The point is that this #innovation- quest for the new, (thus they always advertise as ‘new and improved’)- is filtering an idea into modern man that the old has no value in it. Unfortunately the Muslims have traded their old lamps as well, and the old lamps worked. So the time we are

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 water or milk or maas

2 tablespoon semolina

Method

Sift all the above.

Rub ghee in dry ingredients.

Add water, warm milk, warm maas to make dough and knead gently.

Make 60 gr balls an roll saucer size.

Cut into 4's an fry in hot oil.

Once fried, can be frozen. Put into airtight container.

When needed thaw at room temperature. DO NOT MICROWAVE.

THE ESSENCE OF LIFE IS THE EXISTENCE OF FAITH IN YOUR LIFE

Today we live in a broken and very much ’ sick’ world. A world that is dependent on ’itself’ rather than on something far greater than itself. So many distractions, opinions, information, ‘knowledge,’ ideas, theories, data, etc., that either feeds our brain and therefore our very existence but are these things necessarily good or helpful to us? Some depend on our families, others depend on your job, your worldly possessions and comforts or security while others depend on God.

Whatever it is that you depend on, the question is will that ’thing’ be able to sustain you through the highs and lows of life and get you to the finish line? I want to recommend for those that have tried numerous roads in finding the source to your contentment, peace and enlightenment yet still find something lacking or shortcoming to consider the following. I wish to suggest that it might be and most probably is as a result of the lack of putting “the essence of FAITH” as a important factor into the equation of your existence.

When we make ‘faith’ the essence of our lives we create a ‘substance’ that brings meaning to our lives. Not the kind of meaning that the world can give or offer us but a more meaningful substance that comes from a divine Source that gives far more than simply knowing that you are on a ‘journey of survival’ it will give you LIFE and life more abundantly. The essence of faith in your life is the beginning of creating a purpose, a direction to life. It brings hope, joy, love, peace and contentment into every area of your life, your home, work, studies or any other natural or spiritual thing. Irrespective of circumstances, environment, struggles the ‘essence of faith’ in our lives removes the negatives and replaces them with positives. It creates an environment in which we change our bad behaviours, bad habits, wrongful thinking and create a pattern of Godly purpose and function that begins to sustain itself but more than that it develops a pattern of cognitive thinking and behaviour that energises positivity.

In the Christian faith the New Testament term for faith is ‘pisteuo,’ which describes the religious relationship into which the Gospel calls people to trust in God through Christ. The most common characteristic of pisteuo conveys a ‘movement of trust’ going out to and laying hold of, the object of its confidence. The nature of faith according to the Bible, rises out of divine testimony, authenticated by God therefore, faith rests upon the acceptance of that testimony, and lives accordingly. ‘Faith’ and life are intimately connected. It is meant to become a LIFESTYLE.

The three major tenets of ‘biblical’ faith are as follows:

1. Faith in God involves ‘ right belief about God’— Throughout the Bible trust in God is made to rest on the belief of what He has revealed to humanity concerning His character and purpose. The frequency with which the Bible depicts faith as knowing, believing, and obeying “the truth” show that its authors regarded orthodoxy (right belief) as faith’s fundamental ingredient. Faith and the word “belief” are often treated synonymously, which has led to Christians being called “believers” but being a believer does not necessary make you a person of FAITH. True faith is placing your full trust in God for your entire existence.

2. Faith rests on ‘Divine testimony’—Beliefs are convictions held on the grounds of divine testimony. Whether a particular belief should be treated as a known certainty or a doubtful opinion depends upon the worthiness of the testimony on which that belief is based. The Bible views faith’s convictions as certainties and equates them with knowledge for it says in 1 John 3:2 “ Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” So we see that faith is not something material, tangible or seeing, it is also not something that springs out of any type of mystical experience but because it rests on the testimony of God it is utterly trustworthy. To receive His testimony is to certify that God is true and to reject it is to make God a liar which He is not!!

3. Faith is a ‘supernatural Divine gift’ Sin and Satan have so blinded fallen mankind that it cannot discern this divine truth nor comprehend the realities of which I speak. It dependents on feeding the fallen world with more and more confusion and falsehoods to distract those who wish to find its power and purpose. By doing so, it disables those who wish to seek the real Truth. The key to creating the substance that will draw you nearer to faith which will sustain you through all your trials and tribulations is in finding the Source. It does not lie in finding a ‘destination’ but in finding the road that will lead you to the Source and that comes only through trusting and believing in God.
