First, above all I hope this communication nds you and your families well and safe.

Our business success during these last many challenging months have been as successful as could be expected because of your strong work ethic and the ne leadership of our corporate sta and division leaders. WE are very pleased with the position you have placed our organization in during these past challenging months and I think Worldwide Equipment is in a positive place to grow all of our collective futures. Our OEMs and other partners shutting down and remaining absent also added to your many challenges and each of you are to be complimented for your strong e orts in dealing with so many partners missing in action. Our company did not have the option to shut down and I am very proud of each of you for all of your e orts to help keep us running and delivering for our country and our economy!!
My communication today however will be one of concern. As most of you know, I hold strong conservative values about our company and our country. I believe in the basic beliefs and rights granted by our United States Constitution. I believe in its founding, its founders, the reason for which it was established and, in the concept and ideals it was founded upon. Please remember that committed people built this nation and it will take committed people to keep it free!

Our forefathers came from many di erent nations with a desire to WORK HARD for a better life as many of them were not allowed a successful life in their country of birth. Many of them of all colors were brought here as slaves or indentured servants to work o debt or others as captured people to work as slaves: people of all backgrounds, and from all continents. What became the United States of America was started from a group of service providing colonies that were started here to provide wealth and returns to England and Spain — not a free democratic nation.
at democracy was earned by the shedding of blood by brave men and women who were willing to sacri ce everything for the right to be free and EARN a better life for themselves and their families. We fought wars for these rights on this soil and in many other lands to keep our freedoms and to grow that opportunity for others to also be free. However, freedom is not free- someone earned all those freedoms we now enjoy and they are earned from hard work and immense sacri ce!!
In our country, on this day we have allowed political correctness and the word “entitled” or “entitlement” to drive each of us away from our Founding Fathers’ documentation of that path for success and things that are not earned have little long-term valve and also are not appreciated by the people they are GIVEN to. ose items not earned lack the value and appreciation of something earned and things that are not earned are easily given up or given away. With no sweat equity comes no value for these things and no appreciation of the e orts and blood it took to earn them! If you allow your young or adult children to earn the funds to buy a bike or car they will gain appreciation for it and you can watch them protect and care for it. Give your child the same item, however, and most will care very little for the gi and certainly not nearly as much as they would if they had earned the item through their hard work!
My fear today is the people of our nation have had things too good for too long and are losing appreciation for our country’s founding values and the freedoms earned by our predecessors. My fear is also of the political class of elected o cials, of all parties, elected mostly for what they may give us back from OUR OWN FUNDS while they simultaneously take away our freedoms and our rights little by little. Freedom means little to our current population as long as they are given items in return that are of little real value. e younger the person the less they seemingly care about freedoms earned by others and le in their care and control. My greatest fear today is that of long-serving professional politicians, elected to serve WE THE PEOPLE, but who actually are more interested in simply being re-elected and more interested in serving their PARTY and their own self-interests rather than the people!!!
Congress should pass laws that a ect the members of Congress equally as it does the people who elected those o ce holders. For example, I refer
to the retirement and health plans of all public gures: THEY have one plan, while WE THE PEOPLE who elected them are trapped with another plan (Social Security, Medicare). In the latest bill just passed into law as a so-called “recovery from the virus”, Congress added a provision that included very small returns to you, the working people of our country but much, much more to the BROKEN de ned bene t plans of state and local o cials in order to pay unfunded retirement plans of retired public o cials. is money was paid to some states which their governors kept businesses closed and their people out of work and many think they did so mostly in the hope for political paybacks to fund reckless pension plans for state workers. e funds sent back were also not distributed evenly among states and much of the $1.9 trillion went to a lot of other pet projects which had little to do the virus but instead was also for political gain.
Sir Winston Churchill had a couple of quotes which are appropriate here: “If Capitalism is the uneven distribution of wealth, then Socialism is the equal distribution of misery” and “Socialism works until you run out of someone else’s money.” In fact, all things must be paid for by someone who earned those items to be distributed to someone who did not. Nothing of value except the air God gave us to breathe is free.
I fear the 30 trillion dollars of debt our country now owes is not sustainable. Our ability to earn the funds needed to pay this debt will be borne by our children and the children of many generations to come. Let me share some examples that are easily understood on how much a billion or trillion dollars represents. If one person were paid one dollar for every second they lived; for every minute of every hour of every day of every year, it would take 31.69 years of that person’s life to earn one billion dollars and 31,688 years to earn a trillion dollars! Yes, that is over THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND YEARS of a person’s life at a dollar a second to earn just one unit of what our country now has 30 times over in debt! Most of this debt has been placed on our balance sheet (or some would say “out of balance” sheet) by administrations of both parties over the last 20 years. is country ran pretty well for the rst 224 years. It fought wars and went through terrible economic times but it balanced its books. However, recently it has managed to spend more than it earns by 30 Trillion Dollars! Anyone can accumulate debt as long as they can borrow, but ultimately someone must pay it back and the payback comes with big interest usually paid to the big banks and the well-run foreign counties that do not allow their politicians to borrow from their children and their children’s children. If our country was a business today, the banks that loaned money to this country would be forcing bankruptcy because of the very lending laws that our elected o cials forced on us and our businesses, but which our national treasury can ignore!!
Today we have a newly elected president who has signed more Executive Orders in 75 days than any other and almost as many as all of our previously elected presidents did in their entire one or more terms. Today we have open borders again that are allowing thousands of people to ood into our country with no restraints. is country is a country of immigrants and we need them; however, we need them legally, just as our forefathers did. Do you leave your home unlocked and say come on in and take what you need? I do not think so. is country was built by immigrants however they, by and large, entered fairly and in a controlled manner. It is ne to welcome people into your home; however, you better have a plan and the funds to pay for their short-term or long -term stay!!
I am political. I am conservative and I am a giving and caring person. I believe in the founding beliefs of this country and I believe in the folks that fought and died so we can live as we do. I believe in equal rights and equal opportunities for all people. I believe we should protect our
country and make a better place for our children and our children’s children. I believe one should leave things better than we found them. I believe in giving back to our communities and I believe in supporting our police. I believe in loving and caring for all peoples (especially YOU) and in everyone’s equal rights. I believe in your right to choose; God gave you that right and I support his choice for you. I believe we should honor our elders and provide for them and for our children. I believe in defending our country and I believe in honoring our ag and the nation and freedoms it represents. I also believe we are to honor and respect the many men and women who died to keep it ying!
However, I do not believe that just because God gave a person talent to act that this makes them special! I do not believe because God and their ancestors gave someone talent and a powerful body which gave them the ability to play a sport that they need to be listened to more than any other man or woman. I do not believe in disrespecting our ag by any person or for any reason! I do not believe Americans today are doing what they should be doing to protect what God and our forefathers presented to us. I believe it’s past time WE THE PEOPLE held our political class accountable for the mess we have been put into by their poor management! I believe it’s time to start making progress in leaving our children and grandchildren a better nation; perhaps even better than the pretty damn good one the greatest generation placed in our care, custody and control. I believe we have been spoiled by 75 years of pretty good times and it is high time the adults of today started giving back a better place to their children than our country is today. No democracy has lasted over 250 years for one simple reason: elected o cials give away that which was earned by others to folks who think they are freely entitled to that stu ! en, those same people elect and, in most cases, re-elect politicians who in return give them more free stu and the cycle continues. Finally, the country runs out of the things someone else earned and that country fails, just like farms and businesses do when the next generation spends and does not make the gi s of yesterday grow! Although it’s not yet too late to save our country, I fear that it is very, very close to becoming so and I beg you to get involved to help save her!
I love each of you and want only good things for you and your families and I believe God will only allow you to keep control of what you are capable of caring for and managing well so WE must care for our country and for our company. WE are doing a pretty good job on the company front through all of these challenges thanks to you and your e orts, however I would like to give you a small piece of advice on whom you should consider voting for in future upcoming elections. Since I believe you love your children and your grandchildren, my advice would be to vote for the person you would allow your children to be cared for and raised by if you were to die. at person might not be the sweetest or the smartest but he or she would be the person who would get the job done; someone who would make the hard decisions, provide tough love when needed and who would teach them to do the right thing. If we would all do this, I believe we would begin to see positive change.

As I have already said a couple of times, I think you all are taking pretty good care of our company and THE WE PEOPLE. Now, let’s all see what we can do to help care more for our country! God bless.

“I believe in the founding beliefs of this country and I believe in the folks that fought and died so we can live as we do. ”
A couple of years ago I sent a book to all of the store managers to read. e title was “The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results” by Gary W. Keller and Jay Papasan.
Our folks enjoyed the read, I am sure you would too. e subject of the book centered around a question that made the reader think.
What is the one thing that you could today, such as by doing it, would make everything else easier or unnecessary?
You may have watched the business idea-pitched television show Shark Tank. Perhaps you saw the episode where one of the investors told the hopeful entrepreneur standing before the panel, “All it takes is one. All you need to succeed in business is that one great idea that HITS.” Moments later this sentiment was echoed by another of the panelists, as they’d all lived that same phenomenon.
e one idea that hits is obviously the key, as the market then proves its worth. e reality is, however, that people that are persistent enough to nd that idea are the ones that win.
is idea of “all it takes is one” goes well beyond the business world. Sometimes, all that needs to happen to change a game is one play, one shot, one moment that turns the momentum entirely.
So spend a moment or two thinking about all the di erent possibilities of what that one thing is that you are willing to ght for – and ght through all of the failure and challenge that comes along that journey – and see it through to realization. What is that one thing that burns inside you?
Where is that one thing you need, to crack in the door of opportunity, that you know if you can just get that one chance, you’ll nd your breakthrough? For a struggling author, maybe it’s that one publisher looking for a great unknown writer seeing an opportunity. Same thing in Hollywood, nding that one person that believes in Sylvester Stallone’s ability to both write and ultimately play Rocky or the director that nally gave a struggling unknown like Jack Nicholson his shot.
Are you willing to ght for your “one”, until you get that moment that will change your life? Maybe you already found it, and are reading this while living your dream, right here and now. Maybe one of your prospects you have right now is going to become the customer you need, the missing puzzle piece, to help you further believe in your system, and your approach to your business is the ultimate pathway to your success.
Find what’s unique to you. Find that ame burning inside you… perhaps it’s not even lit yet! Find that one ultimate thing that’s worth giving all your available energies for, and gure out how to bring it to the surface of the waters you’re treading in. Add in a way to bring that to the market and see what happens for yourself. Because, in the end, all it takes is one!
I want to share a story of Bill, perhaps Bill was lucky, or maybe Bill found that one thing that truly made him successful.
Greatness is a strange and wonderful thing. Too o en it is attributed to “luck,” being in the right place at the right time, but this is seldom the case. One de nition for “luck” is: when hard work and sacri ce meet the opportunity, that is created by that same hard work.
Bill was born in Portland, Oregon in 1911, the son of the former governor of Oregon. He was a gi ed athlete in both football and track at Medford High School in Medford, Oregon. Tragedy struck early in Bill’s life when his two-year-old brother died in an elevator accident. Bill never forgot.
Bill was a star in both football and track as a student/athlete at the University of Oregon. e Ducks. A er graduation, he became a coach and teacher at Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon. In 1935, Bill moved back to his hometown and coached and taught at Medford High School, where he had graduated high school. In 1949 he helped coach the Medford football team to a state championship.
He had been in the ROTC in college and continued in the Army Reserve. A er the attack on Pearl Harbor, he le teaching and coaching to join the United States Army as a
2nd lieutenant. In December of 1944, his battalion was sent to Italy and into battle. rough his bravery and leadership, he was appointed the commander of the 86th Regiment’s “First Battalion” with the rank of major. He immediately stood out when he was able to order a stand-down of the enemy forces.
His valor in battle earned him the “Silver Star” and four “Bronze Stars.” He was honorably discharged.
e college star and World War II hero was Bill Bowerman, who became the Head Track Coach at the University of Oregon. His teams won four NCAA Team Championships, twenty-four NCAA individual titles, and he was credited with adopting a high-altitude training program for American runners prior to the Mexico City Olympic Games in 1968. His success lead to his appointment as the Head Olympic Track and Field Coach at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
Perhaps the one thing Bowerman is most noted for is the use of a wa e iron to create a new running shoe sole. is led to the formation of a new company, “Nike,” and the rest is history. Today, Nike is the largest manufacturer in the world of not only running shoes but athletic apparel.
Later in life, Bill Bowerman was hampered by nerve damage, unfortunately from inhaling the glue to manufacture his shoes in his original small and unventilated o ce. As Nike grew, Bowerman reduced his time with the company, eventually selling his shares. Bowerman passed away in his Oregon home at the age of 88 in 1999.
ere is always a path to greatness. at path is lled with detours, potholes, and roadblocks. From high school athlete to collegiate star; from teacher to war hero; from high school coach to the University of Oregon head coach; from Oregon to the Olympic Head Coach; and nally, creating the most well known athletic shoe and apparel company in the world. Bill Bowerman’s legacy will stand forever because he had a passion for running. Every person has “the one thing” in his or her life that pairs with the tiny seed called a dream, but when followed with hard work, determination, and a “never give up attitude”, that leads to victory. Find yours, and never give up!
Find what’s unique to you. Find that ame that burns inside you… perhaps it’s not even lit yet! Find that one thing that’s worth giving all your available energies for, and gure out how to bring it to the surface of the waters you’re treading in. Add in a way to bring that to the market and see what happens for yourself. Because, in the end, all it takes is one!
Now, go nd it!
A Letter From The CFO

Happy New Year!
With our scal reporting year beginning April 1, this marks the beginning of a new year for all of us at Worldwide. I wanted to share some thoughts with you and give you some ideas of what to expect from this column which will regularly appear from now on.
First, I want to let you know how much I love being here at Worldwide with all of you and how excited I am for the company going forward. ere are a lot of people in a lot of new roles this year, including Scott in a well-deserved promotion as President and me moving into my new role. All of this sets this year up to be an exciting one on its own, however adding in the recovery from the Pandemic, the move to Knoxville from Prestonsburg, as well as the changes in government and all of the federal spending that is happening means we all need to be strapped in and ready for potential growth as well as potential challenges. One thing is certain, the way that you all responded last year makes us all very con dent that WE will come out better and stronger.
So, back to nance: We are ending up with a decent year and thanks to all of you, WE will make a pro t despite the uncertainty that was hanging over the economies of the entire world a few short months ago. Even during this time, WE continued to grow and, as you already know, opened a new store in Spartanburg, South Carolina as well as purchased the assets of an additional three stores in Georgia. Because of the eciency with which our company is run, WE were able to do this without any additional debt to Worldwidewhich is a feat in and of itself. Additionally, WE were able by the end of the year to restore all bene ts back to their pre-pandemic levels, with no level of price increases to associates, and to spend an additional $1 Million dollars in rewards in the form of employee bonuses.
All this taken together should give you a great condence in the nancial stability of the company you work for and its ownership and management. In fact, what I hope to share with you in these letters in the future is information that will let you know the general nancial outlook for the company now and in the future as well as things that may a ect your personal nances.
Until next time, Steve
By the People, For the People

WE asked you to submit to us your success stories, events, and family updates, and your response was astounding! See what the rest of your WE family has been up to.

Miley Blake is back in WE the People this issue, but not for winning gold and silver medals in every sport she lays her hands on. No, no, no. If you think her talent stops there, you’ve severely underestimated Miley’s power.
No, this 11-year-old got accepted into college. That’s right, Betty Blake is proud to announce Miley’s acceptance into Southern State Community College, where she will be taking classes in the 2021-2022 school year. How about you save some talent for the rest of us?

2. Do 10 toe touches in the morning and 10 more in the evening.
6. Attitude
7. Passion
8. Being coachable
9. Doing extra 10. Being prepared
3. Do 10 knee bends (squats) before you leave for work each day.
4. Pick three arm stretches, do 10 of each, every day.
5. Commit to drinking at least 64oz of water each day or four 16.9 oz bottles.

7. Use your break time to stretch, head, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, torso, switch it up but commit to it each day.
4. Get the whole family involved! Take the kids for a bike ride. Take them to the park. Meet your spouse or significant other at the local walking track during lunch or after work.
5. Make a plan! Break down your goals into small, manageable goals that are easier to track and conquer. This will help you from feeling overwhelmed.
Now that spring is here, we are all going to want to get out and enjoy the pleasant weather. We have all been couped up for a while now and perhaps have gotten a bit sedentary in our ways. Time to put a little spring back in your step. Whether it’s planting a garden, going for a walk or bike ride with your family, or playing catch with your dog, all these things put your body in a motion it just might not be used to. We would like to challenge you all to start one new healthy behavior that can become a new health habit.

Did you know it can take anywhere from 18 to 254 days for a person to form a new habit and an average of 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic? There’s no one-size-fits-all figure, which is why this time frame is so broad; some habits are easier to form than others, and some people may find it easier to develop new behaviors. There is no right or wrong timeline. The only timeline that matters is the one that is consistent and works best for you. Be sure to choose a behavior that you feel you can stick with, the goal is not for you to get frustrated and stop, the goal is to make this a health habit that you can feel good about and motivates you to build on the behavior and increase the number of healthy choices you make in your life.
These are just a few simple starting points, for some these will be a challenge, others may need more. Whatever you choose we would love to hear how you successfully started a forever healthy life habit. Email Carla and she’ll be sure to brag about you in our WE The People Summer issue.

QUESTIONS for the BOSS
Why should I enroll in the 401(k) plan?

1. Enrolling is the 401(k) plan is a great way to plan for your future retirement! Social security alone won’t be enough. You will need 70-80% of your pre-retirement income (generally) to live comfortably in retirement.
2. Tax Break! The money you contribute pre-tax doesn’t count towards your gross income for the year—which lowers your taxable income.
i. Note: the plan also permits Roth deferrals where contributions are made on an after-tax basis and any earnings will be distributed tax-fee if withdrawn after age 59 ½

3. Lastly…it’s FREE MONEY! Currently, WE will match 100% of your contributions up to $1,000.00!

How do I get another insurance card?

There are a few di erent options for you to request a duplicate.
1. You can call True Advocate Team at 888-655-9980 and request a new ID card to be mailed to your house.
2. Locate the inside cover of your 2021 Bene t Guide. There you will nd a listing of phone numbers for Anthem, Delta Dental and our other providers. Simply located the number and call them up. Ask for a card to be mailed.

3. If you have registered an account online with either Delta Dental or Anthem, you can log on to your account and request a card be sent from their online portal. You must already have registered your account for each before you will be able to access.
Our trucks are rolling billboards for the company most of the WE trucks are clean and well-advertised but there are some salesman trucks that are less appealing with worn out stickers and lack of appeal going down the road or to the customers I was just wondering about what protocol the management can take to make them shine once again.
A couple of years ago WE transitioned away from the full wrap of the vehicles. This situation contributed to one of the reasons WE made the change. WE now o er replacement decals from our marketing team. Accidents, fading, decals peeling, as well as other issues can be corrected with updated decals. These can be requested through the marketing portal, printed, and sent to the dealerships for local installation.
Our equipment re ects our image and how WE want to be seen in and around our dealerships and marketing area. WE want to always maintain a safe and professional appearance.
“Arrived as a non appointment, didn’t matter these people are professional to the core. They have very good driver accommodations and within 10 min was working on my 2016 Volvo. I would highly recommend them even to my own family.”

“I recently broke down, and had to be towed to Worldwide Equipment in Douglas, GA.. Due to a computer diagnostics software issue with Paccar, they couldn’t do the warranty work on my truck. I had to be towed to another Kenworth shop. Worldwide bent over backwards to fix the issue, but couldn’t. Along with many apologies, and an extremely friendly staff, they also picked up my hotel bill and my towing bill. They had also done hours of work on my truck preparing for repairs at no charge. I have never been treated better, or more professionally. I would highly recommend, Worldwide Equipment. They were above and beyond any shop I’ve ever been to!!!! ”
Douglas, GA
“Great experience here! We had a Kenworth T-260 with with issues on Christmas Eve. I had called around to several shops along the drivers route because of the holiday no one would assist him.
I spoke to the service department prior to the drivers arrival. The service department took time to listen to me and we’re ready for the driver when he arrived they got him back on the road within hours. All around good people and a good company to do business with!.”
