Lo mismo ocurre con nuestras entrevistadas, cada una ejerce una vocación y trabajo con amor a su familia y ministerio, así que me es grato invitarte que leas y veas la vida de la diputada Marisela Terrazas, para quien su vocación es la política. También la carrera de Rocío Madrid, quien es una mujer bendecída en todo lo que hace. unca habíamos estado más alejados del verdadero concepto de la felicidad que ahora, cuando la mercadotecnia nos ha enseñado que ésta viene envuelta en un paquete, está en un lugar o la puedes alcanzar a través de una transacción. Aunque nos hace sentir felices ir de compras, poder regalar algo a un ser querido o salir de vacaciones, no podemos concluir que el estado de felicidad plena lo vamos a encontrar con hacer eso, pues es momentáneo, y en ese círculo vicioso de adquisición sólo podemos llegar a acumular frustración. La felicidad es un estado de armonía y plenitud que obtiene el ser humano cuando a alcanzado su objetivo, por eso la felicidad es relativa y es una conquista personal, a la que todos tenemos derecho

sin importar la edad, la familia de origen y las circunstancias que nos rodean. La felicidad consiste en alcanzar una buena calidad de vida, para que podamos vivir con alegría e ilusión. Se logra al estar en paz con Dios, hacer su voluntad y tener un corazón que le ame y le busque. La felicidad la alcanzamos cuando elegimos perdonar y soltar las heridas del pasado para volver a brillar.
NO TODO ES COLOR DE ROSA Sin embargo, necesitamos comprender que en la vida no siempre todo va a salir tal y como esperamos, a veces vendrán situaciones que pondrán a prueba nuestro nivel de madures para enfrentar las circunstancias. Por eso está muy relacionada con el agradecimiento, alguien que agradece está enfocado en lo que tiene y en el aprendizaje de cada momento que vive.

Happiness is a state of harmony and abundance that the human being obtains when he has reached his objective. That is why happiness is relative and a personal conquest, to which we all have the right regardless of age, a family of origin and the circumstances surrounding us. Happiness consists of achieving a good quality of life so we can live with joy and illusion. It is achieved by being at peace with God, doing His will and having a heart that loves and seeks Him. Happiness is achieved when we choose to forgive and let go of past wounds to shine again.
NOT EVERYTHING IS ROSY However, we need to understand that in life, not always everything will go as we expect; sometimes, situations will come that will test our level of maturity to face the circumstances. That is why it is closely related to gratitude; someone who is grateful is focused on what he has and on learning from every moment he lives.

La importancia DE TENER AMIGOS
LAS RELACIONES PERSONALES VIENEN ACOMPAÑADAS DE VARIOS BENEFICIOS, ¡DESCÚBRELOS! POR ARLYN LÓPEZ ¡No imaginas la importancia de los amigos en nuestra vida! Dicen que los amigos se cuentan con los dedos de una mano, pero así sea uno o cinco hay que cuidar la amistad y también ir abriendo nuestro círculo a nuevas posibilidades, las cuales, en la mayoría de los casos, se acompañan de varios beneficios. Los buenos amigos son buenos para tu salud, pueden ayudarte a celebrar los buenos momentos y apoyarte en los malos, además de que previenen el aislamiento y la soledad al ofrecerte compañía si la necesitas. Los amigos también pueden: • Aumentar la sensación de que formas parte de un grupo • Te dan más felicidad y reducen tu estrés • Mejoran la confianza en uno mismo y la autoestima • Te ayudan a sobrellevar traumas, como el divorcio, una enfermedad grave, la pérdida del trabajo o la muerte de un ser querido • Te animan a cambiar o a evitar hábitos que sean poco saludables, como beber en exceso o no hacer ejercicio, entre otros. Puedes hacer amigos y mejorar las relaciones que ya tienes si… • Mantienes contacto con las personas con las que hayas trabajado o con las que hayas ido a clase • Vuelves a conectarte con viejos amigos • Contactas con las personas con las que hayas disfrutado conversar en encuentros sociales • Te presentas con los vecinos • Dedicas tiempo a conectarte con familiares Para conocer personas nuevas que podrían convertirse en amigos tienes que ir a lugares donde se reúne la gente. No te límites a una única estrategia para conocer personas, cuanto más amplias sean tus iniciativas, mayor será tu probabilidad de éxito. La persistencia también es importante, toma la iniciativa en vez de esperar a que te inviten, y sigue intentándolo, quizá tengas que sugerir planes varias veces antes de saber si el interés de un nuevo amigo es mutuo. Y un consejo que nunca falla: sonreír, la sonrisa manda un mensaje y el mensaje es “no te voy a hacer daño”. Así que animémonos a salir de nuestra zona de confort, a sonreír más y crecer nuestro circulo social que eso nos traerá muchos beneficios.

THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING FRIENDS Personal relationships come with several benefits; discover them! You can’t imagine the importance of friends in our lives! They say that friends are counted on the fingers of one hand, but whether it is one of five, we must take care of our friendships and open our circle to new possibilities, which, in most cases, are accompanied by several benefits. Good friends are good for your health, they can help you celebrate the good times and support you in the bad, plus they prevent isolation and loneliness by offering companionship if you need it. Friends can also: • Increase the feeling that you are part of a group. • Give you more happiness and reduce your stress • Improve your self-confidence and self-esteem • Help you cope with trauma, such as divorce, serious illness, loss of a job or death of a loved one. • Encourage you to change or avoid habits that are unhealthy, such as excessive drinking or not exercising, among others. You can make friends and improve the relationships you already have if you... • You keep in touch with people you have worked with or gone to class with • Reconnect with old friends • Contact people, you have enjoyed conversing with at social gatherings • Introduce yourself to neighbors • Spend time connecting with family members To meet new people who might become friends you have to go to places where people gather. Don’t limit yourself to a single strategy for meeting people; the broader your initiatives, the more likely you are to succeed. Persistence is also essential; take the initiative instead of waiting to be invited. Keep trying; you may have to suggest plans several times before knowing if a new friend’s interest is mutual. And one tip that never fails: smile; smiling sends a message, and the news is “I’m not going to hurt you.” So let’s encourage ourselves to get out of our comfort zone, smile more and grow the social circle that will bring us many benefits.

as ideas comunes acerca del matrimonio están más influidas por las costumbres y tradiciones terrenales que por las instrucciones que da la palabra de Dios, pero si éstas últimas se ignoran o pasan por alto habrá mucho desorden en la relación, lo cual no sólo afecta a los cónyuges, sino también a los hijos. En el primer párrafo de esta redacción encontramos que hay un orden que marca el Señor para la relación instituida por él, quien nos habla de principios eternos, como por ejemplo que el hombre tiene por cabeza a Cristo y la mujer debe estar sujeta a su esposo, no por obligación sino por obediencia. Sabiendo que el Señor dirige el matrimonio, la siguiente instrucción es que ambos deben aprender a someterse uno al otro, lo que significa que no todo lo sabe uno solo, sino que hay que compartir las habilidades y dones espirituales para aportar a la relación riqueza espiritual, es decir, sí, somos iguales ante el Señor. Gálatas 3:28 nos habla acerca de la valoración. Dios dice que valemos lo mismo, uno y otro, así que debe quedar fuera de la relación toda rivalidad, competencia y comparación, si queremos que ésta sea sana hemos de seguir las instrucciones del “diseñador divino”.

MARRIAGE HIERARCHY OR EQUALITY? To achieve a healthy relationship, we must follow the Lord’s instructions through his word. Common ideas about marriage are more influenced by earthly customs and traditions than by the instructions given by the word of God. Still, if the latter are ignored or overlooked, the relationship will have much disorder, affecting the spouses and the children. In the first paragraph, we find that there is an order that the Lord marks for the relationship instituted by him, who speaks to us of eternal principles, for example, that the man has Christ as head and the woman should be subject to her husband, not by obligation but by obedience. Knowing that the Lord directs the marriage, the next instruction is that both must learn to submit to each other. That means that not everything is known only by one, but we must share the skills and spiritual gifts to bring spiritual wealth to the relationship; that is, yes, we are equal before the Lord. Galatians 3:28 tells us about valuation. God says that we are worth the same, one and the other, so all rivalry, competition and comparison must be left out of the relationship; if we want it to be healthy, we must follow the instructions of the “divine designer.”

ecuerdo perfectamente que cuando estaba a punto de elegir lo que quería estudiar, dudé bastante y en ocasiones me sentía asustada porque no sabía si la profesión que elegiría sería la correcta. Ahora sé que lo mejor que puede hacer fue pedir a Dios que me ayudara a elegir sabiamente para no equivocarme. A lo mejor ahora eres tú quien ha llegado a esta etapa en la vida, lo cual indica que debes comenzar a pensar qué es lo que más te gusta hacer, para así poder elegir correctamente. Siempre he pensado que antes de tomar una decisión debes analizar detenidamente en qué quisieras trabajar después de salir de la universidad y si lo que estás eligiendo realmente te apasiona. Me gustaría darte cinco consejos para que puedas ponerlos en práctica y que logres ampliar tu panorama para poder tomar una buena decisión, sin temor a equivocarte. 1. Piensa en qué te gustaría hacer todos los días. Medita si lo que quieres estudiar te agrada tanto que puedes desempeñar dicho trabajo

sin problema alguno Analiza cuáles son tus fortalezas y debilidades. Cuando conozcas con qué te identificas y qué te gustaría hacer, analiza si tienes el perfil para ello. Puedes buscar algún test en Internet que pueda ayudarte a conocer que área es ideal para ti. Investiga sobre la carrera que te interesa. Si ya tienes en mente una carrera, haz una investigación sobre ella, que materias llevarás, en dónde puedes trabajar, cuánto ganarás, los posibles riesgos a los que puedes estar expuesto, en qué te podrías especializar, etcétera. Conoce las oportunidades laborales que podrías tener. Para saber más sobre este aspecto, puedes investigar con personas que ya estén trabajando en lo que quieres estudiar, las cuales puedan ampliar tu panorama, sobre todo investiga que tan amplias son las ofertas de trabajo. Pregunta sobre universidades y planes de estudio. Elige la universidad más adecuada para estudiar tu carrera. Pregunta sobre el plan de estudios, los profesores, las clases, cómo te puedes titular, si puedes obtener una beca y muchas cosas más.
I remember perfectly well that when I was about to choose what I wanted to study, I hesitated quite a bit and sometimes felt scared because I didn’t know if the profession I would choose would be right. Now I know the best thing to do is ask God to help me choose wisely so I wouldn’t make a mistake. Maybe now you are the one who has reached this stage in life, which indicates that you should start thinking about what you like to do the most so that you can choose correctly. I have always thought that before making a decision, you should carefully analyze what you would like to work in after leaving college and if you are passionate about your choice. I would like to give you five tips so that you can put them into practice and broaden your outlook to make a good decision without fear of making a mistake. 1. Think about what you would like to do every day. Think about whether you like what you want to study so much that you can do it without any problem. 2. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses. Once you know what you identify with and would like to do, analyze if you have the profile for it. You can look for a test on the Internet to help you know which area is ideal for you. 3. Research the career you are interested in. If you already have a job in mind, research it, what subjects you will take, where you can work, how much you will earn, the possible risks you might be exposed to, what you could specialize in, etc. 4. Know the job opportunities you could have. To learn more about this aspect, you can investigate with people who are already working in what you want to study, which can broaden your outlook, mainly investigate how wide are the job offers. 5. Ask about universities and study plans. Choose the most appropriate university to study for your career. Ask about the curriculum, the professors, the classes, how you can get your degree if you can get a scholarship and much more.

“He decidido que mi vocación es la vocación política”, asegura para Visionarias la diputada panista por el Distrito 05, Marisela Terrazas Muñoz, quien de niña soñaba con ser secretaria de Educación, sin imaginar que ese deseo la llevaría a la docencia y le daría una serie de importantes oportunidades. A sus 35 años, la diputada local del Congreso del Estado de Chihuahua se encuentra en su segunda legislatura, en la que se ha encargado de presentar iniciativas enfocadas en la protección de la niñez, así como impulsar leyes de protección hacia los menores y las mujeres del estado. Actualmente Marisela preside la Comisión de Juventud y Niñez, y entre los
temas por los que más ha trabajado se encuentran las leyes en contra del abuso infantil, la ley para la regulación de las guarderías y la ley de adopción, esta última, su orgullo más grande. “Hicimos esa ley y pusimos el programa de adopciones temporales, que es el de acogimiento familiar”, de hecho, la legisladora es madre de una joven de 19 años, quien llegó a su vida gracias a un programa de acogimiento, así como de un bebé biológico de apenas 7 meses de edad.
LA VIDA POLÍTICA Pero el trabajo en beneficio de los demás no vino de improviso para la juarense, nacida, criada y radicada en esta frontera. Terrazas nos comparte que desde los 17 años ha pertenecido a las filas del Partido Acción Nacional, al cual se adhirió con el objetivo de cambiar algo en esta ciudad. “Siempre desde muy chiquitita ese sentido de hacer algo en Juárez fue lo que me movió”, afirma, al mismo tiempo que agrega que estar dentro de la política es “difícil pero no imposible”, pues todo se logra gracias a la organización y la disciplina con las que hace las cosas.
LA MATERNIDAD LA CAMBIÓ Y aunque los temas que tienen que ver con los menores vulnerables siempre han sido su prioridad, es justo después de la maternidad que la protección hacia los niños, niñas y adolescentes se ha convertido en su principal objetivo. “Ahorita estamos trabajando en una ley muy padre que tiene que ver con la regulación de casas hogares, albergues y orfanatos, casas de asistencia social… eso es para asegurar el bienestar de los niños que están tutelados”, nos comparte la mujer que se describe como provida y profamilia. En este lapso también preparó una ley de lactancia y parto humanizado, pues en su papel de mamá se ha sentido incomprendida. “Tuve que trabajar hasta el último momento, un día antes de dar a luz y a los tres días (de nacido su hijo)”, esto, ya que en su gremio no existe la licencia de maternidad. Sin embargo, ella no pierde el objetivo, y ahora trabaja en remediar esas situaciones, “a mí me toca abrir chancha para otras mujeres y
hacerlo de manera digna, de manera responsable, prepararme y sobre todo sentar un precedente. No me da vergüenza llegar con mi hijo a las reuniones, no me da vergüenza tener que salir para extraerme leche… sé que eso causa a veces incomodidad en algunas personas, pero para mí es una realidad, y como yo lo puedo hacer, lo puede hacer cualquier persona”, asegura Terrazas Muñoz, quien ahora más que nunca reconoce el apoyo de su familia. “No veo mi empoderamiento sin mi familia, sin mi esposo, mi mamá, mi papá, sin mis hermanos y tampoco lo veo sin mi hijo”, por quienes trabaja en ser una mujer promotora de los valores de vida y familia y “una mujer que muestra que tener una familia no te imposibilita triunfar en lo profesional”, añadiendo que esto lo aprendió desde su hogar. “Yo vengo de un ejemplo de mi mamá, mi mamá fue mujer trabajadora, mi mamá es enfermera y tuvo tres hijos y nunca faltaba comida en la casa, una casa limpia, se organizaba. Yo aprendí que en estas labores de mamá se duerme menos y se trabaja más, me toca organizarme, hacer equipo con mi esposo, tengo gracias a Dios una red de apoyo, están mis papás, están mis suegros”, comenta.
DIOS EN SU CAMINO Pero Marisela Terrazas sabe que nada de lo que se ha propuesto lo hubiera logrado sin la fe en Dios, quien asegura es su guía, sobre todo en los momentos difíciles cuando ha tenido que tomar decisiones. “Siempre lo he puesto en manos de Dios. A veces cuando me he cansado y he sentido que quiero tirar la toalla, Dios me ha recordado que esta es mi vocación y que tengo que seguir”. “He decidido que mi vocación es la vocación política, que quiero seguir aquí trabajando por Juárez, pero eso se irá dando en el camino, conforme sigamos avanzando”. Por lo pronto sólo espera terminar sin pendientes su gestión y lo más importante, ser un buen ejemplo para su hijo, a quien ayudará a convertirse en un caballero que admire a su mamá y a otras mujeres, a las cuales pide promover en sus hijos varones el respeto al sexo femenino, esencial en cualquier sociedad.
MARISELA TERRAZAS Discipline and organization have allowed the Juarense congresswoman to achieve everything she has worked for since she was very young “I have decided that my vocation is the political vocation,” says Marisela Terrazas Muñoz, PAN deputy for District 05, who as a child dreamed of being Secretary of Education, without imagining that this desire would lead her to teach and give her a series of significant opportunities. At 35 years old, the local deputy of the Chihuahua State Congress is in her second legislature. She has been in charge of presenting initiatives focused on the protection of children, as well as promoting laws for the protection of minors and women in the state. Marisela currently presides over the Youth and Childhood Commission. Among the issues, she has worked on the most are the laws against child abuse, the law for the regulation of daycare centers and the adoption law, the latter her most incredible pride. “We made that law and put in place the temporary adoption program, which is foster care,” in fact, the legislator is the mother of a 19-year-old girl, who came into her life thanks to a foster care program, as well as of a biological baby just seven months old.
POLITICAL LIFE But working for the benefit of others did not come suddenly for the Juarense, who was born, raised and lives in this border city. Terrazas shares with us that since the age of 17, she has belonged to the ranks of the National Action Party, which she joined to change something in this city. “Always since I was a little girl, that sense of doing something in Juarez was what moved me,” she says, adding that being in politics is “difficult but not impossible” because everything is achieved thanks to the organization and discipline with which she does things.
MOTHERHOOD CHANGED HER And although the issues that have to do with vulnerable minors have always been her priority, it is right after motherhood that the protection of children and adolescents has become her main objective. “Right now, we are working on a per-

fect law that has to do with the regulation of children’s homes, shelters and orphanages, social assistance homes... this is to ensure the welfare of the children who are under guardianship”, shares the woman who describes herself as pro-life and pro-family. During this period, she also prepared a law on breastfeeding and humanized childbirth because she had felt misunderstood in her role as a mother. “I had to work until the last moment, one day before giving birth and three days after (her son was born)” because there is no maternity leave in her profession. However, she has not lost her objective and is now working to remedy these situations, “I have to open the field for other women and do it in a dignified and responsible manner, prepare myself and above all set a precedent. I am not ashamed to go to meetings with my son; I am not ashamed to have to go out to express my milk... I know that this sometimes causes discomfort in some people, but for me, it is a reality, and as I can do it, anyone can do it,” says Terrazas Muñoz, who now more than ever acknowledges the support of her family. “I don’t see my empowerment without my family, without my husband, my mom, my dad, my brothers and sisters, and I don’t see it without my son,” for whom she works to be a woman promoter of life and family values and “a woman who shows that having a family does not prevent you from succeeding professionally,” adding that she learned this from home. “I come from an example of my mom, my mom was a working woman, my mom is a nurse and had three children and never lacked food in the house, a clean house, she was organized. I learned that in this work as a mother, you sleep less and work more; I have to organize myself, make the team with my husband, thanks to God I have a support network, my parents are there, my in-laws are there”, she says.

GOD IN HER PATH But Marisela Terrazas knows that nothing of what she has proposed would have been achieved without faith in God, who she assures is her guide, especially in difficult moments when she has had to make decisions. “I have always put it in God’s hands. Sometimes when I’ve gotten tired and felt like I wanted to throw in the towel, God has reminded me that this is my vocation and that I must continue.” “I have decided that my vocation

is the political vocation, that I want to continue working here for Juarez, but that will happen along the way as we continue to move forward.” For now, she only hopes to finish her administration without any pending issues and, most importantly, to be an excellent example for her son, whom she will help to become a gentleman who admires his mother and other women whom she asks to promote in their sons the respect for the female sex, essential in any society.

Qué nos pasó a los seres humanos? ¿En qué momento dejamos de aplicar en nuestra vida social los códigos de la moral? Desde antes de la era cristiana la ética ya existía como un modelo de conducta, ésta se define como “parte de la filosofía que reflexiona sobre lo que está bien o está mal”. La moral es una norma de conducta universal que guía u orienta nuestra conducta, de este modo, podemos distinguir lo que es bueno de lo que no lo es, lo correcto de lo incorrecto. Primero fue el Pentateuco (antiguo testamento) y luego la fe cristiana, la que vino a perfeccionar la conducta humana con la cual el hombre transitó por muchos siglos hasta llegar a dos experiencias de inmoralidad que fueron castigadas por Dios: el período previo al diluvio y la destrucción de Sodoma y Gomorra. En ambos casos se advertía la desviación humana hacia una conducta contraria a las enseñanzas del creador. En nuestros días, la práctica de la moral está sujeta a la interpretación humana y sus gobiernos. Ese desfase de falsos criterios de libertad, están erosionando la mente, la conciencia y la moral del hombre moderno; ahora a lo bueno lo llamamos malo y a lo malo

lo consideramos bueno, como dice la misma Sagrada Escritura. Por eso, la ética no debe de ser una simple rama de la filosofía, sino una genuina forma de vida que puede ser aplicada en nuestra vida cotidiana, en todos los actos, decisiones y comportamientos, bien sea en el trabajo, en los grupos religiosos, en los gobiernos, en los centros escolares, en la forma en que nos relacionamos con nuestros seres queridos o con las demás personas, así como en la relación con el medio ambiente. Es gracias al respeto de todos estos principios y reglas que creamos las condiciones adecuadas para convivir en sociedad. La ética es ese deber moral innato en todo ser humano, es una conducta universal en la que el hombre coincide con una forma de conducta, aunque en muchos lugares la inmoralidad sea ya una forma de vida promovida por los gobiernos. El fundamento de la ética queda establecido en las palabras del Señor Jesucristo: “Todo cuanto queráis que os hagan los hombres, así también haced vosotros con ellos” (Mateo 7:12).
What happened to us human beings? At what point did we stop applying moral codes in our social life? Before the Christian era, ethics already existed as a model of conduct; it is defined as “part of the philosophy that reflects on what is right or wrong.” Morality is a universal standard of conduct that guides or orients our behavior; thus, we can distinguish what is good from what is not good and what is right from what is wrong. First, it was the Pentateuch (Old Testament) and then the Christian faith, which came to perfect human conduct with which man went through many centuries until reaching two experiences of immorality that God punished: the period before the flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. In both cases, the human deviation toward conduct contrary to the creator’s teachings was noticed. Nowadays, the practice of morality is subject to human interpretation and governments. This gap of false criteria of freedom is eroding the mind, conscience and morals of modern man; now we call good evil and evil we consider reasonable, as the Holy Scripture itself says. Therefore, ethics should not be a superficial branch of philosophy, but a genuine way of life that can be applied in our daily lives, in all our actions, decisions and behaviors, whether at work, in religious groups, in governments, in schools, in the way we relate to our loved ones or other people, as well as in our relationship with the environment. Thanks to respecting all these principles and rules, we create adequate conditions to live together in society. Ethics is moral duty innate in every human; it is universal conduct in which man coincides with a form of behavior. However, in many places, immorality is already a way of life promoted by governments. The foundation of ethics is laid in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ: “All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12).

FIND THE RIGHT BALANCE Allowing material goods to be diluted due to poor stewardship is not good stewardship. It is a sign of laziness, poor decisions or bad management. But if we simply multiply and store goods without a purpose, we will be guilty of hoarding, just as the foolish rich man did in Luke 12:16-21. It should be noted that investing in itself is not unbiblical. In fact, in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), God gave the stewards according to their abilities and instructed them to manage those portions well. Each was rewarded or punished according to his stewardship. The purpose of investing is what makes it good or bad. As you learn to invest money according to God’s principles, you will find that God will increase your opportunities to help others. ien dice la Biblia que “los tiempos de Dios son perfectos”, y que mejor ejemplo de esto que nuestra mujer Visionaria de julio, Rocío Madrid, quien mientras estudiaba odontología descubrió en los medios su verdadera vocación. Divertida, positiva y con el don de la palabra, la juarense ha sabido compartir el mensaje del Señor cantando o por medio de los programas de televisión y radio en los que ha participado. Siendo precisamente la radio el medio que hasta el momento más la ha satisfecho y al que se ha entregado desde hace 20 años, luego de aceptar una invitación para participar en una emisión, en la que, aunque se sentía entusiasmada, experimentaba duda por ser quien menos sabía sobre esta nueva vocación. “Todo lo que te venga a la mano para hacer hazlo según tus fuerzas… siempre es importante decir sí a algunos retos”, asegura.
SU MENSAJE Actualmente Madrid se desempeña como conductora en Radio Manantial, además de Vida Unión, en las que participa diariamente transmitiendo la fidelidad de Dios, así como su amor y provisión, “porque es algo que yo he experimentado siempre y es algo que sé que la gente tiene necesidad de escuchar”. Agrega que, para ella el mensaje es una responsabilidad muy grande, pues el poder dirigirse a miles de personas a través de los micrófonos, es decirles que Dios está cerca. Por lo anterior, al empezar su día en su oración pregunta sin pena: Señor qué quieres hablar, qué quieres decirle a la gente. “Que simplemente mi voz pueda darles aliento, me da ánimo”, afirma.

Para esta mujer bendecida en diversas áreas y que ha visto la mano de Dios en las dificultades, es precisamente la palabra del Señor lo que la inspira. “En términos generales hay muchas cosas”, entre ellas nos menciona el servicio que sus padres han dado a Dios, “ellos siendo profesionistas (papá abogado y mamá dentista) dejaron su carrera, él para ser pastor”, lo cual realizó por 36 años, nos cuenta.
DE HOUSTON PARA EL MUNDO La conductora, locutora, cantante, emprendedora y hasta actriz, actualmente se congrega en Lakewood Church, en Houston, donde vive desde hace 11 años y es
parte de la alabanza, la cual fervientemente dedica a Dios, igual que como lo hace con todos sus logros, pues es él quien sin duda le ha abierto todas las puertas. “A veces te va a tocar caminar en la vida rodeada de personas que te impulsan, otras veces algunas de esas personas te pueden dejar a la mitad del camino, pero a veces son esos momentos los que te ayudan a darte cuenta qué tan cerca está Dios de ti, cómo él se encarga de todos los aspectos de tu vida y cómo esas situaciones complicadas a veces son las que permiten que tú descubras la fuerza que él te da, las virtudes que él ha puesto en ti que a veces ni tú misma conocías pero que en esos momentos difíciles es cuando más se desarrollan”, explica ampliamente nuestra entrevistada, quien se dice natural y muy transparente. De hecho, son esas dos últimas características las que la han llevado a ganarse un lugar en el gusto del público tanto cristiano como el que no lo es. “Procuro que en todo lo que haga la gente siempre vea reflejado a Dios; me vea como una mujer que ama a Dios y que él la sostiene, pero sin ser religiosa, más abierta a la gente”, menciona quien en un futuro le gustaría escribir un libro y consolidar sus negocios de ropa y de bienes raíces.
A LAS MUJERES VISIONARIAS Por último, Rocío aconseja a las mujeres visionarias a caminar en la fe, “no deteniéndose tanto por lo que sucedió en el pasado sino por lo que sabe que Dios la puede sorprender en el futuro” y agrega que “aunque tengas miedos avanza porque el pasado ya te dio una idea de quién es Dios en tu vida… puedes caminar con seguridad hacia él en todos los sentidos”. “Confía en Dios y rodéate de las personas correctas, eso es lo importante”, nos menciona.

Radio is precisely the medium that has satisfied her the most. She has devoted herself for 20 years after accepting an invitation to participate in a broadcast in which, although she felt enthusiastic, she experienced doubt about being the one who knew the least about this new vocation. “Whatever comes to hand to do, do it according to your strengths... it is always important to say yes to some challenges,” she assures.

HER MESSAGE Madrid currently works as a host on Radio Manantial, in addition to Vida Unión, where she participates daily transmitting God’s faithfulness, as well as His love and provision, “because it is something I have always experienced and it is something I know people need to hear.” She adds that, for her, the message is a great responsibility because being able to address thousands of people through the microphones is to tell them that God is near. For this reason, when she begins her day in her prayer, she asks without shame: Lord, what do you want to talk about, what do you want to tell people? “That simply my voice can give them encouragement; it gives me courage,” she says.
