HCA PALMS WEST HOSPITAL NEW PATIENT TOWER
William R. Nash, LLC. has secured another landmark project. We’ve been awarded the complete mechanical and plumbing scope for the patient tower expansion at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital—a testament to our decades of experience handling complex healthcare projects.
This state-of-the-art facility will feature specialized surgical suites dedicated to post-surgical care for robotic surgery patients. The expansion includes a specialized 36-bed unit dedicated to the hospital’s Robotic Surgery Center of Excellence, alongside a modern grand entrance, revamped registration and admitting areas, community education space, and expanded parking facilities. The tower project is estimated to be compete in 2027.

JUPITER MEDICAL CENTER NEW PATIENT TOWER

Exciting progress at the Jupiter Medical Center Patient Tower Expansion Project. We are tying in our prefabricated headwalls with oxygen and medical gas piping. Our overhead cast iron pipework for patient rooms is well underway, and the new penthouse on the 6th level is taking shape! We’d like to spotlight Wilbert Douglas, a WRN certified med gas installer. His creativity in coordinating and brazing intricate pipework is second to none! We appreciate his relentless attention to detail and quality. His work speaks for itself!

UHEALTH SOLÉ MIA MEDICAL CENTER
Miami, Florida
Our team is in the final stages of providing complete plumbing and medical gas systems for this impressive 370,000-square-foot healthcare facility.
The UHealth SoLé Mia Medical Center embodies an extraordinary transformation, re-purposing a former municipal landfill into a cutting-edge academic medical facility. This 170-acre former landfill in North Miami is being revitalized as part of a pivotal environmental rehabilitation initiative.
Spanning over nearly 10 acres, this seven-story structure integrates healing green spaces and panoramic ocean views. The facility aspires to LEED Platinum certification, incorporating advanced green infrastructure and energyefficient technologies.
Scheduled to open Fall 2025, the center will house 120 examination rooms, 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms, and specialized suites for the nationally recognized Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Highlights include, exterior aerials, med gas valve installations, corridor infrastructure, and advanced plumbing systems. We’re proud to contribute to healthcare environments that will serve our community for years to come.
GOLD COIN INITIATIVE
William R. Nash introduced a “Gold Coin” initiative recognizing team members that are going above and beyond for the organization. Each recipient is nominated by their supervisor and this nomination is brought to the leadership team for review. It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Russell Nash, our esteemed Division President, effective June 30, 2025. Russell’s departure marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in our company’s history, one defined by visionary leadership, dedication, and remarkable growth.
All In The Family
The story of William R. Nash, LLC. begins as a true family enterprise. Founded by William R. Nash, Russell’s father, the company was initially guided by the founder and his brothers—the first generation that established our reputation for excellence and integrity within the industry. This foundation would prove essential as the second generation, including Russell and his brothers Bill and Michael Nash, took up the mantle to honor their father’s legacy and propel the business to new heights. Together, this second generation worked tirelessly to preserve the core values instilled by their father while adapting to an ever-changing industry landscape. Their combined efforts ensured not only the survival but the continued success of the family business through decades of economic fluctuations and market evolution.
From Material Expediter to Division President
Russell’s journey with the company began in 1975 when he joined as a Material Expediter. Through determination and commitment to the organization, Russell steadily advanced through the ranks, culminating in his appointment as President/CEO in 2009.
In 2020, Russell became the Division President at William R. Nash, LLC. Following the acquisition by HB Mechanical Group, a significant transition occurred as Russell’s brothers moved into retirement. Russell stepped into the position to facilitate carrying the company forward. Since taking the helm during this transition, William R. Nash, LLC. has realized impressive growth while continuing to honor the foundational values that have always been the company’s north star. His leadership continues to build upon the family’s remarkable legacy while propelling the future path for the business.
