From Ona, West Virginia, Brandon Conrad is bringing heat to the mound and strength to the hot corner as a pitcher and third baseman for the Ona Milton Indians. Wearing #37, Brandon has been playing baseball since he was just four years old, and his love for the game continues to grow with every pitch, play, and teammate he meets.
One of his standout moments this season? Throwing 11 pitches in a single inning—9 strikes, 2 balls, and 0 walks. It’s the kind of performance that shows not only his control and skill as a pitcher but also his calm under pressure.
A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, Brandon looks up to Ronald Acuña Jr., but his true role model is much closer to home: his dad. “I look up to him. He does a lot for me and with me,” Brandon shares—proof that support at home is a huge part of his success. Off the field, Brandon enjoys hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and four-wheeling—a true outdoorsman who balances sports with adventure. He says the best part of being on a team is “getting to learn more about baseball and being with new players,” a testament to his love of the game and the bonds it creates.
And behind all his hard work is a heartfelt message from his parents:
"You are a leader, a great player, and someone who I would want on my team every single day of the week. We are so proud of you— always."
With talent, humility, and heart, Brandon Conrad is a name to watch on the diamond and beyond.

Inspired by her older brother Ayden, who she proudly calls her biggest role model, Maycie shares, “I grew up watching him play sports and wanted to follow in his footsteps.” She also looks up to NBA superstar Steph Curry and cheers for Marshall University as her favorite team.
When asked about life outside of sports, Maycie keeps it simple: “Ball is LIFE.” For her, being on a team is all about making memories with friends—a reminder that while the wins are sweet, the relationships are what last.

EASTERN ELITE | #0 | CENTER BACK
Ten years on the field have shaped Braxtin Carter into the tough, smart, and reliable defender every team needs. As a center back for Eastern Elite and Kentucky Premier League, Braxtin anchors the defense with confidence and control—always ready to read the field, shut down the opposition, and lead by example.
Hailing from Milton, West Virginia, Braxtin was drawn to the game at an early age by simply watching it and falling in love. That early spark has grown into a decade-long passion, one that reached a new high this season with a huge win at the Blue Chip tournament alongside her teammates—one of her favorite memories to date.
When asked about her favorite player, Braxtin doesn’t hesitate: Trinity Rodman. Like Rodman, Braxtin brings intensity, talent, and heart to every match. But off the field, she finds her biggest role models even closer to home—her parents. “They always inspire me to do my best,” she says, reflecting the same commitment they’ve shown in supporting her journey.
Outside of soccer, Braxtin enjoys reading and spending time with her friends—two things that help her recharge before stepping back onto the pitch. And when it comes to what she values most about being on a team? It’s all about the friendships. “The best part is the bond we build together,” she says.
Focused, fearless, and full of passion, Braxtin Carter is a force to be reckoned with—and her soccer story is just getting started.

Off the field, Julia keeps things simple and joyful—she loves playing outside, enjoying the freedom and fun that comes with being active and adventurous. But what really makes the game special for her is the team atmosphere. “The best part of being on a team is making new friends,” she says.
Julia draws inspiration from Jayda Coleman, her favorite player, and even more so from her big sister, Jenna, who not only cheers from the stands but sets a great example in life. “Jenna is a good person and always comes to support me at my games,” Julia shares with a smile.

By Nate Thompson

In sports, we learn the importance of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. But as athletes of faith, our drive doesn’t just come from the scoreboard—it comes from the words of Jesus. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus teaches:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
This verse reminds us that no matter how much we love the game, our first priority should be putting God at the center of everything we do. That means competing with integrity, respecting our teammates and coaches, and showing kindness to our opponents. Wins and losses will come and go, but living out our faith leaves a lasting impact.
When you step onto the field or court, ask yourself: Am I playing just for myself—or am I playing to honor God? By putting Him first, we discover a deeper joy in the game, one that isn’t tied to stats or trophies.
So next time you suit up, remember Matthew 6:33. Compete with passion, but also with faith—because in God’s eyes, the way you play matters far more than the final score.

But her favorite part of the game? “Playing with people you’re comfortable with and have fun playing with,” she says.
