Books are filled with knowledgable information and so is Mrs. Glavach! You might not know, but Mrs. Glavach has been a librarian for a total of eight years. She has read about 200 books, as of today. Her favorite authors are Alan Gratz and Pam Muñoz Ryan. Her preferred genres are historical and realistic fiction. Her most-liked non-fiction book is the Action Bible. Her mos t loved book is a historical fiction, titled Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan because it blends three different stories from three diffe rent times. She says that everyone should read it before they leave fifth grade. Mrs. Glavach has searched how many boo ks we’ve checked out from the beginning of the school year, and the total is 3,401! She likes being a librarian because she likes enco uraging kids to read and having students with her from PK3-fifth grade. She also likes to build relationships with the kids. So muc h so, that this year is going to be her fifth year doing Student Lead ership. Before she came to WCS, she was a project coordina tor at the University of Miami. Her favorite type of shoes are Birk enstocks, and her favorite food is acai bowls.
