The Sacred Monument of the Founding Master Sotaesan 소태산 대종사 성비
This stone monument was erected to commemorate the Founding Master's achievements. The epitaph was composed by Venerable Chŏngsan, and written on the monument by the calligrapher, Gangam Seong‐Yong Song.
소태산 대종사의 공덕을 기리기 위해 세운 것으로, 비명(碑銘)은 정산종사께서, 글씨는 강암 송성용 서예가가 썼다.

Gonghoedang served initially as both a public hall and a silkworm nursery. Before the Great Enlightenment Hall (Daegakjeon) was built, a variety of ceremonies and retreats were held at Gonghoedang. The building became home to 'Yuil‐Haklim', which is now Wonkwang University.
이 건물은 공회당 겸 양잠실을 목적으로 건립하였으며, 대각전이 건립되기 전까지 각종 의식과 훈련을 진행하던 곳이다. 원광대학교의 전신인 유일학림에서 교육공간으로 사용되었다.
