A NOTE FROM THEM:

My favorite things about the Y are the people that come into the Y. I was never a morning person before I started working the opening shift. A NOTE FROM THEM:

Stephanie Grow

Branch Director - Fergus Falls

A NOTE FROM THEIR SUPERVISOR:

Steph is always a ray of sunshine that truly embodies the mission of the Y through her every day interactions In our short time working together one of my favorite stories is when after a few short months in Fergus Falls she surprised the morning coffee guys by creating the “Round Table of Knowledge” so that everyone could be at the table. This is just one small gesture from listening (and joking with the guys), that made a tremendous impact

If I had to capture my favorite part of my job in one word, it would be GROWTH Over the past 15 years, I’ve witnessed it in so many forms children discovering new skills, staff stepping into their own leadership, teams uniting to create lasting impact I’ve grown alongside them, moving from assistant teacher to director, to regional director, and now into my role as Branch Director

Each step has given me the privilege of not only contributing to the Y’s mission but also watching others rise into their fullest potential. There is something truly powerful about rolling up your sleeves, working side by side with people who believe in the same purpose, and then seeing them flourish in ways they never imagined

For me, the greatest joy has been helping others find their strengths, uncover their leadership, and believe in themselves while continuing to stretch and evolve in my own journey. Growth has not only shaped my career, it has shaped who I am.
