ’ ve seen tremendous appreciation of Sir Daniel Winn’s artwork. When we started offering his work in 2016, his larger originals were priced around $35,000 to $45,000 Now, an original of the same size is priced around $100,000 to $120,000 We’ve also seen a similar increase of the value of his sculptures. So, we are able to offer our collectors artwork with significant upside potential in addition to being artistically significant
Amazing! Talking about the artworks, do you have any preferences in styles or directions?
It really is about representation of quality artwork, artwork that displays both artistic significance and technical proficiency. We represent a bit of everything, but our focus has always been on representational art, particulary figurative Everybody has their own perceptions about trends in contemporary art For me, valuable art is not only something that has a message and is communicating about something important, but also has obvious skill behind it Some people like minimalism, some people like street art, but I believe that the most important thing is that the work communicates both artistic message and artistic proficiency.
I totally agree In your experience, what kind of art is dominating the market now?
It looks like street art is the current art market darling, but I don’t see that lasting indefinitely
always risky to predict trends, but I think there will ways be a special place in the market for art which monstrates artistic ability and transcends current society, rrent culture, or even an individual culture, as art is a iversal language and its purpose is to unite people
hich of your gallery projects are you most proud of?
urrently, it is our exploration of the confluence between art d film Last July we did the "Dark Matter" exhibition of Sir niel Winn’s artwork, and he was inspired to make a video his Quantum Mechanics series He started discussing it th Angel Vera, who had already made some videos for him, d it evolved into the short film "Creation".
is project is really something special, something that we e really proud of It is something that does address a eative process of the artist, but at the same time talks about eation generally When we finished the film and started eening it, we realized that there was something more here, igger story that should be explored So now, we are in preoduction on a full-length feature film of "Creation" with expected release in 2024 .
multaneously, we are also working on "Scarcity", a biopic out Sir Daniel Winn, chronicling his journey from child ugee of the Vietnam war to successful artist, and exploring e relationship between hardship and artistic vision. We’re preproduction now and anticipate a 2025 release coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon, the end of the war
I was at the screening of the Creation film and I can say that it is a piece of art itself
Yes, the first public screening was at the Directors Guild of America theatre in collaboration with the Asian World Film Festival in November 2022. We’ve since done two private screenings at the newly renovated Culver Theatre and have submitted it to multiple film festivals I’m proud to say that “Creation” has so far won three awards, two for best short film and one for best cinematography. The majority of festivals haven’t announced their winners yet, so I’m confident that list will grow! We consider it a work of cinematic art
That’s definitely true! If somebody approaches you to ask for advice about how to start a gallery business, what three tips would you give them to succeed?

1Do what you do with passion, but without illusion Be prepared to sacrifice
2 Be open to new ideas and recognize that change is the only constant When something new comes to you, you can fight it, or you can go with the flow. If you fight it, you will probably fail. But if you go with the flow, you stand a better chance to succeed
3 Understand that something can be learned from everyone who comes into your life - your clients, your artists, your colleagues
Thank you very much! We also would like to know your point of view concerning online art sales versus physical works of art. What kind of future do you see for this trend as it almost replaced traditional sales during pandemic?
Well, during the lockdown there was definitely a significant up-tick in online sales. There is no doubt in my mind that online sales are here to stay But I’m skeptical about the level at which people will buy online From my experience as a high-end gallery owner, art isn’t a commodity Most collectors buy physically because they want to be a part of the gallery experience They want to meet the artist in person, to go out for dinner or drinks with them, to go to the shows and unveilings. Our gallery is successful because we are providing an experience in addition to providing the art If you are buying something unique, you need to experience it in person and experience the process I don’t believe that online sales will eliminate that need
Thank you for this amazing and so informative conversation.

is an internationally recognized blue-chip artist, fine-art curator, awarded entrepreneur, highly respected philanthropist and without a doubt a prominent influencer of our times.
And to that you can now add award-winning filmmaker with his film “Creation” having won Best Short Film at the Montreal Shorts, Best Cinematography at the Venice Short Film Festival, and Best Long Short Form Short Film at the Experimental Dance & Music Film Festival.
In fact, slated for a 2024 release, Winn and his team are already in pre-production on a feature-length version of “Creation” which will be shot in such international locations as Iceland, Thailand, Costa Rica, and the US.
I flew to Los Angeles for a private screening of “Creation” and can honestly say it felt as though I’d been transported to another dimension, another time, and even another space With no dialogue or subtitles, the film relies on the visuals to convey Sir Daniel’s message. And when I discussed with him the idea of an interview, he said he’d love to instead have me write about my experience since he was interested in hearing what I took from the film. What follows here is just that: my object opinion and interpretation of “Creation”

“I want everyone to see and interpret it through the visual language, not a verbal medium. I want it to be emotional, intellectual, visceral, and cerebral.”
For me the main goal of every human is to understand the meaning of life Many religions as well as our society and various other systems teach us that life is predetermined, that there is a certain fate which is inalterable. And this was something I had agreed with until I began practicing the power of the mind Through that practice I was led to the realization that my life is the result of my creation. It’s a reflection of my thoughts, my emotions, and everything I transmit I realized that I can control the events of my life and even my environment.
And as amazing as this discovery was, it wasn’t long before I found myself slipping back into my old beliefs and questions about life: Who are we? Why are we here? And what is our purpose?
On my own creative path I’ve faced a number of difficulties And at times it seemed there was no point in moving on But there yet remained the faint idea deep within that I was not a victim; rather, that I was the creator of my own reality
It’s said that it’s always darkest before the dawn. And it’s precisely at such moments when those we most need in our life appear and, without realizing it, provide a new impetus and a fresh understanding for us Sir Daniel Winn has become just such a mentor for me He is one of the few contemporary artists who does more than just create valuable and unique works of art Through his creations Sir Daniel also helps make better lives
12
Having acquainted myself with the philosophy of Sir Daniel and his “Light Matter” exhibition, I discovered much about myself. So much so that since that time my life has been divided. There’s before Light Matter and there’s after Light Matter But it was Sir Daniel’s short film “Creation” that took it to a new level and helped me fully understand the transformational philosophy of this prominent artist
The artistic goal of Sir Daniel Winn is to share his vision Understanding his philosophy, the viewers of the “Creation” can better understand themselves As human beings, we share common experiences. We all have difficulties in life, ups and downs, sadness and happiness, good and bad And “Creation” can not only help us to understand these dichotomies but also help us to appreciate them For as Sir Daniel puts it, without darkness there can be no light Without the sour we would not appreciate the sweet. And without death how could we appreciate life?
I believe each viewer of the film will take away something unique Some may see it as science fiction with its setting and surrealism. Others perhaps fantasy or even drama. It could even be viewed as a documentary showing us Sir Daniel’s artistic process But honestly, to me, it’s really unlike anything I’ve seen before, which makes it difficult to fit into a specific category And it’s also about self-awareness and how each person ’ s life is impacted by their experiences, inviting viewers to interpret it in their own way, whether that’s spiritually, philosophically, scientifically, or religiously
“Creation” is profound It contains layers of messages It can even be viewed from the standpoint of the creation of man by God. It can be viewed from a mythological standpoint symbolic of the ancient Greek Medusa Gorgon who organically turned to stone. And I believe the lack of dialogue will prompt a unique interpretation for all who see it with none being right or wrong
13
“My goal is to give each individual their own interpretation
“My goal is to give each individual their own interpretation of what they want to see in this film and to help them of what they want to see in this film and to help them understand their existence in this world understand their existence in this world before they leave it.” before they leave it.”
In many traditions it is believed that man is created in the likeness of God. Whether that means physical characteristics is tough to say, since no one has ever seen God But “Creation” made me wonder if our likeness is more about our ability to create That each of us, not unlike God, is able to create our own reality during our lifetime
In “Creation” I saw two storylines, the first being the main character as a creator the artist who creates sculptures with his unique technique
The second story line is the idea of creation in general In my opinion, the mission of each of us is to create something that will remain for future generations to enjoy
Creation is in our nature It’s an ability It’s the reason we came into this world. And to me the film serves to remind us of this innate ability and that it is we who create our reality and how we are remembered when we leave
The tagline of the film is: “Creation begins where destruction ends” And the film certainly expresses this clearly. There’s the destruction of a clock and the creation of clay The destruction of clay and the creation of bronze The destruction of a shell and the creation of life. And in all of it lies an inherently divine nature
The film begins with a "dark" period during which the creator experiences a period of despair and hopelessness
14
But in the end, it is replaced with light symbolizing new insight and a new stage of life I also found it interesting that during the film time and space seem abstract, like they didn’t exist. Though there does seem to be a timeline, it does not seem linear There is a clock mechanism that, like a human heart, cannot run forever This mechanism is incorporated into a sculpture The clock, being nonorganic, is soulless But when the artist places it inside the sculpture, it becomes the living heart of the created lifeform In many ways “Creation” is like looking in a mirror where you not only see your physical self but also your soul
For me, “Creation” transcends the process of a master artist merely creating his art I see it as a message to humanity I see it as an effort to convey to those who see it that we must all live our lives and create a world that we can be proud of In this reality, in our world, we are just temporary guests. We are passengers. But there will come a time when we leave this “mirage” of a life and continue our journey, leaving our creations behind for new generations to experience
To me, this is what the final scene symbolizes: The artist departing this realm with his creations living on in his place.
In terms of the visual side of the film, it is impeccably shot It’s beautiful It’s organic It’s timeless And it speaks to the viewer in the visual language which allows anyone of any nationality or culture or religion or social status to understand and feel it. And in my opinion, it will definitely change the lives of all who do view it

JOAQUIN FANJUL JOAQUIN FANJUL JOAQUIN FANJUL MAGIC REALISM IN DIGITAL ART MAGIC REALISM IN DIGITAL ART
Joaquín, you are a distinguished DIGITAL ARTIST of our time Please tell us about your artistic career How did you get started in art?
Since I was very young at the age of 8, I began to immerse into the world of photography with my father, José Joaquín Fanjul Muñiz, a great photo artist who was already world-renowned and has since passed away Together we were working on the photos in the chemical laboratory that he had set up at home. It was there where I discovered my passion for artistic photography and began to learn the necessary techniques and processes to bring an image to life from the first shot to the final product.
I received a degree in Communication, Advertising, and Marketing. Also I have studied Photography, Lighting, Composition, Editing, Graphic Design, 3D Design, and have the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certification in Photoshop. In addition to my academic education and self-studying, I firmly believe in the importance of constant daily training
I was born and raised in Gijón, in the Principality of Asturias region, located in the north of Spain, in the south of Europe, surrounded by spectacular green landscapes, majestic mountains, and the imposing Cantabrian Sea, which inspires me daily
Tell us in few words about your artistic technique. What is its secret, and what makes it so unique?
My works are characterized by the using of powerful and vibrant colours, which convey a great sense of energy and life to each image In addition to this, I use other visual elements such as light, composition and various digital tools to achieve a vibrant and lively atmosphere in my works
To carry out my creative process, I rely on using such instruments as Blender 3D, Photoshop, Artificial Intelligence, Illustrator, Procreate, and vector drawing tools, which allow me to combine my artistic vision and create unique and innovative works that challenge the boundaries of traditional art
These digital tools provide me with the freedom to experiment and exploration of new forms and techniques to express my vision in each of my works

What is the process of creating your beautiful artwork like?
The idea, concept, and imagination are the fundamental starting points of my creative process Each artwork begins with inspiration, a sketch, or a clear idea in my mind. For me, the creative process is a balance between artistic vision, technical skills, and the using of technology and digital tools that allow me to take my work to new levels
I firmly believe that creativity goes beyond technical ability or skill in executing an artwork It is a personal and original approach to artistic expression, an open-minded attitude, and a constant exploration to create works that convey an emotional and meaningful message. Each artwork I create is unique and reflects my personal vision and style
What is the main theme of your work?
The style of my work is based on magical realism, which combines detailed and precise techniques with dreamlike and surreal elements This style creates a unique and mysterious effect that leads the viewer into an imaginary and complex world I use symbolic elements to invite the viewer to reflect on the meaning of the artwork Through my art, I try to create a space for contemplation and inner exploration. My work is characterized by structural purity and a great expressive force that allows me to build spaces in service of the image, using perspective, volumes, textures, and visual narratives to provoke a sensory adventure for the viewer's gaze
20
What are your latest works or art collections?
There are always 8 collections presented on my webpage ( https://fanjulart.com) that are updated regularly, but I would like to focus on the last two: Invaded Desert and Silk and Shadows, without overlooking the very recent Spirits and Absences collections that I particularly like.
The Invaded Desert Collection focuses on nature and its ability to recover and transform a barren landscape into one full of life, beauty, and color, conveying a message of hope and environmental protection. The presence of abstract elements and the figure of a woman represent the complexity and strength of nature and its role in preserving the environment On the other hand, Silk and Shadow stands out for its ethereal and delicate aesthetic that evokes the image of the Asian woman in a harmonious and mysterious environment The artwork conveys the idea of the Asian woman as an enigmatic and fascinating figure, holding secrets and emotions in the shadows The presence of minimalist objects reinforces the delicacy and sophistication of Asian culture, paying tribute to its role as a source of inspiration in art and fashion.
21
The Palace of Lost Time Collection
In your Silk and Shadow collection, you draw a lot of inspiration from the image and culture of Asian women. Tell us more about that.
It is a tribute to Asian women and all women in general. Asian women have had a great impact on the world of art Since ancient times, they have been recognized for their skill and dedication in various forms of artistic expression, such as music, dance, and visual arts. In music, they have demonstrated their talent in different genres and styles, from traditional to contemporary. In dance, they have developed unique techniques that have influenced modern dance worldwide, and have been recognized for their grace, precision, and strength in classical dance In visual arts, they have created beautiful and complex works of art that reflect their unique culture and experiences, using different mediums and techniques such as painting, sculpture, installation, and multimedia art
Thank you so much for this unique conversation, and for sharing your beautiful artwork and your philosophy with us.

The works by contemporary South Korean artist Kiseok Kim are becoming increasingly popular in the art market, not only in the artist's homeland, but also in the Western countries, particillary in the United States. Kiseok gained a strong artistic background while studying and working in New York, which allowed him to reach the international level and become recognizable at the top US art fairs
The culture of K-Pop and KDrama is becoming more and more relevant and taking on a global dimension. Kiseok Kim was able to combine in his works the traditional, classical style of painting (portrait), classical technique (oil on canvas), and the concept of modern realities.
PLASTICSERIES OILONCANVAS
Creating portraits of his Plastic Series, which has become popular all over the world, the artist is inspired by modern trends and pop icons. His work is the quintessence of painting and fashion
The main goal of the artist is to show the "plasticity" of the modern world, its superficiality, but at the same time, its depth and eternal classical beauty that never goes out of fashion.
A beautiful and forever young woman is always at the center of the composition of Kiseoka's works, and the background of the painting embodies the culture of social media, the Internet and the fashion brands.
The artist himself likes to compare his portraits with still lifes, because they do not have a positive or negative color, and do not express any emotion, but they capture the eternal beauty that is appreciated at all times COLOUR SENSES GALLERY

His recent work is the portrait related to contemporary people in the media and he entitled this series “Plastic Series”, connected with the idea of plasticity His "Plastic Series" in oil on canvas is featured in public and private collections throughout the United States and South Korea.
"My work is the portrait related to contemporary people but there is no specific model I choose something from them and shape it according to my taste, so why I entitled my recent work "Plastic" connected with the idea of plasticity. The word “Plastic” is a very attractive word to me. It can be everything and is widely used in contemporary culture. With this idea, I also take a close look at everyday objects, especially patterns and colors in the media, and then I reflect them on canvas with my language.
My art starts from the search for some sort of human condition in contemporary culture The images on the canvas reflect my imagination as well as styles in popular culture and the media. They are expressed as symbols, colors, or realistic descriptions".

n v ng o fashion, history and painting in the work of an avant-garde artist
Maria, I am a big fan of your work and as I know your unique artistic style combines painting and folk costume design. Please, tell us in few words about your creative background.
I am a second-generation artist My father Sergei Timofeevich Tsirkin was a famous Russian landscape painter It can be said that my love for art started from my birth My first artistic specialty is a theater costume designer. I graduated from the Theatrical Costume Department at the Ryazan Art College named after G Wagner in Russia My huge interest and love for the traditional folk costume originated there In addition, at the Ryazan Art School I received a powerful training in the academical drawing, easel painting and composition. My second special education is an Artist in Textile. I graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Textile Academy named after Kosygin in Moscow It was there that I learned the principles and subtleties of working with color harmonies, decorative painting and ornamental composition
Your background is really powerful! And what is the main concept of your work?
My concept is to see, to live and to convey to the viewer the spiritual essence of the subject, to express "the beating of my heart" about the subject that inspired me. I achieve it by the method of ornamental stylization of the image With the help of stylization I overcome the realistic vision of the object, I bring the image to a color spot, a sign, a symbol, and thereby expose the plastic and semantic essence of this object, reaching its foundation.
What famous artists do you consider your masterminds and teachers?
THE SKY IS LOOKING AT US
OIL ON CANVAS. 2022
Russian icon painters Andrei Rublev and Dionysius, and also such masters as Paul Cezanne, Henri Rousseau, Henri Matisse, Giorgio Morandi, Wassily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Alexandra Ekster, Lyubov Popova, Frida Kahlo, Oleg Tselkov, Jaid Dzhemal, Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
How do you think what makes your style so unique?
The uniqueness of my style lies in the combination of the theme and principles of depicting traditional folk culture, the traditions of Russian icon painting and the foundations of avant-garde art.
If not art, what would you be doing and why?
I can’t imagine myself outside of art (laughs) If I had not become an artist, then perhaps I would have taught the history of painting

SERAPHIM OIL ON CANVAS. 2022
Such a creative crisis occurs sometimes with every artist. At these moments, I try to “just live”, observe life around, go to some kind of a trip with likeminded friends. New impressions helps a lot!
What is your biggest dream as an artist?
My dream is that inspiration and creative forces will not leave me as long as possible
Who do you create your work for? Who is your main connoisseur?
My viewers are people who are interested in history, fashion and culture They are intellectuals who are not indifferent to beauty.
What is your main inspiration?
Wow! A lot of things can inspire me, from the rhythm of color spots in traditional peasant clothes, the words of a folk song, a folk saying, contemplation of icons, folk popular prints, works of contemporary artists, to the fragments of texts from Christian spiritual literature, the statements of philosophers of different times You never know where inspiration will catch you Inspiration is an endless space!
What challenges have you encountered along your creative path and how have you overcome them?
To date, the main difficulty that I have had in my work is the question: What should I do next?

Merlyn, you are extremely successful in fashion industry worldwide, being a model, a beauty queen, a fashion designer, an award-winning bodybuilder, and a fashion editor. How did you manage to achieve all of those?
First of all, I would like to thank the ART E$TATE Magazine for this wonderful opportunity to be part of its Fashion Editorial It is a great honour for me.
The key of my success has been nothing but the mix of preparation, determination and hard work. One can have strong will but no preparation, or vice-versa, or one can be a hard worker just for a certain period of time. One will always need these three qualities in complex to reach where they want to be.
What prompted you to start a fashion career?
Since I was a child I was fascinated by colours and shapes As a teenager, my interest in designers, fashion and modelling became stronger. As an adult, I decided to continue with professional education in fashion to create opportunities for me to work in the industry
What is your professional background?
I have a degree in Finances, Business and Administration. After that I did a Post Graduation Fashion Communication Retail at FAD International Academy, and after my PG, I did an Executive MBA in Marketing and Retail Management at the Swiss School of Business.
42
That's impressive! Tell us in few words about the most prominent fashion designers you worked with.
I have had a wonderful opportunity to work with great designers like Valentino and D&G. And I have been influenced enormously by both of them.
I know you have your own fashion brand. What is its concept about?
La Palmera is the name of my Exclusive Swimming Wear The concept is a Handcrafted Haute Couture line. Swarovski, embroideries, as well as exclusive fabrics and manufacturing make my brand distinctive
What do you think about contemporary art?
Strictly speaking, the term "contemporary art" refers to art made and produced by artists living today. I love today's artists work, it is a respond to a global environment that is culturally diverse, technologically advancing, and multifaceted
Who is your favorite artist?
It is definitely Leonardo DaVinci He was not just an artists, he was also a scientist and a musician His work is unique and immortal His innovative techniques used in laying on the paint, his detailed knowledge of anatomy, his ingenious use of the human forms in a figurative composition, and the using of sfumato make DaVinci the most admirable artist for me and a role model for many other artist.
Do you consider fashion as an art direction?
Definitely Fashion and art share the same composition: ‘Creativity’, which is intend to produce or create visual outputs reflected on garments, lifestyle, publications, media, environments, communications and symbols
What is wearable art for you?
Wearable art clothing is what allows individuals to showcase their individuality, creativity, and personal style in a way that traditional clothing cannot. Clothing is designed and individually made mostly by hand to express its creator's unique esthetics and to make an artistic statement. It is almost like a blend of visual arts, haute couture, and show fashion.
43
What is a definition of beauty for you?
For me beauty is an individual-wise concept, where qualities in a person exalts body, mind and spirit.
It is as simple as someone being him or herself, it radiates when you embrace what you are. It simply radiates.
What is your biggest dream about your career?
To bring my brand to a top level as well as to achieve the biggest beauty titles to finally dedicate myself to help others achieving their goals
What was your biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement has been to be able to live in more than 11 countries. Certainly I feel very privileged, because that multicultural experience have been created a wonderful impact on my life.
What tips would you give to an aspiring model who just started their career?
My first advice is get well prepared, which means education and training.
Then dedication and practice. That will help to improve your skills and to be more exposed and recognized
Never give up and embrace criticism, regardless which will be the result of your work Keep going learning your mistakes. That will make you stand stronger
Be organized and committed. You will develop determination, and this will lead you to succeed

now dominated by street art and pop art directions However, in addition to this, a huge layer of the South Florida art scene is occupied by blue chip Cuban art
This summer colour senses gallery (Wynwood, Miami) hosted an exclusive art exhibit 'Encounters', in collaboration with Gortazart Gallery
This unique group show displayed the collectible pieces by the most prominent blue-chip Cuban artists Among them - such modern masters as Victor Manuel (1897 - 1969), Wifredo Lam (1902 - 1982), Mariano Rodriguez (19121990), Cervando Cabrera Moreno (19231981) And also such contemporary art influencers, as Kcho, Ernesto Rancaño and Jose Bedia
Sometimes you can spend many years traveling the world in search of "your" work But when such an encounter finally occurs, it is definitely a long-term relationship for all the life.
Today contemporary Cuban vanguard art plays an important role on the art stage In addition to the well-known masters mentioned above, the 'Encounters' exhibit displayed collectible pieces of such artists, as Esteban Leyva, Ibrahim Miranda, Jose Antonio Figueredo and Jose Carlos Imperatori

MATERIAL VIBE
A space that changes consciousness. A space that turns light into material. A space that dissolves material and transforms it. The project created by innovative art curators Irina Bogatikova and Olga Mofa is an experimental exhibit that expresses the manifesto of a Human of the new times
The main concept of the project is a combination of cosmogony, universal vibe and completely "earthly" material sensations. The combination of high spiritual-cosmic energy and dense material.
Gaining this experience, the viewer undergoes a deep transformation to the Human of the new times, which means spiritually Supramental and, at the same time, material.
Previously, these two definitions were separated, and it was the tragedy of human's struggle with themselves
The new Superman is organic, and perceives all phenomena simultaneously.
As part of the Material Vibe exhibit, the viewer explores positive states of consciousness: happiness, sensuality, calmness, joy, new knowledge, etc Negative emotions, as well as tensions and conflicts, drain the energy.
Material Vibe project consists of five creative corners, each of which enhances the concept, and makes viewing the exhibit more organic:
1.Sacred Symbolism and Primary Material;
2. Existential Surrealism and the search for the primary source of the material;
3. Up-Cycling Art;
4. The vibrational theory of the seasons;
5. Metaphysical Abstraction.

is a contemporary artist whose work interwines figurative art and abstraction. Objects can become abstract, as well as abstract can turn into figurative Yulia calls this movement "Meta". "META" (from the Greek meta"between", "after", "beyond") is a transition to something new, a change of state or transformation. The artist combines the plane of the canvas with the relief, adding sometimes a sheen of gold leaf, and using other techniques She uses a harmonious color palette, symbols and signs, images and meanings that help people make their life more interesting and happy With the atmosphere of Yulia's paintings, she conveys a message that everyone has their own "Meta" and we are all united in a common global "Meta". This kind of art becomes a universal international language that unites people

ALEX VAULIN
The compositions of this master artist from Europe is an exciting journey through forms that are in constant development His creative credo is based on the idea of constant growth, openness and circulation of information flows Most of Alex's works captured some transitional moments in the development of certain forms. This is the effect of the continued growth of forms, the potential development and spread of color in all directions
Here the forms vibrate and create the illusion of our presence, a kind of "peeping" behind the most intimate moments of the evolution of the form The viewer sees it in those moments when it is determined: whom to become in this world or how to leave it.
