Programming of the first master card

Programming | MifareFlex

1. Create master cards (first time usage or when a reset is done):

3. Emergency opening: The master card is held up to the antenna field, the lock ticks while the master card is held up to the antenna field two additional times while it is ticking.

> A master card has been programmed.

5. Delete all transponder/cards: One master card is held up to the antenna field, after which it ticks for approx. 5 seconds. While it is ticking, the master card is held up to the antenna field twice, the lock is unlocked. When unlocked the master card is held up to the antenna field two more times . Confirmation sound after approx. 1 second.

> all transponder/cards have been deleted.

Hold the first master card to the antenna field, the lock ticks, a second and also a third master card can be programmed while it is ticking (confirmation melody).

4. Delete transponder/cards individually: One master card is held up to the antenna field, after which it ticks for approx. 5 seconds. While it is ticking, the program med transponder/card is held against the antenna field (short signal tone).>This transponder is deleted

2

Hold the master card to the antenna field, the lock ticks for approx. 5 seconds (confirmation melody).

Program second and third master cards

> the lock unlocks and remains unlocked.

Attention: Take the master card away from the antenna field immediately after unlocking. Otherwise all programmed transponder s / master cards will be deleted (as described in point 5 and 6)

2. Program transponder/card: One of the created master cards is held up to the antenna field, after which it ticks for approx. 5 seconds. While it is tick ing, the transponder is held against the antenna field (confirmation melody).>Transponder has been programmed

> Second and third master card have been programmed.

Programming | MifareFlex 3 6. Delete master card(s): One master card is held up to the antenna field, after which it ticks for approx. 5 seconds. While it is ticking, hold the master card against the antenna field twice and the lock unlocks. When unlocked, hold the master card four more times against the antenna field. A long sound arises. > all master cards are deleted. Attention: After deleting the master cards, the lock waits for new programming cards (see point 1) 7. Functions of the RESET button: • Switching the sound on and off (sound for transponder identification): Press the reset button once briefly for 1 second (2 short signal tones) > The sound was switched off at the lock Press the reset button once briefly for 1 second (confirmation melody) > The sound was switched on at the lock • Delete all transponders and all master cards Press the reset button for 3 seconds (1 long signal tone) > All transponders and master cards have been deleted from the lock. Important: The mode is not deleted by a RESET. Attention: After deleting all transponder and master cards, the lock waits for new master cards (see point 1)

Freelocker & Possibilities

Principle of the Freelocker (free choice of cabinet or swimming pool function):

Optional: segment cleaner, information terminal for the locker number display, LED light as an accessory, indicates that a locker is occupied, activation of an automatic self unlocking in mode 04 and mode 08.

"Freelocker open" = Mode 5, 6, 9 & 10: Freelocker open to Mifare Classic 1K (4 + 7 bytes) and Mifare Classic 4K (4 + 7 bytes), Mifare DesFire EV1, Mifare light, LEG IC® advant ATC2048 and ATC4096, NFC (ISO 14443a). Every compatible transponder can lock a lock without programming (the UID of the transponder is temporarily saved).

"Free choice of lockers" refers to a procedure in which the user can freely choose any unlocked locker with his transponder/card. There is no fixed assignment between lock and transponder. When the lock is locked, the transponder is temporarily saved. Thanks to the "free choice of locker", the assignment is voluntary; every user chooses the locker he or she likes.

"Freelocker with locker number" = Mode 3, 4, 7 & 8

| Principals

A lock can only be blocked with a Mifare Classic 4 byte, Mifare Classic 1K or 4K transponder (13.56 MHz 4 byte UID). The locks write the occupied status on the transponder in Sector 10 of the Mifare Classic transponder. Each user can only lock a maximum of one cabinet at a time.

• Freelocker without "writing back on the transponder"

"Freelocker 1: 1" = Mode 3, 4, 7 & 8

• Freelocker with "write back on the transponder"

26

With "Freelocker 1: 1" and "Freelocker locker number", the lock writes information on the transponder using the read / write principal. As soon as the cabinet is locked, the locking system saves the occupancy identifier on the transponder. Further lockers can no longer be locked. A maximum time can be defined for the duration of the occupancy.

A lock can only be blocked with a Mifare Classic 4 byte, Mifare Classic 1K or 4K transponder (13.56 MHz 4 byte UID). The locks write the locker number on the transponder in Sector 10 of the Mifare Classic transponder. Each user can only lock a maximum of one cabinet at a time.

The following versions of the "free choice of cabinet" are available from MifareFlex:

Optional: Segment cleaner, LED light as an accessory, shows that a cabinet is occupied, activation of an automatic self unlocking in mode 04 and mode 08.

29

If a lock is used in Freelocker Mode 3, 4, 7 or 8 the Segment Cleaner is an important accessory. The Freelocker lock programs the Mifare® Classic transponder on Sector 10 using the write / read principal. When the lock is locked, information is automatically written to the transponder. When the lock is unlocked, this information is automatically deleted from the transponder. If the transponder does not unlock the locker again, the information "Locker locked" remains on the transponder. This can happen if the transponder is misplaced or lost. The lock is unlocked with a Master card or an Emergency opening card (emergency opening). If this transponder is found later, the information "Cabinet locked" must first be deleted with the help of a Segment Cleaner.

Delete the Freelocker segment on the transponder: With the segment cleaner, the locker number and "locker locked" can be deleted from the transponder. To do this, hold the transponder 2 times to the RFID field.

Freelocker | Segment Cleaner

Segment Cleaner Function:

30 Freelocker | Info Terminal RFID field No locker number on the transponder Info terminal function: If a lock is used in Freelocker Mode 3, 4, 7 & 8 the information terminal is a smart accessory. The Freelocker lock programs the Mifare® Classic transponder on Sector 10 using the write / read principal. When the lock is locked, a locker number is automatically written to the transponder. When the lock is unlocked, this locker number is automatically deleted from the transponder. Should the user have forgotten which locker he/she had locked, the locker number can be checked using the info terminal. To do this, a Mifare Classic transponder (Mifare Classic 1K / Mifare Classic 4K) is held against the RFID field on the info terminal (see picture). The transponder is assigned the locker number 1 Locker number 1 Noidentifiednumberlocker.

For programming, only original Mifare Classic transponders work. (Mifare Classic 1K and Mifare Classic 4K)

2. Hold a Mifare Classic transponder on the smartphone's NFC reading field until "New tag found (UID)" appears on your screen. If the information "New tag found (UID)" does not appear, the transponder must be held in the NFC read field again. It is also possible that the NFC reading field only works reliably after restarting the smartphone.
