Haymes continues Jericho commitment

HAYMES Paint has this week announced a further three year commitment as the naming rights sponsor of the Jericho Cup.

The Warrnambool Racing Club (WRC) and Haymes Paint announced a significant renewal of their long-standing Jericho partnership on Monday morning.

The sponsorship fortifies the Jericho Cup as a mainstay on the racing calendar, with the new agreement providing both businesses runway to continue to innovate around such a unique race day.

Warrnambool Racing Club’s manager (Operations and Marketing) Luke Aggett said it was “truly exciting” to have Haymes Paint renew its commitment for a further three years.

“Their commitment to the Jericho Cup since its inception in 2018 symbolises the significance of the race day, and we’re rapt to see that they have enjoyed the growth of the event by staying so committed,” Mr Aggett said.

WRC committee chair Mark McNamara also expressed his gratitude.

“The Warrnambool Racing Club is delighted that Haymes Paint has agreed to extend its sponsorship of the Jericho Cup for a further three years,” he said.

“We value our relationship with this important family-owned business based in Ballarat.

“The extension is particularly pleasing given that Haymes Paint has sponsored the Jericho Cup since its first running at Warrnambool in 2018.”

Matthew Haymes, Haymes Paint strategy and sales director, said the company was incredibly proud to continue its partnership with the Warrnambool Racing Club and the Jericho Cup.

“This event holds significant importance for Haymes Paint as it celebrates the spirit of

excellence and tradition,” he said.

“As a proudly Australian, family-owned business, we feel a deep connection.

“We have long had a connection to the Warrnambool community through our partnership with Hammonds Paint and are thrilled, as the naming rights sponsor of the

Haymes Paint Jericho Cup, to continue to deepen this connection.

“It is through support from locals in the region, both retail and trade consumers, purchasing Haymes Paint at Hammonds Paints stores that enable us to continue to support community events like the wonderful

Jericho Cup.”

The 2025 Haymes Paint Jericho Cup Day will be held on Sunday, 30 November.

Tickets and packages are still available by visiting the Warrnambool Racing Club website or phoning the office.

David McCormack (general manager retail and channel, Haymes Paint), director of Haymes Paint Matt Haymes and Warrnambool Racing Club manager Luke Aggett are looking forward to the running of the 2025 Haymes Jericho Cup later this month.

A day of reflection and remembrance

THE wind howled but the sun shone bright on the large crowd that gathered at the Warrnambool RSL on Tuesday to pay their respects as part of Remembrance Day services across the district.

Despite heavy rain and hailstones earlier in the day, the weather broke just in time for generations to stop, remember and reflect.

While Remembrance Day in Warrnambool doesn’t quite attract the large crowd of Anzac Day, it remains an important one for many.

“We certainly don’t get the numbers here that we do on Anzac Day but we still always have quite a few hundred gather to pay their respects,” Warrnambool RSL president Richard Ridgwell said.

“It’s always lovely to see so many schools involved with days like today because that’s the future of these services.

“We thank the schools and students for taking part; it’s nice to see it is still encouraged and that stories and history continues to be told in our schools.

“Warrnambool RSL has about 300 service

members and a further 3,000 or so social members so we’re really going quite strong.

This (Remembrance Day) is another good day and we’re always happy to welcome guests.”

RSL member Colin Davies addressed the crowd, giving an enlightening talk on Australia’s involvement in many battles throughout the world wars, also highlighting the impact of the Kokoda campaign, Korea, Vietnam, and in more recent time conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq and East Timor.

“Along with so many other peace keeping actions, your service will not be forgotten,” he said.

“While this (today’s speech) was never intended to be a military history lesson, it is a snapshot of Australians at war.

“This identifies the character of the Australians who served. The indomitable belief in the spirit of mateship, courage, self-reliance and the unbreakable bond between those who served.”

He reminded all at the service that “the seed of the Australian spirit was born through adversity.”

Join the cycle ...... and recycle

HAVE you ever wondered what happens to your drink cans, bottles and cartons after you return them for a 10-cent refund through Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic)?

With National Recycling Week (November 10-16) now underway, CDS Vic is keen to share what happens next, and how every returned container helps power Victoria’s circular economy.

This year’s theme, ‘Join the Cycle,’ perfectly aligns with the mission of CDS Vic of keeping eligible drink containers in the recycling loop so they can be remade into new products again and again.

“National Recycling Week is a timely reminder of our shared commitment to a more sustainable Victoria,” Marianne Doyle, interim chief executive of scheme coordinator VicReturn said.

“Recycling eligible drink containers means fewer virgin materials are needed to make new bottles and cans, reducing our impact on the environment.”

The recycling process begins when Victorians return their drink containers at one of the hundreds of refund points across the state.

From there, they’re sorted by material type and sent to recycling facilities to be processed back into new products.

Here’s where your containers go next:

Plastic bottles

These bottles are sorted by material type (PET, HDPE and others) and recycled at facilities in Victoria.

They’re cleaned, shredded into flakes, melted down, extruded and turned into pellets, then used to make new products.

Glass bottles

These bottles are cleaned and sorted by colour into glass cullet at facilities in Victoria and South Australia.

The cullet is then sent to glass

manufacturing plants in Victoria and South Australia that use it in the production of new glass bottles and jars.

“Glass can be infinitely recycled, so returning your glass bottles through CDS Vic helps conserve our natural resources,” Mrs Doyle said.

Aluminium cans

These cans are bailed before being shipped overseas to be reprocessed into aluminium

This week is National Recycling Week and everyone is encouraged to return suitable cans, bottles and cartons for a 10-cent refund.

coils.

These are returned to Australia where they are used to make new drink cans.

Since launching in November 2023, CDS Vic has helped Victorians recycle more, reduce litter and keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Victorians have returned 2.3 billion drink containers, earning $230 million in refunds.

Return your empties this National Recycling Week and help the planet and your pocket.

CDS Vic proudly supports Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week, which has encouraged Australians since 1996 to reduce, reuse and repurpose their waste. Join the cycle this National Recycling Week by collecting and returning eligible drink containers for a 10-cent refund at your nearest refund point.

Resealing partnership delivers big savings

WARRNAMBOOL

City and Corangamite

Shire councils are marking 10 years of collaboration on joint road resealing contracts.

This partnership is estimated to have saved Warrnambool ratepayers about $900,000, while also providing significant savings in Corangamite.

The initiative sees both councils include their annual road resealing programs under a single contract.

The partnership was an initiative of Corangamite Shire Council which leads the procurement.

This attracts more competitive tenders and leads to economies of scale, ultimately delivering better value.

Warrnambool mayor Cr Ben Blain said it was a great example of regional collaboration.

“We’re proud to see this partnership deliver such positive results for residents over the past decade,” he said.

“This arrangement is estimated to save us about 12 per cent each year when compared to tendering individually, and over the course of a decade, this adds up to a very significant saving.

“It’s a great example of two councils working together for a mutually beneficial result.

“Having strong working relationships with neighbouring councils is valuable in so many different areas be it advocacy, infrastructure, technology or other programs and services.

“With money extremely tight at the various levels of government, as well as in the community, innovative programs like this are just so important, and this has been a real success story.”

Road resealing involves a layer of bitumen being sprayed onto the road surface before a layer of crushed rock is rolled on top.

This work seals small cracks in the road and helps to prevent water seeping into the underlying pavement which helps to extend the life of the road.

Cr Blain said that it was cheaper in the long run to maintain roads by resealing them where appropriate, before they deteriorate and need more costly repairs.

“This is a vital maintenance program. As can be seen on large sections of Victorian Government managed roads in our region, a lack of appropriate and timely maintenance can have significant consequences.”

Corangamite mayor Cr Kate Makin said the partnership started with a discussion from the then-directors.

“It has enabled us to not double-up with contract administration, document preparation and the tender process,” she said.

“Both parties are involved in the tender evaluation process but Warrnambool agreed to us awarding the contract on their behalf.

“Warrnambool’s road resealing program begins on November 17 and will take about two weeks to complete and Corangamite’s will start in the new year.”

Cr Makin said there was flexibility in those arrangements if a Warrnambool job was delayed and a Corangamite site was ready - particularly in the north where the weather is warmer earlier.

“Because Corangamite has a much larger road network our teams do patching before resurfacing.

“The last thing we want to do is seal over a failure which will blow out later.”

To view a list of roads to be resealed, head to each council’s website prior to the beginning of each program.

Contractors will also contact residents directly with more information, including a scheduled date for their street.

Warrnambool City Council last week released a list of roads that will be resealed in Warrnambool from next Monday, November 17.

They include the following: Lindsay Street: Baynes Street – Princes Highway.

Ragland Parade service road: north side of Raglan Pde (between Rooneys Rd and Caramut Rd) and Rooneys Rd-Caramut Rd. Fotheringham Street: Caramut Rd-Vickers Dr. Hopetoun Rd: Caramut Rd-Vickers Dr. Parker Street: Fairfax Ave-Hoddle St. Watson Street: Dickson St-Granter St. Wellington Street: Merrivale Dr-McGennan St. Essington Court: Alexandra Cres-Halladale Pl.

Merri Street: Kelt St-Foster St.

Barkly Street: Nicholson St-Foster St.

Ormsby Court: Minerva Dr-end.

Warrnambool City Council is celebrating its 10-year partnership with Corangamite Shire which involved combining their road resealing programs into a single tender.

MOYNE Shire Council has awarded $24,000 in funding to six local creative projects through the inaugural round of its Creative Change Grants Program.

The new initiative aims to strengthen the shire’s creative ecology by supporting artists, collectives and local organisations to deliver projects that foster innovation, collaboration and community connection.

Council allocated $15,000 to launch the program in 2025/26 and successfully leveraged an additional $9,000 cocontribution from the Fletcher Jones Family Foundation (FJFF), allowing more projects to be supported.

Mayor Cr Karen Foster said the response to the first round showed the depth of talent and ambition within Moyne’s creative community.

“We were thrilled to see such strong interest in this inaugural round - it’s clear that creativity is thriving right across Moyne,” Cr Foster said.

“Through this partnership with the FJFF, council has been able to double the number of projects funded under the program.

“These initiatives will activate spaces, tell local stories, and provide valuable professional development opportunities for local artists.”

Cr Foster believes the partnership highlighted the power of collaboration in boosting local projects and celebrating creativity across the shire.

The program received 13 eligible

applications, seeking more than $55,000 in total funding; almost four times the council’s available budget for 2025/2026.

Projects ranged from visual arts and storytelling to writing mentorships and a creative collective.

The six successful applications reflect the diversity of creative practice across the shire and the strong demand for opportunities to experiment, collaborate and grow.

“Investing in creativity isn’t just about art, it’s about connection, identity and economic opportunity,” Cr Foster said.

“The Creative Change Grants will help spark new ideas, build capacity and showcase the incredible talent we have here in Moyne.”

Lisa McLeod, executive officer at the Fletcher Jones Family Foundation, said these grants would help local people turn creative ideas into community change.

“Our foundation and council both back projects that celebrate local stories, build skills, and strengthen connections,” Ms McLeod said.

“Moyne supports creative projects that bring life to public spaces, while Fletcher Jones funding helps those ideas grow and create lasting social impact across the region.

“By co-funding projects, the partnership leverages available resources and maximises outcomes through collaboration and shared value.”

Council will continue to monitor outcomes from this first round to inform future program delivery and funding levels, ensuring ongoing

support for the shire’s growing creative sector.

The six successful projects in this latest round of funding were:

Shelley Knoll Miller (graphic recording)$4,000.

Funding boost for creative projects

Koroit Theatre, Volcanic Visual Arts Exhibition (applicant Edwina Palmer) –$2,500.

Mortlake Creative Collective Pilot - $5,000.

Koroit-Tower Hill Stories from a Volcano and the Belfast Coast (applicant Mike Raetz, auspiced by Port Fairy Tourist Association) – $5,000. Port Fairy Literary Weekend (new mentorship initiative) - $4,500. Village Life (applicant Greg Pritchard)$3,000.

Crowds brave the elements to enjoy festival

WARRNAMBOOL’S Civic Green was alive with bright colours, culture and a sense of community last Saturday.

The Warrnambool Multicultural Festival again attracted thousands of visitors who took advantage of the opportunity to experience the tastes, music and performances from a range of cultures through live performances, food stalls and workshops.

The festival, organised by the Warrnambool Multicultural Association, began with an Aboriginal Welcome to Country and featured performers, stallholders, workshop hosts, food vendors, volunteers and service providers representing more than 40 cultures.

Co-founder and president of the Warrnambool Multicultural Association, Daisy Ye, said the day was a resounding success despite it being the coldest and windiest festival since first held in 2022.

“Many people told us the festival had a fantastic atmosphere despite the weather, and that really speaks to the strength and spirit of our community,” Ms Ye said.

“Attendees described the day as simply fabulous; a community vibe you can’t find anywhere else in the region.

“Seeing everyone rugged up and battling the rain was a testament to how amazing the event was.”

Great food and cold weather meant stalls and food vans were popular, with most vendors selling out before 2pm.

Spotlight on Port Fairy

Edwards to return for 2026 marathon

WINNER of the previous two Port Fairy marathons, Reece Edwards, will return to defend his title in 2026.

The annual Port Fairy Marathon and Community Running Festival once again looks set to draw big crowds to the seaside town, with Sunday, February 22 set as the date for next year’s event.

The running festival is an ecofriendly, all abilities, destination running events that not includes a marathon, but also a half marathon, 10 kilometre, five kilometre and 1.5 kilometre events.

The multi-lap marathon is officially AIMs (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) certified so entrants can now participate in Port Fairy to qualify for all of the world’s iconic marathons.

The course incorporates the town’s historic streets, rugged coastline, beautiful wharf and the pristine river frontage that Port Fairy is famous for.

The marathon committee comprises a group of volunteers from the Port Fairy Consolidated School Parents and Friends

group and is auspiced by the Port Fairy Tourism Incorporation.

While the event is primarily designed to promote health and wellbeing, it has become the major fundraiser for the Port Fairy Consolidated School and also provides support to many community groups in town.

With everything from the marathon through to a 1.5 kilometre event, the day caters for runners (and walkers) of all ages and abilities.

The live site will be at the iconic Railway Place in Port Fairy, with registrations taken both online and up to one hour before each event on the day (note: entry fees on race day are increased and names won’t be able to be included on race bib).

Both the marathon and half marathon will start at 7am.

The 10km race will begin at 10am, followed by the five kilometre at 11am and the 1.5 kilometre at 11.45am.

All events start on Gipps Street and the finish line is on Bank Street.

Competitors in last year’s event make their way around the course.

INSET: Winner of the Port Fairy Marathon for the past two years, Reece Edwards, is set to return for the event in 2026.

Another successful Dennington Day Out

WITH everything from a virtual reality game through to pony rides, pop-up shops and a silent disco, this year’s Dennington Day Out was again another huge success.

Despite the cool weather and threatening clouds overhead, an estimated 3,000-4,000 visitors flocked to St John’s Primary School in Dennington to enjoy what was a great family day out.

The mini-entrepreneurs and pop-up shops were kept busy throughout the day, while the food trucks, barbecue and coffee van kept hunger at bay.

Children of all ages were kept well entertained by the Cha Cha, swing ride, SES display and giant inflatable slides while many also enjoyed the chance to spend time in the animal nursery.

Among the free activities on the day were cupcake decorating, a silent disco, Bunnings pot-a-plant, Are-Able games and fun with giant bubbles.

With another successful event now over, the organising committee is already back in full swing planning for 2026.

Members of both the Dennington football and cricket clubs worked together on the barbecue to make sure hungry visitors were kept well fed.
Warrnambool’s Addison McKay-White (2) kept a close eye on the target while helping Warrnambool Fire Brigade volunteer Aaron Hume with the hose.
Two year-old Cooper Serra from Warrnambool had fun playing with all the equipment at the SES stand.

Eight year-old Mason Curtis enjoys the chair ride.
Ellidy Burchell of Illowa had fun spending time in the animal nursery.
Three year-old Matilda Nelson of Koroit had loads of fun playing with the giant bubbles.
Live music entertained the crowds throughout the day.

High tea helps bridge generation gap

GENERATIONS united in conversation, games, food and plenty of laughter at St Patrick’s Port Fairy last week.

Wednesday afternoon’s high tea saw students in years four and six join with their invited guests from the nearby Moyneyana House (residential aged care facility) for a memorable afternoon.

“This event was inspired by our student leaders’ goal to build stronger connections with our community and create something special that brings generations together,” teacher Benson Steere said.

“The idea for this high tea actually began back in term two when our student leaders took a leadership road trip to Ballarat.

“They came back inspired and last week’s high tea was the result of their ideas, teamwork and hard work from every year six student.”

When planning began, the leaders knew they didn’t want to do it alone and invited the entire year six class to join them.

“It became a whole-class community project and they teamed up with our amazing Hands on Learning students (in both year six and year four) who helped prepare all the food – from sausage rolls and arancini to mini quiches and lemon slice,” Mr Steer said.

“We used to run a similar rogram here at St Patrick’s called Bringing the Gap which was based around connecting the two generations to start conversations around what life was like, and what it is like now.

“We see great value in this and look forward to continuing the partnership going forward.”

Jackie enjoyed her special afternoon tea with year six students, Ollie, Ethan and Gabe.
Freddie and Will with special visitor, Carol.
Edmund and Hilda enjoyed the high tea.
Hamish spent some special time chatting with Margaret.
Kitty was happy to chat with special guest, Jenny.
Tara and Moyneyana resident, Margaret.
Year six students Evie L, Evie O, Sophie and Leah with Moyneyana resident, Lorraine.
Year four students Basil, Violet, Sadie and Gus were keen to take the sausage rolls to their guests.
Year four students Hudson, Miranda and Marley are ready to serve the sandwiches.

Light lambs 12 to16 kg sold from $131 to $210/head while lambs weighing 18 to 22 kg made $210 to $276/head.

Lambs in the 22 to 26 kg range sold from $256 to $320/head. Hoggets reached up to $250/head.

It was a good-quality yarding of trade sheep with a mix of crossbred and Merino types mainly heavy and medium weights along with a few more lighter sheep.

The market was dearer for medium and light sheep $10 to $15 while heavy sheep were softer by $10 to $20/head. Mutton averaged between 680 and 800c/ kg cwt.

Heavy crossbred ewes sold to $246 and Merino ewes with skin sold to $244 and Merino wethers to $228/head.

Terminal rams reached $106/head. Market Reporter: Chris Agnew, MLA

Tournament experience for footballers

MORE than 250 players from Football South West and the Limestone Coast competed in a tournament in Hamilton last weekend.

Saturday’s tournament saw teams from across various age groups, ranging from under 10s through to senior men and women, compete in 11 matches throughout the day.

While Limestone Coast was successful across 10 of the 11 matches, the majority of the defeats were close contests.

The under 14 boys were defeated 1-0 while the under 13 boys finally succumbed in a penalty shootout.

The under 12 development team was defeated 3-5, under 12s lost 3-1 and the under 15s went down 2-0.

Limestone Coast also dominated the under 16 boys and girls teams, however south west’s Zander Mibus still made it onto the scoreboard for Football Southwest with a powerful strike that resulted in an own goal.

The girls’ under 13 match showed huge promise for future years, with Football Southwest’s newly-formed team (in just its sixth ever match) facing the recently crowned South Australian State Champion LCFA side.

Despite being defeated 5-2, Football Southwest scored two goals.

Players of the match for Football Southwest across the tournament were:

Under 10 Hudson Malady, under 12 development Archie Coxon, under 12 Steph Van Den Heuvel, under 13 Aidan Guerrero, under 13 girls Mackenzie Rocka, under 14 Isaac Green, under 15 Tanaka Paradza, under 16 girls Zahra Francis and under 16/17 Austin Hlatini.

The senior teams, formed only a few weeks prior to the tournament, performed strongly despite Limestone Coast being the favourites to win.

The women’s team, coached by Simon Perrin of Port Fairy, was level at two goals each with only several minutes left, and both

teams were making preparations to play extra time, when LCFA found a way through and scored from wide.

The game finished with a 4-2 scoreline, with the two deciding goals scored in the final three minutes.

The senior men’s team, coached by Elijah Macchia (Warrnambool Rangers) performed strongly, and the scores were level 1-1 at the break.

CFA found a way through shortly after the second half commenced, holding the lead for the remainder of the match.

In Football Southwest’s standalone victory for the day, the under 10s performed strongly against a highly physical LCFA, winning 3-2 with stellar goals to Dustin Irons, Harry Newbury, and Hosea Kerekere.

Football Southwest representative player coordinator Melissa Condo said she felt the inaugural event was a success.

“We expected LCFA, being a larger and long-established competition, to be extremely competitive, and this was certainly the case across all teams,” she said.

“It’s wonderful hearing the first thing players and coaches saying after a match is ‘for next year, can we do, or can we try…’ you know then that the event’s gone well.

“Ultimately, that’s what our purpose behind the event is all about – creating greater opportunities for young people to play competitive sport, and building connections between our local clubs, and neighboring associations.”

It appears the South West representative program is heading in the right direction, with a long list of players receiving under 14 (and older) NPL contacts for 2026.

Several younger players have also been invited to train with talent identification and development programs with Football Victoria throughout the year.

“By creating opportunities for these kids to play in tougher competitions, these players

are able to push themselves further and able to be noticed more,” Ms Condo said.

“They’re able to keep their training up continuously through the year, rather than taking six months off to play another sport.

“While we are sad to see them move up to other competitions, it is so encouraging

to see these results coming through now, and to know that we are building the right foundations at our youngest age groups, to give them future opportunities like this.”

While the date is yet to be set for the 2026 Cross Border Cup, Limestone Coast will take on the host role for next year.

Netball sessions for boys

BOYS up to the age of 13 who have an interest in playing netball are welcome to take part in a ‘come and try session’ in Warrnambool this month.

Warrnambool City Netball Association is hoping to start a competition for boys in 2026 and, as such, is now seeking interested players.

“We will hold come and try sessions at the Caramut Road stadium on Friday, November 14 and 28,” organiser Marg Morgan said.

“These will start at 4.30pm each day and we’re hoping to see lots of enthusiastic boys turn up and enjoy the sessions.”

Former captain of the Australian men’s netball team, the Kelpies (and South Warrnambool’s Open netball coach) Will Jamieson, will lead the session along with current player, Camperdown’s Aidan Conheady.

“Boys 13 years old and younger of all abilities are most welcome to come along and take part,” Marg said.

“It would be great to start a competition for them next year.”

Super Smash Sunday returns

THE always-popular ‘Super Smash Sunday’ will return later this month, with some of the district’s best cricketers set to compete for the $3,000 in prize money.

While scheduling constraints saw last year’s event not held, the return in 2025 will no doubt see renewed enthusiasm and interest from clubs and spectators.

The original Purnim Cricket Club ‘Double Wicket Championship’ was established in 1976 and ran for 32 years until 2007.

During that period there were four players most successful with their respective partners, taking out three titles each – Kevin Leske, David ‘Mouse’ McLean, Peter McDonald and Brandt Walther.

This event was re-established and rebranded as ‘Super Smash Sunday’ in the 2022/23 season.

Mortlake pair Todd Lamont and Lachie Wareham took out the inaugural title.

In

Entries are now open for the 2025 ‘Super Smash.’

Entries are limited to 16, two-person teams, and spots are filling fast with competitors from as far afield as Geelong, Bendigo, Maryborough and from within the Warrnambool Moyne association already registering.

Interest has also been shown from Portland and the South West Cricket Association.

Cricketers with overseas backgrounds, as well as local talent, will be showcased vying for the title of Super Smash Champions.

The event is a round-by-round knock out competition until the two grand finalists remain to playoff for the subsequent title.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to see the event return this season after a one-year gap,” Northern Raiders Cricket Club

spokesperson Peter McDonald said.

“It’s a full-on, action packed day with the focus on batsmen scoring runs with field place restrictions and reduced size boundaries.

“It’s all about spectator entertainment and fun for the players.”

A fully serviced canteen will run from 8.30am on the day.

Action will get underway on the Rodger Henderson Oval (Purnim Recreation Reserve) from 10am on Sunday, November 23.

This will coincide with under 11 teams playing on the adjoining Peter McDonald Oval from 9am.

For further information contact Trevor on 0436 631 958 or Mick 0429 671 253.

Track action this weekend

THE clay looks set to fly once again at Premier Speedway this weekend.

The Allansford track will come alive on Saturday night, with over 100 cars registered across four classes for the program.

According to club president Rikki Stewart, the program has been brought forward to 4.45pm due to the large number of competitors.

The high number of entries has also seen the cancellation of the open pit walk, previously scheduled to begin around 4pm.

To date, 35 entries have been received for the 360/LS Sprintcars category, with a further 31 Formula 500s to contest the Jack Willsher Cup, 20 modified sedans, and 17 junior formula 500s. Gates open at 4pm.

2023/24 Russells Creek team-mates Craig Britain and Hamesh Huffadine were the victors.
