1. COMMERCIAL PROPERTY PURCHASING MANAGER

Position Overview:

Wizel Property Group is seeking a highly organised and analytical Acquisitions Manager to oversee all processes relating to the acquisition of new commercial property assets. The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for coordinating the collection, review, and analysis of relevant data on prospective properties. This role is pivotal in shaping strategic decisions by providing comprehensive reports on the physical, financial, and market characteristics of assets to our fund managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Acquistion Strategy

• Lead the end-to-end process for identifying, analysing, and acquiring new commercial properties.

• Develop and maintain acquisition pipelines, focusing on both short-term and long-term opportunities.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align property acquisition strategies with business objectives.

Information Coordination and Analysis

• Request, review, and analyse detailed property data, including physical attributes, financial performance, market trends, and overall investment potential.

• Conduct due diligence on potential properties, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical experts as required.

• Ensure that all relevant information is collated and presented in a clear, organized manner for internal review.

Reporting:

• Prepare and present detailed acquisition reports and recommendations to fund managers, highlighting key insights that inform purchasing decisions.

• Provide regular updates on acquisition progress and any identified risks or challenges.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, research, and analyses for future reference.

Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between external agents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments, ensuring the seamless flow of information throughout the acquisition process.

• Market Research & Analysis:

• Monitor commercial property market trends, including economic indicators and industry developments, to identify potential opportunities and risks.

• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to evaluate market positioning and investment potential of assets.

• Work closely with external consultants and internal teams to ensure that market intelligence is up to date.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess large volumes of information and extract actionable insights.

• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial modeling, property valuation, and investment analysis.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage stakeholders, delegate tasks, and coordinate across multiple departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial real estate acquisitions or related roles.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex acquisition processes.

• Familiarity with market research tools and property management software.

• Excellent knowledge of property law, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
