Should a mother have a favorite?
We think so.
An instant favorite, like all her Gemsli pieces, but for new and soon-to-be-mommies.
Maybe it’s one of our nursing slips, with clips she can unclick one-handed and half-asleep. Or perhaps it’s our petal-soft maternity cut, made with comfy room, stretch, and coverage. Or, it could be our cropped shells, the ones that help her feel pretty and put together instantly, even when so much of her has changed.
Of course she has a favorite. And you can too.

Recap: Lieutenant Blackman praises Garrison for the successful bust, in which they arrested 63 drug dealers. He mentions that they will now be busy arranging for their conviction.
Bruchi and Perry go back to school, unwillingly. Mrs. Gordon goes to a meeting with Shachne and the lawyers, where she discovers that no other lawyer would be willing to represent her husband. After the meeting, Shachne gets an unexpected call from one of the lawyers.
“That’s what they said?” Shachne asked, shaking his head in disbelief. “That’s unbelievable!”
Apparently, Harry on the other line agreed that it was unbelievable, making Mrs. Kleinberg unbearably curious to know what was going on.
“What’s going on?” she asked Shachne impatiently as he continued expressing his amazement to the lawyers.
Finally, after a long moment, Shachne hung up the phone and turned to her, a gratified smile on his face.
“You won’t believe what just happened!” he said.
Mrs. Kleinberg restrained herself from asking again what, exactly, was going on.
Finally, Shachne enlightened her.
“They’re pushing off the bail hearing again!” he said, his tone of voice making it clear that the news was very welcome.
“Why?” Mrs. Kleinberg asked in confusion, wondering why this was such happy news.
“You heard about this major drug king they arrested last night?” Shachne asked. Mrs. Kleinberg shook her head.
“Yeah, it was a big local drug ring, they arrested over sixty guys. In one night! I heard about it this morning, but I didn’t think it would have to do with Shmiel’s case.”
“So, what does it have to do?” Mrs. Kleinberg asked. Who cared about arrested drug dealers anyway?
“What it has to do is that now the media is so busy with these arrests – it was a huge operation – that they’re not talking as much about Finance2 and Shmiel Kleinberg. But what’s even more important is that the court and judges are busy with these arrests now, and they want to push off the bail hearing again. It’s going to be next week first. Do you understand what that means?”
“What does it mean?”
“That first of all, now we have time to prepare properly, figure out what’s going on. And second of all, that the public and the media will care less about what happens to Shmiel Kleinberg, because it’s already going to be old news.”
As Mrs. Kleinberg took in the significance of what Shachne was telling her, her face relaxed and she smiled.
“Wow, that’s amazing! Who would have believed that they would davka arrest these drug people now, so that we would get this extra time? Maybe now we’ll actually yes be able to get bail.”
“Maybe,” Shachne nodded. Having an extra few days to prepare meant so many more avenues could be explored. Once they figured out exactly what Shmiel was being charged with, they would know how to prepare the kind of bail that would make the judge happy.
He didn’t bother outlining all the benefits for Mrs. Kleinberg, figuring that she wouldn’t understand the legalese. But in this specific case, the next few days could literally spell the difference for Mr. Sam Kleinberg’s future.
“So I made up with Harry that we’ll meet again tonight,” Shachne continued. “Meanwhile, go home and rest up. I spoke to the organization that helps people in prison.”
“Will I be able to visit him?” She was afraid to do it, but she felt she had to ask.
“Not till the bail hearing, for sure not,” Shachne said kindly, “but I’ll find out if you can speak to him on the phone.”

Mrs. Kleinberg swallowed. She didn’t really know what she was going to tell
“Meanwhile, go home and take it easy a little. I’ll keep you posted about what’s
“Thank you,” she said gratefully. Shachne acknowledged the thanks with a nod of his head, a motion so similar to her husband’s mannerism that Mrs. Kleinberg felt the tiniest hint of moisture in her eyes.
Back at home, she turned on her Keurig as she contemplated her next steps. First, she had to call the girls’ schools to make sure they heard this wonderful news. She hoped they would understand that it was good news, even though it meant that their father was definitely not coming home for another
She called Bnos Golda first.
“Can I please speak to Mrs. Gordon?”
“Sure, I’ll put you through,” the secretary
“Hello?” Mrs. Gordon said a few
“Hello, Mrs. Gordon, it’s Mrs. Kleinberg.” Mrs. Kleinberg said, and then paused. That pause was full of a million things, a thousand things that had passed between them in the last few days, weeks, months, years.
“Mrs. Kleinberg, how can I help you?” Mrs. Gordon said, her voice warm. Mrs. Kleinberg realized suddenly how
Just a few weeks ago, she had called this woman to declare that she didn’t need or want her help. Now, all she had to do was call in her moment of need and Mrs. Gordon was offering her help without even being
She felt thankfulness, humiliation at having been so ungracious, and relief that someone realized how needy she truly was without her having to spell it out.
“Well, actually, there’s good news now,” Mrs. Kleinberg said. “The bail hearing was pushed off till next week, because of a big gang of drug dealers that were arrested. The court is busy with them, so my husband’s bail hearing is pushed off.”
It stung, just as much as it kept on stinging, to put the words “drug dealers” and “my husband” in relation to the same thing.
“It’s a great thing, because the more time we have to prepare, the more likely
it is that bail will be accepted," Mrs. Kleinberg explained.
“Wow, that is wonderful news,” Mrs. Gordon exclaimed. “We’re all hoping that your husband will be released very soon.”
“Yes,” Mrs. Kleinberg said. She cleared her throat. “Uh, can I ask you to tell Bruchi about this? I know she’s in class now, but she probably can’t concentrate anyway and I don’t want her to have to wait to find out about this.”
“Sure,” Mrs. Gordon responded instantly. “I’ll definitely tell her. Unless you want me to call her to the phone and you’ll tell her yourself?”
“No, no,” Mrs. Kleinberg said. “You tell her.”
“Okay,” Mrs. Gordon said.
Mrs. Kleinberg coughed. “Um, thanks for all your help,” she said awkwardly. “Can you also call Perry and tell her the news? She’s in school now, also.”
“Sure,” Mrs. Gordon said.
“Thank you,” Mrs. Kleinberg said, the words clumsy in her mouth. She didn’t say more.
The irony was terribly stark by now, as the tables turned with a definite click.
Bruchi was having a miserable day.
All she wanted to do was blend into her own shadow and disappear when the lights turned on. But instead, everywhere she went, she was supervisible. Everyone stared at her as if she was the latest new attraction at the zoo, her classmates, girls from younger classes, even the teachers in the hallways.
She put up a brave front, of course, not willing to let humiliation completely overwhelm her.
Zlaty was her faithful sidekick, and the two of them leisurely sauntered down the hallway toward the water fountain, pretending that there weren’t a hundred eyes burning up her sweater back.
She took a cup of water but didn’t dare try to drink it, knowing it would get stuck in her throat.
Finally, the recess bell rang, and Bruchi had never been happier to return to her desk. There, in the two feet where she would park herself for the next two hours, she wouldn’t constantly have to make sure to wipe any trace of the selfconsciousness she was feeling from her face.
Just as she was settling into her seat and letting her racing heart slow down, there was a knock at the door, and Mrs. Gordon pushed it open.
She scanned the faces in the eighth
grade classroom, her gaze landing on Bruchi Kleinberg.
Bruchi felt her chest heat up a million degrees in the space of those few seconds.
Why was Mrs. Gordon looking for her? Did she need her company in her office again?
As soon as Mrs. Gordon saw how Bruchi’s face visibly fell at the sight of her principal, Mrs. Gordon realized her mistake.
It was Bruchi’s first day back in class, between her classmates, and all she wanted was to feel “normal,” Not different, not singled out.
Mrs. Gordon’s dramatic entry was ruining all of Bruchi’s efforts just to survive the day.
As soon as Mrs. Gordon realized this, she redirected her gaze to the teacher and said, “Mrs. Tabak? Can you meet me outside for a moment?”
Mrs. Tabak walked out of the classroom, while Bruchi’s heart rate began slowing again.
“Please tell Bruchi Kleinberg to come see me immediately after class,” Mrs. Gordon said to Mrs. Tabak once they were safely out of earshot of the eighth graders.
“But please, make sure none of her friends hear you telling her, okay?”
Mrs. Tabak nodded. ***
Pessy Cooper’s favorite lessons these days were parsha lessons. Before taming her terror student called Nechama Raizel, parsha lessons were a horror. Nechama Raizel would raise her hand frantically every other minute, and if she didn’t call on her immediately, she would skip the formality and just yell out her question or comment. And Nechama Raizel, smart as she was, didn’t ask just any questions or add just any comments.
Every time Nechama Raizel used to add her two cents it would completely fluster Pessy, who usually didn’t know what to answer her.
“But, Miss Cooper, how come the animals didn’t eat each other up on the teiva?” Nechama Raizel would ask.
Or,
“Miss Cooper, you didn’t teach the story about Elifaz!”
Plenty of times, her questions would stump Pessy, who prepared her parsha lessons using her friend’s old file.
But now, post having tamed her terror student named Nechama Raizel, with the help of Mrs. Shapiro, parsha lessons looked entirely different.
First, based on Mrs. Shapiro’s recommendations, Pessy prepared her own lessons using a variety of sefarim. She would look into the Chumash, read The Medrash Says, and also take a look at some mefarshim.
Then, she would write up the outline of the story she planned to tell her students, and check back with her friend’s file to make sure she hadn’t left out anything interesting, and for ideas on how to say it.
When she actually taught the parsha, there was something so satisfying about telling over the story she had just learned in depth for herself. The extra excitement carried over to her students, who sat mesmerized throughout.
Except Nechama Raizel, of course, but Pessy was prepared for that, too, with Mrs. Shapiro’s help.
“But, Miss Cooper, you didn’t say the story about the stick in Yisro’s backyard!”
If she hadn’t prepared thoroughly, she would have been completely caught off guard by Nechama Raizel’s interruption, not knowing what to answer or even what Nechama Raizel was talking about.
Instead, Pessy now knew exactly what Nechama Raizel was talking about, and even better, based on the advice that Mrs. Shapiro had given her, exactly how to handle it.
“Wow, Nechama Raizel!” Pessy praised effusively. “I’m so impressed that you know so much about this week’s parsha! It really is an interesting story about the stick that Moshe Rabbeinu pulled out of Yisro’s backyard. Maybe, if we have time after learning the parsha story and answering the questions, we’ll be able to tell that story also.”
Nechama Raizel beamed at Pessy’s warm praise and her friends’ admiring glances, basking in the good feeling of being in the know, and thrilled at the possibility of getting more attention at the end of the lesson.
One such interaction at the beginning of each parsha lesson was enough to keep Nechama Raizel listening raptly for the remainder of the lesson.
Besides for giving Pessy the freedom to actually teach, she loved the feeling that she was able to build her student up – the one that had made her life miserable! – with just a few carefully chosen words.
The glow and shine on Nechama Raizel’s face after each compliment Pessy gave her made Pessy feel like the heroine of the hour.

NINE A.M. IS A COMPLETELY FICTIONAL STORY WHICH TAKES PLACE FIFTY YEARS AFTER THE HOLOCAUST.
RECAP OF CHAPTER 17: Leo Sherer’s daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and David Elkovitz, are becoming more and more interested in Yiddishkeit. They would have preferred to keep this fact a secret, but when forced to choose which preschool group to sign up their son Dror for—Naomi’s frum one or the irreligious one—they choose the frum group, and thus realize that their interest in Yiddishkeit has now become public knowledge.
Dena and her kids take a tour of her in-laws’ spice factory, which specializes in producing high-quality paprika made from Israeli peppers.
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
…Three rolls of white English silk
Three rolls of cream chiffon fabric
Three hundred grams plastic pearls
Five spools of thin wire thread
Five spools medium-thickness nylon thread
“Has it been almost a year since the engagement? It’s obvious you have weddings coming up soon. Congratulations!” Katarina Wangel smiled as she dropped the order form for the materials on the table in the sewing workshop.
“Thank you,” Rechel replied as she looked at the paper. The sewing room was empty; everyone had already gone home, and only she was left to finalize the purchase list for the coming week. “It really is for the wedding dress for Elky and Naomi, with the Creator’s help; and the girls who will come after them in the next few years. The old bridal gown that everyone has been using until now has been altered and changed so many times, and it’s also gone yellow.” After a moment she added, “Not all of the materials here are for that one dress, though. We need the fabrics and the threads here
in any case, and Dina and Sima also asked for the plastic pearls, for the beading and their scarfs… But the original purpose is definitely to make the young women happy.”
“Your Naomi deserves it, there is no doubt. Even if only for the fact that she’s the daughter of one of our best seamstresses.” Katarina was in a complimentary mood today. “Fine, we’ll supply you with all of this, along with the rest of the order.”
“Thank you. I’ll let Naomi know, and I’m sure she will be happy.” And she’d draft a fitting thank you letter.
“That’s very important,” Katarina affirmed dryly, “and that is what I wanted to talk to you about. I just spoke to Rachel Cohen, the mother of the other bride, and I asked her to convey the message to their groom’s parents. If you want, you can speak with your sister Chani, the mother of your future-son-in-law. Or I can speak to her myself..”
Rechel’s back stiffened. “About what, Hauptmann?” she asked submissively.
“We decided to allow you to hold the wedding celebrations at our manor house.”
Rechel raised her eyes. “That…is a very generous offer.”
“Obviously, the food will be yours and your responsibility, but the
space…” She smiled her sour smile. “You can ask your sister Chani. Our medium-sized hall should be very dignified for a wedding celebration.”
“That is really so kind of you, Hauptmann.” Rechel took the list from the table and folded it in two, then four, then six. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Go ahead.”
“Throughout the years, until now, we’ve made our weddings in open spaces, or in the upstairs hall of the factory, and it was just fine. What…” She groped for the right words, but failed to find them. Something got stuck in her throat.
“Why did we decide to be nice all of a sudden?” Katarina chuckled. “First of all, there hasn’t been a wedding here in a long time, and we saw how thrilled you all are now, so we decided to express our participation in your joy.”
Rechel nodded, her mouth dry.
“And another reason, no less an important one, is that the situation today is becoming more complicated than it’s ever been. Planes, helicopters, photos from space… You know how much effort we make to ensure that you can continue to live here. If you celebrate outside in a large group, the camp might be easily discovered. A gathering of dozens of people in a place that is supposed to be desolate is something that can raise many questions. But if there will be loud sounds of music from our house, that won’t be suspicious to anyone, even if a helicopter flies right over us.”
“That’s such a strange answer.” Binyamin put his father’s notebooks back on the shelf, one after another.
“Why?” Naomi’s eyes were questioning.
whatever his name is, got hold of some old recordings of Yosse’le Rosenblatt, from before the Nazi days. And there’s a gramophone at the estate, and Katarina told her mother that they plan to turn it on in their honor.”
Binyamin turned around. “Did you say Bernard?”
“I said Elky. She’ll have the first wedding here with real Jewish music, and not just that old violin that Zeide’s friend has, which is also only used to play classical music because they are so afraid it might be heard on the outside.”
“Bernard has something to do with this?”
“Yes.” Naomi sounded irritated. “Why does it matter so much to you?”
She missed it all so much.
And the sounds of Margalit’s house reminded her of the home she’d always wanted to have.
“Because it’s much simpler for them to limit the number of participants at the wedding than to let us make it in their place. They could have demanded that we have just ten people, without any celebrations or anything. What’s the real reason? Do they love us so much that they want to prevent our chassanim and kallos from having a traumatic wedding?”
“So what do you think the real reason is?” Rechel asked. “I don’t know,” he muttered.
“It really is strange, I agree with you,” she said. “But maybe they really don’t want to go head to head with us. Ten people, without celebrations, you know…it’s something that may not sit well with us.”
“And what exactly would we do if something doesn’t sit well with us? We’ll escape over the walls, to the loving world out there?” he asked with a mirthless laugh.
“Shh…enough with this talk!” his mother said sharply. “They treat us just fine. You know, they want good work from us, without force.”
“Yes…” he said with a sigh.
The dreamy kallah sitting on the side was oblivious to this exchange between her mother and brother. She drummed her finger lightly on the table and said suddenly, “My friend Elky wants a wedding at the manor. She says that Wangel’s son, Bernard, or
“Listen, Naomi, and listen well.” He took a deep breath. “If Bernard is involved, it must be much worse than I thought at first. The man doesn’t have a drop of goodness in him. If he made the effort and got hold of things and made promises so that this plan should succeed, it has to be a terrible thing. Don’t agree, do you hear? It’s better to get married with just ten people, without a band or anything—so long as you don’t get involved in this whole thing.” He looked very agitated, and his voice dropped to a whisper. “Mamme, tell Aunt Chani that it’s not worth it, and that she should tell her Aryeh. Or I’ll tell him tomorrow myself, after Shacharis.”
“Don’t tell him anything!” Naomi stood up. “Binyamin, did anyone ask you to get involved here? Excuse me, but just because you decided yourself that something here is not right, you can’t expect everyone to start dancing to your horn!”
“So long as they don’t dance to Bernard’s gramophone,” her brother said with a smirk, but his tone remained as agitated as before. “Listen, Naomi. I once heard him talking about an experiment he is doing, something relating to us. Since then, I’ve become suspicious of him. I have no idea what this person’s plans or intentions are, but it doesn’t sound good. Didn’t you read the newspaper article Wangel brought us years ago, something about a gene called 1000 or something to that effect?”
His mother turned around to him. “I remember such a thing. Why?”
“Who knows if it isn’t connected to the weddings that they want us to hold in the manor house.” His voice dropped further. “I’m afraid of him.”
“I also remember the article, but what you’re saying is delusional,” Naomi said, checking that the window was closed. “If you tell that to someone, they will think you are paranoid. What are you afraid of? What do you think they could be scheming? To scatter poison at the weddings? You know that we are in their hands all the time; they could kill us easily if they would want to.”
“We are in Hashem’s hands all the time,” her mother corrected her. But then she added, “Binyamin, I’m asking you not to speak about your concerns with anyone, do you hear?”
Both of her children turned to look at her. She was sitting at the table, her chin resting in her palm.
“Mamme?” Naomi asked quietly, after a pause.
“What?” Her voice was flat.
“You…is everything okay?”
“I’m fine, baruch Hashem.”
“Do you think Binyamin is right?”
Rechel shook her head. “No. It’s hard for me to believe that they want to harm someone here, although I agree that the story is strange. But it will be more dangerous for us if they think that you don’t believe them.”
“So because they are not allowed to know that we are skeptical about Katarina’s excuses about their sudden magnanimity, we have to take the risk and do whatever they say?”
“We don’t have to, because it’s not an order, but rather a generous offer,” Rechel said. “And we should leave the main people involved to decide if they want to accept it or to get married like those who preceded them.”
“Or at a small wedding of ten people, depending on what options Katarina offers,” Naomi murmured quietly. “Mamme, what do you suggest I do?”
Rechel sighed. “I think we first have to hear what Chani and her husband say about it, and what the chassan thinks. Then, maybe after that, we should go to Rabbi Schwartzbrod and ask him quietly—” She looked at Binyamin—“but very quietly, about whether your concerns are valid. But you need to realize that the fact that Bernard doesn’t like Jews doesn’t necessarily mean that he is lying when he says he got old recordings of Jewish music for us, or whatever his offer was.”
Dena was peeling potatoes in her mother-in-law’s kitchen to the sounds of the music coming from the dining room (how long could she just sit on her mother-in-law’s couch, doing nothing?), when her phone rang.
It was her sister Margalit.
“What is that music?” Margalit asked. It was a few seconds after seven, when the price of phone calls went down, and she had called to wish Dena a happy birthday.
“Some fancy classical music that my in-laws enjoy listening to, the type that you and I don’t really know much about…”
“Tell them that they should put on ‘Siman Tov U’mazel Tov’ for you now—it’s your birthday! One minute, Shaindy, Abba is resting now. Then he has to go to yeshivah… What? Oh, to Aunt Dena, sure. Dena, Shaindy tells you mazel tov! She’s asking if you remember that her birthday was the day before yesterday and that she turned four.”
“Tell her I say mazel tov to; she’s so cute!” A potato accidentally got nicked by the peeler, perhaps due to the tears that were blurring Dena’s vision.
“Bye, Dena, and lots of mazel tov wishes from afar! I feel bad I can’t buy you a present or anything…”
“Your phone call is a huge present,” Dena said, choking on her tears. She missed it all so much. And the sounds of Margalit’s house reminded her of the home she’d always wanted to have.

Q
With Pesach upon us, I am curious about potato starch. Is it really as unhealthy and fattening as it is deemed to be?
APotato starch, a lesser-known ingredient in the culinary world, holds significant potential as a versatile thickening agent and a glutenfree alternative to traditional flours. Derived from the humble potato, this white, powdery substance has gained traction in various industries for its unique properties and culinary applications. However, like any food product, understanding its composition, uses, and potential drawbacks is essential for informed consumption.
Potato starch is extracted from the starchrich cells of potatoes, typically sourced from varieties with high starch content. Unlike potato flour, which includes the entire potato ground into a fine powder, potato starch is a refined product, isolated through a process that separates the starch from the potato's fibrous components. The production of potato starch involves several steps, including washing, grinding, separating the starch from the potato fibers, and drying the starch to obtain the final product. While the extraction process itself is relatively straightforward, it's essential to consider the quality of the raw potatoes and the processing methods employed.
Potato starch primarily comprises carbohydrates, with minimal amounts of protein, fat, and fiber. While exact nutrient composition may vary, it generally contains about 88-92% carbohydrates by weight. As such, it is relatively high in carbohydrates and low in other macronutrients compared
Is potato starch worse than flour? The comparison between potato starch and flour depends on individual dietary needs and preferences. Potato starch is gluten-free, making it suitable for individuals with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease. Additionally, it has a neutral flavor and a fine texture, making it ideal for thickening sauces, soups, and gravies without imparting a distinct taste. However, it's essential to recognize that potato starch lacks the fiber, vitamins, and minerals found in whole potatoes or whole-grain flours. While it can serve as a useful ingredient in certain recipes, it should not replace whole foods in a balanced diet for all year-round use. Pesach is a good exception to this rule.
While potato starch can be a valuable addition to the pantry, individuals monitoring their carbohydrate intake or following lowcarb diets may need to exercise caution. Due to its high carbohydrate content and minimal nutritional value beyond carbohydrates, excessive consumption of potato starch may contribute to spikes in blood sugar levels and hinder weight management efforts. Additionally, individuals with diabetes or insulin resistance should be mindful of their intake of high-carbohydrate foods, including potato starch, to maintain stable blood sugar levels.

One of the four names of Pesach is Chag Ha’Aviv. The Holiday of the Spring is the time of year when the Jewish people left Mitzrayim, and according to the Torah, Pesach must be celebrated each year in the spring.
You are daydreaming of going through all the seasons. As you imagine the summertime, you see the sun shining over beautiful green grass and trees. As the fall sets in, the trees start changing colors, and the leaves slowly fall to the ground. Winter comes and everything becomes blanketed in a layer of snow. The world is napping. And then comes spring! The trees start blossoming, flowers bloom, the sun starts to shine again, and the whole world comes awake.
Spring is the season when we celebrate the Yom Tov of Pesach, which is also known as Chag Ha’Aviv. This is because the miracle of Pesach happened in the spring. However, springtime also teaches us a valuable lesson about learning the Torah and fulfilling the Mitzvos. Just as in the spring the world awakens and everything begins to bloom, when we learn Torah, we gain a fresh and beautiful understanding of the Mitzvos. Learning Torah brings excitement and enthusiasm, making the Mitzvos more meaningful and alive. Doing a Mitzvah becomes a fulfilling and enriching experience.
What is a Mitzvah that you know the reason for? Does this make it more exciting to do?
With a pencil, draw an outline of two lilacs (two large leaves) with stems and leaves.
Take 5-6 q-tips, tie them with a rubber band and dip into the lighter purple paint.
With some dark green paint outline the leaves, and add stem details. With white paint you can add some more leafy details.
Mix white paint with a bit of blue to make a light blue. Paint over the whole canvas with a large brush.
Dab your clustered q-tips where you want your lilacs to be.
Your Chag Ha’Aviv Painting is complete! Happy Pesach!
Put some light green paint on the palette and a bit of water, using small brush paint the background leaves.
Take 1 q-tip, dip it in dark purple, and dab it on the left side of the lilacs. Do the same with white paint but on the opposite side.

Through ongoing Vinishmartmen initiatives, it’s been our privilege to empower you with the knowledge, insights, and encouragement you need to take control of your health — and the health of your family.
Where attendees gained invaluable knowledge on a broad range of meaningful health topics such as food allergies, healthy sleep, and dealing with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Beyond bringing in leading experts in each field as guest speakers, we’ve given attendees the opportunity to open up and ask their pressing questions directly to these experts in an unintimidating setting. Participants have also received valuable resources for help on these issues, and support from other attendees who struggle with similar challenges.
Earlier this year, thousands in our community responded to the call and prioritized their health. An impact measured in an outpouring of response — and in a record-breaking number of well visits throughout Brooklyn.
