OLYMPIC DAY

Overview

Olympic Day, created in 1948, celebrates healthy living, well-being, sports and their cultural impact, and inspires kids to dream big and be the next Olympian.

- June 21, 2024

- 100 kids from their summer day camp participated

- Olympians Nick Baumgartner (2022 gold medalist in snowboardcross) and Gary Morgan (1988 20km walk) attended

- Three MSGOM interns facilitated, including two collegiate athletes in softball and track & field

- Activities included pole vaulting, race walking, and large ball soccer
