AWARD WAGE PAY INCREASE FOR ALL!
We are thrilled to share that following the Fair Work Commission’s (FWC) recent Annual Wage Review decision, a wage increase will be implemented under the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 (SCHADS). This adjustment will positively affect over 150,000 dedicated workers across Australia, including our dedicated Allcare team, starting from 1 July 2024.
This adjustment could not come at a better time, given the cost of living, which has presented many with challenges. We at Allcare are committed to rolling out these changes with the onset of the new financial year, ensuring that our team members receive the benefits they deserve for their unwavering commitment and hard work.
In addition to sharing this fantastic news, we also want to offer you some practical tips on effectively maximising your upcoming pay raise amidst these economically taxing times.
Tips to save you money:
• Access and use your employee benefits FLARE app, which can save you money every day with discounts available at Coles, Woolworths, JB HIFI, Amazon, Kmart, Rebel, The Good Guys, Priceline, Amart BWS, Event cinemas, Ikea, Harvey Norman and many more.
• Also, through FLARE the team can help you compare and save on your energy bills, home loans, mobile and internet plans and health insurance.
• Use apps like Motor Mouth to check where the best fuel prices are in your area.
• If you use tolls, check your eligibility to claim toll relief on your Service NSW app. I received over $800 cash back from my toll claim. You may also be eligible for free registration through the program.
You may also be eligible for other savings through the Service NSW site, so make sure you check if assistance is available for many families: https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/savings-finder
We value each of you not just as employees but as vital members of the Allcare family. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we hope this wage increase brings a positive change to your daily life.
Stay tuned for more details in our upcoming communications. The increase will be applied from the first full pay period on or after 01/07/2024 which is 01/07/2024 - 07/07/2024.
