education, hospitality training, and personnel development. We have therefore targeted these areas in the first phase of the programme and physical facilities development. The Community College will equip our people with the skills needed for their chosen careers or to pursue further tertiary education abroad. My Government views the Community College as a joint venture between us, the people of this country, and our friends abroad who have a lasting interest in the future of the British Virgin Islands.
