POCA DOTS | # 72 | RIGHT TACKLE
Powerful, focused, and always ready for contact, Gavin Michael Fore is the kind of player every team wants on the line. As a right tackle for Poca High School, Gavin wears number 72 and brings toughness, discipline, and leadership to every snap.
Gavin has been playing football for six years, and his love for the sport started with one simple truth — he just likes physical sports. That passion has fueled his growth into a dominant force on the field, known for his strength and relentless energy. His favorite moment from this season? Simple: “Pancakes.” Few things beat the feeling of taking control on the line and helping pave the way for big plays.
Inspired by his favorite player, Max Crosby, Gavin models his game after Crosby’s intensity and work ethic. “Maximum effort on every play,” he says — a motto that perfectly sums up his own approach to football.
Off the field, Gavin enjoys playing video games, a balance that helps him relax and recharge between practices and games. His favorite team, the Las Vegas Raiders, gives him another reason to stay locked in on Sundays.
When asked what the best part of being on a team is, Gavin doesn’t hesitate:
“Comradery.”
The friendships, the brotherhood, and the shared effort toward a common goal make every game day worth it.
His dad’s message says it best: “Play hard and leave it all on the field.” And that’s exactly what Gavin Michael Fore does — every game, every down, every time.

NITRO WILDCATS | #1 | RB, WR, CB, LB
Whether he’s sprinting through defenders as a running back or locking down receivers on defense, Jeremiah Swayne plays the game with heart, grit, and speed. A key player for the Nitro Youth Football League’s Wildcats, Jeremiah brings intensity and energy to every snap, showing just how much two years of dedication can achieve.
His favorite moment this season? Taking the field at running back—a position where he gets to shine with the ball in his hands and make big plays for his team. Inspired to start playing by his friends, Jeremiah quickly fell in love with football, and now he's a multi-position athlete making an impact all over the field.
A proud fan of the Buffalo Bills and star quarterback Josh Allen, Jeremiah models his game after players who bring toughness and leadership. But when it comes to life, his greatest role model is even greater: “Jesus, because He died for us,” Jeremiah says, reflecting the faith that motivates him both on and off the field.
When he’s not playing football, Jeremiah loves staying active— whether it’s swimming at the pool, hanging out outside, or diving into other sports. For him, the best part of being on a team is simple: “Playing with friends.” That camaraderie keeps him coming back and pushing harder every season.
With a team-first mindset, strong faith, and a drive to "outwork everyone," Jeremiah Swayne is a name to remember—on the field today and for seasons to come.

NITRO LITTLE LEAGUE – MCMILLIAN COACH PITCH | # 32 | 2 BASE ND
From Nitro, West Virginia, Kane McMillian is swinging big and leading with heart as a key player for the McMillian Coach Pitch team in Nitro Little League. Wearing #32 and locking down second base, Kane has become a clutch performer for his team—especially this season, where he proudly led the team in RBIs.
Kane has been playing baseball for four years, a journey that began with a glove, a bat, and special games of catch with his dad. That bond helped spark his love for the sport and has fueled his drive to get better each season.
His favorite team is the Cincinnati Reds, and he looks up to Elly De La Cruz for his exciting style of play. But Kane’s biggest role model in life is Jesus. “He gave his life for me and he is kind,” Kane says, showing maturity, humility, and a strong foundation of faith.
Off the field, Kane enjoys video games, and on the field, he thrives by spending time with his friends and learning more about the game he loves. For Kane, being part of a team means growing together and having fun while doing it.
With the proud support of his family—“Kane, we are so proud of you! From Nitro, West Virginia, Noah Whittington is making his mark on the football field as a dedicated lineman for the Nitro Wildcats. Wearing #87 and playing in his first year, Noah has quickly become a team favorite— known for his determination, strength, and positive attitude.
Noah's favorite part of the season so far? The memories he's made with friends, both on and off the field. For him, football is about more than just the plays—it’s about the people. That team spirit and camaraderie shine through in everything he does.
A fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Noah looks up to Travis Kelce on the football field, but when it comes to inspiration outside of the game, his biggest role model is Haiden Deegan, a professional motocross rider. “He’s awesome,” Noah says, showing his passion for both sports and high-powered rides.
Outside of football, Noah has a love for dirt bikes, bringing the same energy and adventure to the track that he brings to the field. Whether it’s racing on two wheels or holding the line for his teammates, Noah is all about action, effort, and fun.

Outside of cheer, Haddie loves horseback riding, a hobby that lets her stay active and adventurous while spending time outdoors. Hunter’s favorite player is close to home — her sister, who inspires her to stay strong and confident. She also looks up to her mom, who doubles as her coach and biggest supporter. “She always handles everything that comes her way,” Hunter says. “She’s an amazing coach and role model.”
When she’s not pitching or practicing, Hunter enjoys spending time with animals and playing Roblox, showing her playful and creative side. Her favorite team, the WVS Yellowjackets, keeps her motivated to play with pride and passion for her hometown.
For Hunter, the best part of being on a team is simple: “Having fun.” She believes that enjoying the game and supporting her teammates is what makes the sport truly special.

This season’s highlight for Ryleigh was the cheer competition, where all her hard work and dedication paid off. “It was so much fun performing with my teammates,” she says, reflecting the pride and joy that come from being part of a tight-knit squad.
Ryleigh’s favorite part of being on a team is simple but heartfelt: “Teammates.” To her, cheer is more than just stunts and chants — it’s about friendship, teamwork, and supporting each other through every challenge and celebration.
When she’s not cheering, Ryleigh loves playing with her friends and doing crafts, showing her funloving and creative side. Her favorite team, WVU, keeps her inspired to work hard and dream big, both on and off the mat.

Her favorite moment from this season was a special one — winning 1st place in the open individual competition for C Team, all while having her mom as her coach. “It was amazing to win, but having my mom there made it even better,” Raegan says with pride.
Raegan’s love for cheer began with family inspiration — she started cheering because she wanted to be like her older sister, Addison, who she describes as her idol. “She works really hard and practices a lot,” Raegan says. “I want to be just like her.”
When she’s not cheering, Raegan stays active on the field, playing softball where she covers outfield and shortstop. She also enjoys spending time with her friends — one of her favorite parts of being on a team. “I love the uniform and I love all my friends,” she says with a smile.
Her favorite college teams are Ohio State and Alabama, representing the teams her dad and stepdad love — showing that for Raegan, family pride runs deep.
Her biggest inspirations off the mat are her parents, who she says mean everything to her. “They take me to practices, come to my games, and always cheer for me,” she says. “I love having three parents who support me in everything I do.”
Their encouragement says it best: “Thank you for being at all my games, taking me to practices, and always cheering for me. I love having three parents — it means so much to me you’re at everything I do!”
With her determination, family support, and unstoppable enthusiasm, Raegan Parsons is already on her way to becoming a standout athlete — both in cheer and beyond.

By Nate Thompson

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
In this verse, Paul writes about how in all things we do, no matter how small, that we should use it as an opportunity to glorify God. In all parts of the routine of our lives we should reflect our devotion and gratitude, from the meals we eat, the conversations we have and how we act on and off the field, every moment reflects our devotion and gratitude toward Him.
When we lose, we must do so with grace. In Psalms 37: 23-24 it says “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” Even when we stumble, miss the shot, lose the game, or fall short of what we hoped for, this verse reminds us that failure isn’t final. With faith, every setback becomes part of the path God is using to strengthen and guide us.
When winning we must do so in a humility. James 4:10 says “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” True victory doesn’t come from proving we’re better, it comes from recognizing where our strength really comes from. Let your success point upward, humility invites God’s favor far more than pride ever could.
Our faith isn’t confined to Sunday mornings; it’s lived out every day. On and off the field, in victory and defeat, making ourselves living testimonies of God’s grace. Win or lose, every moment on and off the field is a chance to honor God, not just with our talent, but with our attitude, our humility, and our heart.
