We were absolutely delighted to celebrate International Day of People with Disability, bringing together our participants and staff for an intimate yet impactful event brimming with joy, learning, and reflection. With every shared smile and every insightful conversation, we deepened our connections and reaffirmed our commitment to building an inclusive and supportive society for all. This celebration wasn’t just about a single day; it was about recognising and uplifting the spirit that makes our community so extraordinary, every day.
Unforgettable Moments: A Day of Funand Games
Apex Day Program was filled with a buzz of excitement as everyone gathered for a day of meaningful activities that engaged everyone and sparked thoughtful discussions. From interactive games to creative challenges, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
“These activities allowed us to have fun and promoted understanding and empathy, creating a space where everyone felt valued and included”, said Kristy, Team Leader.
We also took time to reflect on the significance of International Day of People with Disability and its role in raising awareness about accessibility and support. It was a chance to share stories, ideas, and experiences that inspire us all to strive for a world where all abilities can thrive.
Goodie Bags and Empowering Books: A Celebration of Connection and Learning
As part of the celebration, staff eagerly handed out goodie bags brimming with delightful surprises that lit up everyone’s faces!
These bags, filled with fun items, showcased the impact of small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness.
We also offered a curated selection of books, providing invaluable insights on disability awareness, inclusivity, and personal growth. These resources are perfect for fostering empathy and understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by individuals with disabilities.

This day was more than just a celebration; it was an opportunity to reflect on how we can create a more inclusive society. International Day of People with Disability reminds us that diversity is a strength, and it’s essential that we continue working towards breaking down barriers to ensure everyone has equal opportunities to participate and succeed.

• No changes to functionality – Your account details, tools, and access will remain the same. You’ll still have all the features you currently rely on for your work.
• Updated links – Employee resources currently hosted on swagapp.com will migrate to employmenthero.com. We’ll share the new links closer to the rebranding date to ensure a smooth transition.

The rebranding to Employment Hero Work reflects a commitment to enhancing users’ experiences. While the name and branding are evolving, the purpose remains the same: providing a platform that supports your work needs efficiently and intuitively.

This is a friendly reminder regarding the on-call procedure to ensure smooth operations during weekends and public holidays.
1. Weekend On-Call Hours: The on-call service is available only from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends.
2. Public Holidays: On public holidays, the on-call (1300 219 811) service will be the only point of contact for urgent matters during the specified hours.
Please ensure that all non-urgent inquiries or concerns are directed through the appropriate channels during regular business hours. This will help us manage resources effectively and respond to emergencies efficiently.
